The location is very good/central, but I found it hard to believe that this was a 4-star hotel. I think I have stayed at better 2-star hotels. The rooms are very old and in need of maintenance: the floor is falling apart, many of the lamps in my room did not work, and the AC did not work either (the room was very warm). The front desk has very limited hours, and is not manned otherwise. Good luck getting into the hotel if you forget your key and arrive after 11pm. They seemed very annoyed every time I tried to ask them a question.

Good spacious room, but the reception is only opened from 14:30 to 22:00, the lady came late (15:10) and there was a huge line to check in. It took 20min to check in when we were waiting since 13:30 at the lobby

The interior looks very nice, has an old touch, but it's new and mixed with young styles. The audience is mixed, the staff is mostly young. The rooms are very nice. I liked it a lot. When entering the room I was welcomed by the TV display. There were gummy bears on the bed and a treasure box in the bathroom with stuff you probably need there ;). The food was very delicious. I can recommend this hotel.

The hotel has the right combination of elegance, quality, relaxation, and humor. Trust me - it's true. The staff is professional and courteous, truly caring about your stay in their hotel. The hotel is a great value for the cost - and I look forward to finding an opportunity to return again!

I stay here at the Dormero in Halle often. It's not the perfect hotel but I really enjoy it here compared to other place that I stay in Leipzig. I do t know the prices paid becuase my company takes care of that but the rooms are very clean and it has that older hotel charm. There multiple aquariums placed near the bar with the octopus/tropical fish and there quaint seating areas are really cool. One of my preferred places to be and a nice convenient walk to the center of town.

The hotel looks wonderful. Remarkable aquarium off the lobby. Great breakfast buffet. But the air conditioning never worked. And I had a very difficult time stepping up into the shower. Only one elevator.

Not the best experience we had in Hotel, especially for the prize (140€ without Breakfast for one night!!!!). One of our main problems was the service !!! We arrived around 11.00. Check in officially is at 15.00 ,but because we were there for professional reasons we asked if it was possible to have our key half an hour earlier. The blond lady with the glasses at the reception immediately denied and told us to ask her colleague, who would come later!!!! I am sorry but that was a pretty simple question and she should be able to answer. The next morning we wanted to take some coffee in our room. I went and ask politely if I could take 2 cups to the room....guess what? Again she didn't know and I had to ask another Colleague!!!! We still don't know what she actually can answer! The lobby looks nice and impressive in a contrary with the room! Dusty, not taken care of with destroyed towels, dirty and overused furniture. Mini bar was full and you could have something to drink for free. Bed was comfortable,spacious bathroom.

Awesome free minibar. Be sure to get one of the rooms with the additional air conditioning if you stay during the warm months. (Otherwise you'll be stuck sweating out the European version of "climate control") Breakfast is decent, the staff is helpful if not overly interested.

We had a very good time, price was really good compared to other hotels oder airbnbs by the time. Room was kinda oldschool, but clean and nice. Would recommend. They even had a fitness room and wellness, plus a pool table in the lobby.

Not quite like a 4-star hotel in Finland, but the staff was excellent and the English language was perfect. thank you+++

Alone the fish are worth seeing. Beach Boys sleep here. Dinner for two, brunch, beautiful lounge and calm.

Huone oli mukavan tilava. Tykkäsin vanhanaikaisesta sisustuksesta, jonkun verran kulunutta mutta ihana. Koko hotelli oli mielestäni upea. Sijainti myös hyvä. Suosittelen! Ainoa miinus huonosta netti yhteydestä.
