Had fun visiting the place my husband enjoys so much on TV in his hometown. The staff had as much character as the place and we completely enjoyed our conversations. The beer tasted better than normal in such surroundings.

Comfy local and historical pub. But it is obviously a bit to small. But when you'll come at night it is possible to get a spot at table ;)

Very rude personal, I just came in to ask if there is a free table, the woman was shouting at me that it is not allowed to take photos. I said i wasn’t there to take photos. It is unbelievable how this people behave. so called “kult” bar, is this how you represent Hamburg German culture?

We visited this place as we have seen on the TV. It's a lot smaller then I thought. We had a pleasant drink here and looked at all the interesting pictures and photos on the wall and ceiling.

It's a very nice and small bar in Hamburg, one of the oldest with a maritime theme. Lots of interesting memorabilia on the walls, well worth a visit.

The best atmosphere to have old german schnapps and to meet interesting people. The bar woman is very active and polite to all visitors. Its worth to visit it!

Oldest seaman pub in Hamburg. You can find a lot of interesting artifacts inside. Great seating outside, if weather permits. Be sure to try the local ASTRA beer from Hamburg.

The waitress litteraly screamed at us like she was a guard.

I found this place by chance. Very nice atmosphere. Pub is small, 3-4 tables and bar. It is like authentic pub near the port.

Great Cafe with vegetarian options and a fantastic goat cheese salad. Lots of outdoor seating and reasonable price.
