Grafton Street Dinner Theatre

Dinner theater

😐 This was a lovely night out. The entertainment was great but they really have to up their game on the food. Cold chowder, hard as rock buns, overcooked chicken and canned corn and instant mashed potatoes. I don’t think I will return due to the lack luster food. People often mention show, great, night, time, actors, dinner, good,

A Holly Dolly Christmas was fun, the singing and song selection very nice. Learned a lot about Dolly Parton - much respect! It's a long evening, from dinner to getting the cheque is over 3.5 hours. Food pretty basic. The interior is cramped feeling BUT the tunes are fun and it's nice to clap and enjoy the show and time w friends.

Such a great experience, fun music played by talented musicians and actors. The food was pretty good too (especially the cheesecake!) and basically everything is gluten free (minus the cheesecake). Really impressive service considering the actors are your servers.

Went here with my wife for a work Christmas party. Very nice atmosphere at the bar before the show. The show itself was extremely entertaining and hilarious to boot. It was my first time there and definitely want to go back again.

An excellent time... highly recommended. The staff work super hard... singing, playing instruments, acting, serving and clearing. The show is lighthearted and campy. The music is excellent! The food is very good... I particularly liked the seafood chowder. A fun evening of entertainment at a reasonable price. Go and have fun!

Cute little dinner theatre where the actors are also the wait staff. The food was ok, nothing special. The line at the bar seemed a bit long. The seating at the tables when we were there were much too close. Overall a good night out and at $50 a good price for all.

The staff was amazing, the show was ok! The food was terrible, not only was it cold but the portion size was very small my group was still hungry, only thing that saved us was the cheesecake! For the money you pay the food should be better as for flavor it wasn't too bad but who wants to eat cold soup and chowder? It's really gone downhill since the last time I was there.

This theater has been going for years, and it never disappoints! Lots of laughs, great acting, good food. I had seafood chowder, roast beef with potatoes and veggies and cheese cake. I didn't like the veggies because they were from a frozen mix, fresh would have been better. The actors are amazing and really make for a fun night!

I have attended performances here on two separate occasions and had a lot of fun both times. The combination of live music, performing a play, and having the actors serve your meal in character is brilliant. The next time I am in Halifax, I will definitely aim to see another show here. Note: The photos below are not of the stage, but the reception area where you can order pre-show drinks.

Considering the circumstances and restrictions, the event was very enjoyable. The food was not as hot as it could have been, but when you are serving over 100 people all at once, that can be expected .

Undoubtedly, one of the very best live interactive musical productions in Canada! The fact that the actors are also professional servers and incredibly talented multi-instrumentalists and vocalists, coupled with excellent food from the chefs and tasty drinks at the bar, makes Grafton Street Dinner Theatre an absolutely outstanding experience!!

Thank you for that fabulous performance 🎭 last night. It's been about six years since I've been there. It has been long overdue and we've certainly had made the right choice to spend a few hours here at Grafton Street Dinner Theater. The staff/crew are so kind and friendly, phenomenal acting, great choice of songs and the food was amazing. I would really recommend this live entertainment to everyone

Fabulous evening! A full house included an audience of all ages. The actors are amazing and very multi talented. They stay in character while serving the guests. They don’t miss a beat. Grafton Street dinner theatre is a must for a fun evening out. Book soon most shows are sold out. The cost for this dinner and show is similar to a breakfast at some restaurants. Certainly get your moneys worth and more. Thank you Cast for a great job.

We had a really fun time here! It was a Christmas show with lots of Christmas songs. The food is not bad, but don't expect a 4 or 5 star meal. But for dinner and a show, the price is definitely reasonable. We have been to a few of their dinner theatres and I think they do a fantastic job. We will definitely go back. Plus it does support local talent which is important!!

It is always a fun time with friends and family. The shows do seem similar (usually the same creator) but it is great fun. Nothing else like it in Halifax.

Compared to other dinner theatres this one had a weak plot line. Could have had more mystery or something. The soup was incredible however the chicken dish main was pretty bland and nothing special.

Went to 2022 opening night of Somebody to Love. Fun, entertaining show put on by a talented and hard working cast. Great outing for any occasion - date night, anniversary, birthday, friends night out - and for any age group. Will go back.
