I've been to a lot of escape rooms in different countries and cities, and I can say the Skurrilum deserves a place among the gods of escape rooms. Incredibly fun and imaginative. This alone made the visit the Hamburg already worthwhile!

We did the Weeping Lady room and it was really really well done. Probably better at 3 (we were 5) but the individual puzzles and the room design in particular was great! I cannot speak for the other rooms (yet), so take this only as a review of that particular room.

Visited with friends and family. They offered the whole experience also in English. A great start. A friendly welcome and we went in. nano spoilers apart from you definitely won't regret it. Great setup. Lots of funny quirks, fantastic props and attentive staff always willing to give a hint of asked for. Awesome

Did both rooms, was a very cool experience. We loved the second room better, but the first held a very nice surprise which was a fresh breath of air in the collection escape rooms we've done. Worth your while in my opinion!

Great room and the hosts (I think Toby and Zoé) were excellent

Absolutely fantastic escape room experience. You can choose between German and English for the event. The game master is very engaged and will follow your progress the entire time. Very emersive experience altogether with the decor, the story, the interactions with the game master and the entrance into the room itself. We've been to over 30 rooms as a group now and this has to be one of the best we've visited. We're coming back for more. We played Phantominsel.

I went here with 2 of my friends on the weekend, and played the game about the dead animals. It was very spooky, but super fun! The rooms were made to be a real experience, and we were fascinated right from the start. The level of difficulty is reasonable, so we didn’t feel too stupid, and we had a lot of fun and laughs while completing the tasks. The employees are also super energetic and clearly very passionate. They definitely added to the experience, and Julian was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and clear with instructions. I can only recommend.

We were a party of four with three children of ages 10 to 12 and booked Ernie Hudson und der Zoo des Todes. We very much liked that this escape room has a story based on an audio book. It was a well designed plot and a very special interior. We had a lot of fun and it is well suited for kids of this age. We will definitely try the other rooms.

I have done +20 escape rooms and this is by far the best escape room I've ever done. Everything from the decorations to the music to the riddles was 10/10. Definitely recommend to anyone going to Hamburg if you like escape rooms. This is not your regular escape room. Ps. We did both the Phantom Island and the Zoo of Death.

Great rooms, really well designed! Made us all curious to see the other rooms. Unfortunately there was a language mistake for the introduction so we missed a bit part of the context. Remains an escape game to visit!

My first escape room, so much better and so different from what I expected. Brilliantly detailed and really well thought out. Lots of fun and excitement!! I can get a bit claustrophobic, but it was no problem at all because I was so engrossed in the story and trying to figure out the next clue. Our “guide” was also really nice and assured me that I could come out at any time, which I didn’t need to at all. I thoroughly recommend it with family as we did or a group of friends. Fantastic!! We did the radio play mystery “ Ernie Hudson und der Zoo des Todes” (Ernie Hudson and the Zoo of Death) in English.

So far, the best escape the rooms I've experienced in Hamburg. The rooms are fantastically decorated and the theme is very varied. They have almost all the rooms in English and they are always very friendly.

Great storytelling and atmosphere. I highly recommend to go with a group of 4 people maximum so you get the best of the experiences. The game masters are super nice and attentive.

Came to Hamburg especially for this Escape Room, and it not disappoint. We did have the wailing woman booked, but they have a temporary problem with that so we had to pick something else. We went to two of them, the Grotte - where we did not pay attention and booked the room even though it was in German (none of us speak German 😅), but they were really nice and offered to give us our money back if we wanted or to play it with the help of the game master when it was in German. Julien did an amazing job, and he really immersed us in the story. The next day we went to the Zoo and it was absolutely incredible. We loved all the mechanics and the details of the room. Evie was our game master here and thankfully she did not have to interact with us during the room too much, but she was amazing as well. All in all, a great experience. Hopefully we’ll come back for the wailing woman as well!

👍👍 I booked this experience as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and it was totally the best decision ever. The riddles between two people are not impossible but still challenging so it depends on how much a fast thinker you are if you want to go in a much smaller group. There was so much thought and de...

👍👍 We did all 3 rooms, and can definitely recommend all 3 of them. All 3 rooms have a good story. They stole a million: a really good room with a good and funny plot story, puzzles are logic and make sense. Time doctors: a fun room where you change locations (which we love) and type of puzzles is diffe...
