It
was
a
Malakoff
cake.
This
is
traditionally
made
in
Austria
with
pudding
cream
and
the
sponge
cake
is
soaked
in
rum.
Unfortunately,
we
received
a
very
simple
buttercream
cake
with
sponge,
which
was
not
soaked.
Edit:
As
an
end
customer,
I
am
of
course
only
familiar
with
the
cake
with
pudding
cream.
Various
recipes
were
previously
unknown
to
us.
As
a
pastry
shop
with
over
30
years
of
experience,
your
aim
should
be
to
contact
the
customer
and
discuss
the
different
possible
variations.
You
have
decided
to
make
the
cake
according
to
your
ideas
without
any
suggestions
or
agreements.
When
you
pulled
the
sponge
cake
out
of
the
cake,
it
was
like
you
were
taking
it
fresh
out
of
the
package.
I
miss
your
claim
that
they
were
soaked,
so
the
sponge
cake
would
have
had
soft
spots.
The
fact
that
a
company
like
yours,
with
30
years
of
experience,
does
not
inform
customers
about
different
preparation
options
is
telling
enough!
