Speicherstadt is located in the center of Hamburg, in the heart of the city. And who would have thought that port warehouses could become such a beautiful and interesting attraction?! Also, Speicherstadt is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, so I highly recommend that you take a walk or take a boat ride here. Now these buildings house a huge number of museums, cafes, and restaurants. My personal recommendations to visit nearby: the Maritime Museum, the Elbphilharmonie and the Speicherstadt Kaffeerösterei cafe.

(Translated by Google) World's largest historical warehouse complex. Very nice, well restored brick building. The ships used to import directly here. Everything too small today. That is why everything is being converted to apartments and other usable space.

You haven't seen Hamburg if you haven't been to the Speicherstadt - on foot or by ferry, it doesn't matter. There are tons of things to do and see. Attention: if you take the ferry, pay attention to the tides! It's best to ask on site, you can't enter the canals when the water is low...

Despite my third visit, the Speicherstadt continues to fascinate me. This unique combination of historic buildings, modern architecture and canals always leaves a special impression. No matter whether you travel on foot, by bike or on a boat, it never gets boring and there is always something new to discover. Hamburg, I'm sure I'll come back.

I really liked the Hamburg Speicherstadt. Very nice for a walk. It is possible to travel the entire Speicherstadt by boat. Finding a parking space wasn't that difficult, mind you, I was there on a Sunday.

(Translated by Google) The Speicherstadt, beautifully situated at the port of Hamburg, the heart of the city. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and fortunately largely spared from the war. The large brick and clinker buildings testify to brisk commercial activity. This is still partly legible: coffee, carpets and other import/export goods came and went here. Just stroll around or grab a barge and sail along there.

(Translated by Google) You have to go there twice. Once on foot across all the bridges, once by boat, ideally in the evening when everything is illuminated. The brick buildings, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, should not be missing when visiting Hamburg. (Original) Muss man zweimal hin.
