Ein wunderschönes Haus. Alles sehr künstlerisch. Auch wenn die Geschäfte geschlossen hatten (wir waren am Sonntag da), war der Ort für uns spannend. Die Geschäfte sprachen uns aber auch an.

Das Levantehaus ein ehemaliges Kontorhaus mit zwei fast parallelen Baukörpern wurde von den Architekten Franz Bach und Carl Bensel, als damaliger Hubertushof, entworfen und 1911/12 gebaut. Den Namen Levantehaus bekam das Gebäude ungefähr 1925, wahrscheinlich benannt nach dem ersten großen Mieter, der Deutschen Levante Schifffahrts-Linie. 1943/44 durch Bomben zerstört und 1948-1950 durch Bach & Wischer weitgehend originalgetreu wieder aufgebaut. Wegen eines Überangebotes an Büroflächen in Hamburg und dadurch schwer zu vermietenden Räume im Kontorhaus wurde es 1995 bis 1997 in eine Einkaufspassage mit Hotel***** umgebaut. Die denkmalgeschützte Fassade wurde erhalten. Das ebenfalls denkmalgeschützte Dach rekonstruiert, innen alles entkernt um vier normale, statt der zwei Staffelgeschoße, erhöht und alles nach den neuen Bedürfnissen aufgeteilt. EG und 1. OG wurden zur Einkaufspassage, die Innenhöfe bekamen in diesem Bereich ein tolles Glasdach.

Das Levantehaus ist gerade zur Weihnachtszeit so schön geschmückt, das muss man sich anschauen 😍Und man kann dort auch in einigen Läden shoppen oder was für den Hunger tun.

We took our breakfast at a Café located on the ground floor, and we loved the food and service, and the prices were quite doable.

A lovely gallery that offers nice bars, cafè, and small shops selling hand-made stuff. Decorations vary from time to time. This ine with the haning books (see pics) is my favourite so far.

Ein tolles Erlebnis hier in der Vorweihnachszeit. Die Dekorationen sind wirklich hübsch und hier sind tolle Läden und Cafés mit drin. Ebenso ist es sehr aufgeräumt.

The Levantahaus is a very pretty, calm and small indoor mall. It contains some restaurants, cafes, some shops and a bubble tea store. It's spannes two floors, and despite being very small it has three entrances. I believe there is a elevator somewhere... But I'll have to check again next time. Even just meandering through there is worth it because it's so nicely made. A great place for dates and meetups in general.

It's a beautiful place old fashioned but modern. The shops inside are cute and contain goods fitting to the house itself (which isn't important but i like it.

Eine kleine und sehr schöne Passage. Viele private Geschäfte, die auch mal andere Dinge anbieten. Ein klasse vietnamesisches Restaurant ist im 1. Stock (beste Pho Ga ever). bummeln, shoppen, essen, entspannen, ein toller Ort

Must see but please not in corona time... to small, to crowded. Theres literally physically no space for people who wanna keep the safe distance. Also not for every pocket and I can give you a many better options in the City or even close by.

Strange shopping center. A couple of nice boutiques and a dozen of useless ones. The trick is that every one will find his own 2. I enjoyed a tea store and some small shop with brushes, knives and soaps. Kind of exclusive quality items.
