Nice view, but be prepared that it's very popular and gets crowded. When I went there there were like at least 20 people, with professional cameras set up, so you couldn't stand in the middle to get a picture, you only had the option to stand to the side of the bridge.

Good spot to take pictures. A couple nice coffee shops nearby... Nothing else, really. Nice place, though. A little gloomy at night. I suppose for those with more eccentric tastes it may have some aspect of romantic appeal...maybe. Still nice to enjoy with a good cup of coffee, as long as the coffee lasts and stays warm. It has good history to it if you are interested (1888 treaty that added Hamburg to the German customs union).

Most iconic view of Hamburg. Any season at night the lights make it more alive. Photos are nothing compared to the view in your own eyes. I recommend one should visit once here.

One of the famous places in Hamburg! Come to Ericusspitze bus stop to get the most photographed location. Photos are better when sunny, in evening the bridges can't be captured nicely.

Popular photo stop. Expect plenty of people but worth the view. The whole district is worth it so the photo opportunity shouldn't be the only main point. You can walk to the ruins of St Nicolas church, for example.

No Words✨🌃❤️ Little thing that should be experienced: As the sun was setting down, I saw many people setting up their camera and being so vigilant to capture the moment of lights being turned on throughout the stretch of buildings and the cafe Inbetween connected by the beautiful flexing bridge on the sides of the water🥺😍♥️

This is perhaps the most photogenic and instagrammable spot you don't want to miss in Hamburg. A perfect view of canals and old industrial buildings. Less people during weekdays.

It really Impressive to these towering buildings and get the expression how about work used to look like. All the info plates scattered around the area are even giving some really neet info an certain buildings. There are is a really cute cafe amidst it all and some museums and entertainment to round up the package. I love to see the Speicherstadt illuminated next time!!!!

Very peaceful... Loved the ambience.. you could just stay there watching the sunset and how lights are decorated post sunset. Recommended to take note of sunset timing to view before and after sunset. Too many bridges for u to get lost but locals are great to guide you to the very spot.

Amazing city on water. One of the most iconic places of Hamburg. The buildings gave their own theme which make you feel you are in other place. Stunning

Speicherstadt in Hamburg is a captivating gem that transports you to another era. The red brick warehouses, crisscrossed canals, and picturesque bridges create a mesmerizing ambiance that’s both historic and enchanting. Exploring the narrow streets and gazing at the beautifully preserved architecture is a feast for the eyes. Whether you’re wandering through the charming shops, enjoying a coffee in one of the cozy cafes, or simply taking in the atmosphere, Speicherstadt offers a unique and unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Hamburg’s rich maritime heritage.

If you visit Hamburg, this is a must. Spend some time walking through it and enjoying the very different Hamburg. If the weather is good I recommend being there for sunrise and sunset!

Surrounding buildings are being renovated currently, but this exact spot can be seen and it is not covered. A lot of tourists are posing for photos which can ruin the view.

Speicherstadt is easily one of the most picturesque corner in Hamburg. It's an excellent place to capture a photo that screams "I'm in Hamburg!" ;-)

I’ve seen the amazing pictures of this place at night, but, when I was there, it was very dark. Probably because it was a Saturday night?

Many photographers gather at night in the bridge to take beautiful photos of the canal, didn't see it during daylight, but in the dark it's also captivating

A great place in Hamburg, a must-visit in the city. It's the biggest old warehouses quarter in the world, now it's a part of the UNESCO heritage. Here there is a big number of brick warehouses standing along the numerous channels. Also, there are many impressive iron bridges here. Near the Speicherstadt there is a beautiful modern district - HafenCity which is also worth visiting. The most popular view of the Speicherstadt can be seen from the Poggenmühlenbrücke bridge. Also, very beautiful views can be seen from other bridges - like Wandrahmsteg, Shanghaibrücke and Magdeburger Brücke. You can get here by the metro (nearest stations - Meßberg, Baumwall, Überseequartier, HafenCity Universität), on foot from the city center or Elbe promenade (about 10 minutes of walk), also it's not far from the central train station (about 10 minutes of walk).

The landscape is amazing. The brick buildings with the rivers in between give up charming historical industrial atmosphere. Definately worth the visit and walk around.

Very cool district of former warehouses in Gothic Revival style from the 19th century. Worth a visit to admire the architecture and the various museums in the district. Notable locations are the Miniatur Wunderland and the Kaffeemuseum.

A real treat to see this. The old warehouses are well preserved and are architecturally beautiful. Cross old iron bridges, zigzag through the cobbled streets. A heaven for photographers.

It's difficult to describe the beauty of this place by words. It gives happiness to see amazing building, to walk along the river. I hope to see here again before I die.

Surely the best view that you can have in Hamburg at night. Without people around you and with slight rain it feels almost magical. If you are in Hamburg i recommend everybody to go around dawn/early night when there is still some light in the sky.

Speicherstadt is a very interesting area to walk around and get the feel from a much older Hamburg. The area was done up maybe 20 years ago and offers not only the views of old storage buildings but also very good restaurants
