Amazing dim sum!! I grew up in Hong Kong and have been craving proper dim sum like crazy, and this hit the spot. Kind of pricey (compared to HK) but expected for Hamburg. Good for a big group as you can get lots of dishes to share.

Good hygiene concept 2G through and through! Dim sum is good. Tee is good. Service can be a little more but it’s also not too bad.

The food here is great! Pretty authentic Cantonese cuisine. Highly recommend the dim sum! They were also very stringent with the corona rules regarding dine-in, which I really appreciated. Overall, great experience!

DIM SUM IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA 🥟 We spontaneously went to Herr He today and got lucky because we got the last remaining table 🥰 food came quickly, the non-alcoholic drinks were delicious and all dim sum is HANDMADE which is so important to me personally because otherwise I don‘t think I‘d visit. We finished with the salted egg yolk custard buns and they were also homemade and sooooo good! We will definitely come back again!

The staff is friendly. Environment is clean. The rice comes with dishes and no additional fee, but chewy and not warm at all. We ordered sweet and sour pork and beef brisket pot, both of them are below average. Two pieces of the sweet and sour pork weren’t cooked or heated well, with cold texture in the middle of the pork. About beef brisket pot, the fat portion is less balanced, making it hard to chew, texture and smell of fat meat is overwhelming. Not the mention the overpriced of a glass of still water for €4.2.

A nice Chinese cuisine restaurant with fast service, excellent food, and a genuine feel to it. A healthy mix of locals, Chinese people, and tourists which indicate a restaurant with a good reputation. The wantan soup was fresh and excellent. I personally feel that a good wantan soup is a sign of great care for a restaurant. The dim sum was excellent, fresh and well filled. The waiters were friendly and the portions were good sizes without a long wait for anything. Also, the drinks were very large! This is not a high end restaurant by any means but it is well priced and good food. The crispy duck and pancakes were great though the duck tasted smoked which was unexpected. It would be great if they had a broader selection of typical dishes for western Chinese cuisine such as salt and pepper prawns, crispy noodles, and others. I will definitely be back for more of the great dim sum.

This is the 2nd time we came here for the cantonese dim sum since we’d found the taste was authentic two years ago. Unfortunately, this should be our last time as the dim sum quality is no longer good and even tasted similar to other so-called asian restaurants in Germany, that some of them tried to fake the western customers with the frozen dim sum. Moreover, the price has been increased by approx. 20% compared to last time. Very pricey and disappointed !!

I used to live in Beijing, China for 4 years - so im confident i know which one is authentic or not. My fav here: - turnip cake - 9/10 sooo good! - cakwe congfan 油条涨粉 10/10 perfect. its crispy inside (cakwe the deep fried stick) and outside the congfan is soo soft. even my friend who is a chef curious how its made - the pig platter 8/10 - stir fried beans 8/10 - seafood poridge 8/10 - salted egg bun 7.8/10 i like it but its just too sweet for me my only complain is the kung pao jiting does not have mala and its not spicy.. so 7/10. maybe its because it adjust with the local taste but definately worth to try!

Cash only! They give free dessert when you give them review. Food and dim sum is awesome. As Chinese, I will recommend. I ordered XO claypot eggplants, quantity is enough for two persons. The dim sum is very tasty and not like some restaurant that serve the frozen one. Overall food is tasty but a bit pricey. But consider the atmosphere and clean conditions, it is reasonable price. Free dessert is so so, but it’s free so no complain 😁

The food was great. The waitress are also very nice only we have to wait a little bit long for our foods. But it was worth it. I will definitely comeback to this restaurant if I visit Hamburg again.

It’s strategically located near the central station. A lot of dim sum options and friendly service. They understood completely and were still nice although I didn’t order a drink cause I had only few cash on me (the card reader wasn’t working). The price is a bit expensive, but it’s worth it. The wonton soup is delicious.

Food was just fine and authentic. Tho there were full of people, the service was still pretty decent. Would like to visit again in the future!

One of the best Dim sam restaurant in Hamburg with a great variety of delicious Cantonese Dim Sam. The glutinous steamed rice in lotus leaves seems lack of fragrance of the lotus leaves and taste. Others dim sam is really tasty.

The skin of the rice noodle rolls is really superior, extra soft and sticky. No deep impression of other dishes, normal level Location is very good, right next to the central train station.

Dim Sum with traditional authentic flavours, highly recommended for food. The Service has not been fully satisfactory …with no air conditioning the restaurant was amazingly hot in a super warm summer day, they don t have credit card payment…and we received a last dish in huge delay like they completely forgot it…but the food taste was impressive! It really reminded me of the dim sum i had in hong kong , not that easy to find same in europe, so definitely worth to go there again, maybe in a fresher day and always with cash.

Aurhentic chinese food in Hamburg. Super plus point for friendly service and good ambience. The grill meat combination is a good option to order for sharing. Dimsum options are various and mouth watering. Dont forget to order chinese tea to compensate all of those oils. 😄 must come back when I visit Hamburg

Incredible authentic Chinese food. I was so hungry I ordered 50€ worth of food that day. Definitely on the pricey side. You order 3 dimsum and you quickly end up around 18€ and that doesn't keep you full So you really have to spend up to 20€+ to really have a full meal The service staff was okay. The food was definitely the highlight

I wish I had known about this place earlier! Besides the two dishes, we also ordered stir-fried rice noddles with beef and steamed pork ribs with fermented black beans. They were super delicious. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for authentic Dim Sum in Hamburg!

We came here for Dim Sum and ordered 4 types of Dim Sum and a small bowl of congee. I was surprised by the excellent quality and taste. It was one of the best Dim Sum I ever ate in europe. It could really compete with the original from asia. The restaurant has a friendly modern look and everything is very clean and tidy. I would give it 6 stars if possible.

The service was good. The dim sum was good but not exceptional. I didn’t care for the roasted duck and pork (#66 on the menu). The hot and sour soup was amazing but it definitely is not worth the 5 Euro. Hamburg dim sum restaurants need to introduce hot mustard (this is the Chinese yellow mustard not the Japanese Wasabi) It is a sauce offered at all dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong. They do accept credit card as long as you have a visa or MasterCard. Worth a try. It is definitely better than the nearby dim sum restaurant.

My 3rd time here when in Hamburg. Authentic chinese food, price slightly on higher side. Place is always crowded, therefore it’s hard to get the waitress attention. Our orders were forgotten for 1+ hour until we checked with them. ☹️ Get their dim sum, XO carrot cake and chee chong fan. Their duck is decent.

Great place to eat Cantonese food. The taste is good, the price is fair, and location is just near the HBF. Nice to try!

Rating Herr He a 3.5. We were tossing up between this restaurant and Dim Sum Haus but it was opened earlier and when turned up and it was busy with Asians which is always a good sign! The dim sum was decent but har Gau and siu mai were disappointing. The stand out dishes was the mapo tofu & sweet & sour pork.

Beef Ho Fun tastes like back home in Guangdong, sooo good and 有锅气! Roast duck skin is crispy and the duck meat is tender and juicy, love everything there actually! And the staffs are very friendly too. We had a great experience and will definitely come more often!
