This is a fun shop but also a clothing store. I’m sure it is all me... but I would like there to be a whole lot more of the fun random things no one ever needs but everyone wants to buy. They really do have some fun products and books here

This is a fabulous shop - always fun to browse, with a wide range of cute and trendy clothing and accessories. A lot of unique brands not available elsewhere in Halifax. They carry only a few of each clothing item, so sometimes it can be difficult to find your size, but it means you will always walk out with a one-of-a-kind item. I have been shopping here for gifts for quite a while and have had good luck finding clothing items in the last couple of years as well.

Cute shop that sells different things like clothes, books, bags, home accessories, jewelry and other cute stuff. Some items are expensive.

Some staff are friendly, some are very much not, so you never know if you'll walk into a nice atmosphere or if it will be an awful experience. Prices are very very high.

Wendy (or Wendy’s staff) was so incredibly helpful in placing an online order! I messaged the store over their business Instagram because I had some questions about the sizing of one of their items and they went above and beyond to help me with figuring out the right size (I am not local so wasn’t able to go in and try on). They took pictures of the garments with different sizes in flat lay so I could compare to something similar I owned. It made the entire process so simple and easy and wanted to share a review as a testimony to their awesome customer service!!

I had an unprofessional experience with this establishment. I had applied to Biscuit General about a week or so ago. Not too long after, the hiring manager messaged me and we spoke about scheduling a time for an interview over skype. She said she could do 10:20 on Monday, and two minutes later I messaged her back saying 10:20 would be perfect. I didn't receive any messages back, and no Skype link for the interview was sent. Monday comes around and I still didn't hear from the hiring manager, or get a Skype link, so I messaged her asking if the interview needed to be rescheduled. I waited 9 hours for a response. She said she didn't see my message confirming the interview until I sent my follow up message, despite it being sent only two minutes after she had just messaged me, and that the position may be filled and she will follow up with me. I told her a follow up wasn't necessary as I am clearly being strung along. I find this very unprofessional of a business to do, as I am simply looking for a job and my time was wasted on this when I could've scheduled other interviews.

Very cute general store on Argyle street! Was fun for me as a tourist to pop in and take a look around at all the fun gifts. I didn’t realize that it was half a clothing store though, and personally I wished there were more odds and ends instead. Love the outdoor design of the store as well. Cool spot in Halifax for sure!

Great store with unique finds and the kindest, most helpful staff you could ever want! Stop by next time you want to treat yourself or someone special to a gift that is sure to please. :)

Lovely little general store with a good selection of clothing available! Staff were incredibly friendly as well.

A quaint store with wonderful staff to assist you. A nice mixture of items to buy with one of a kind pieces! You will not be disappointed.
