Great place with tasty food. Everything was delicious, and portions could be slightly bigger. Sangria was tasty but missing a bit of kick. Some more alcohol would be nice. I didn't like music, but that's my personal view. I prefer some nice Spanish melody in this kind of restaurant. After all, this was a great experience.

Amazing authentic Tapas and great hospitality of a welcoming and very attentive team. Taste and presentation of dishes is perfect and did not disappoint. Spanish interior and calm hidden backyard create a cosy atmosphere. Location opposite the Rathaus Altona and Elbterassen is easy to reach. Don’t miss their Calamari, Shrimps and Pulpo tapas and treat yourself afterwards with Creme brûlée. Enjoy!

The food was cooked exactly how my mum would do it. Very recommendable if you are looking for authentic tapas in Hamburg. A bit pricey but worth it!

The service is excellent! So friendly, so kind and hospitable. They care about their customers a lot!!!! Loved the service there! The food was wonderful. Everything was yummy and tasty. Salad and veges were fresh, octopus was so yummy, so as sardine. Desert plate was so gorge and yummy! Cheese cake is highly recommended!! We'll definately come back. Excellent restaurant.

If there is something that, being a Spaniard I can reproach to this restaurant is not having a more Spanish food experience and being too oriented to what the non-Spanish audience expects rather than what real Spain gastronomy is. (Yes, Spaniards don't sleep siesta every day and don't eat based on tapas every day). But apart on that Barcelona is a good restaurant with genuine and authentic Spanish taste and not any weird addition like the infamous "pollo pin pin" or curry things you may find in other places. The mojo is real mojo, the boquerones en vinagre are the same you could have in any Spanish bar... Also deserts are fine and tasty. Maybe more variety of Spanish beers would be something nice.

The food here is amazing! High quality tapas that could easily be sold as separate, fancy dishes in a star restaurant, in terms of taste and of serving style. The atmosphere is beautiful, very good wines (we tried 3 in one dinner and were satisfied by all of them) and service with a smile. I'm almost afraid to highly recommend it (it's already highly frequented) because then it will get too difficult for me to find a table 🙈 Kudos to the chef!

Barcelona Tapas Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We had just arrived at Hamburg Airport and wanted to eat Spanish cuisine. Checked out the nearest place and found it. There's no free parking as is the case in the whole city. The Restaurant was absolutely empty which kinda felt like a warning sign but we were warmly greeted and chose a table near the window. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. Bit on the pricier side but definitely worth every penny. Limited drink options but plenty of wine so it would have been great if we were there for dinner. I would totally recommend the restaurant for good Spanish food 😋
