I almost went blind after multi focal lens operation and still have many problems almost one year later. Went specifically to Germany to have this done. Now under treatment by a specialist in Singapore who told me he would have never advised me this operation. Euro Eyes only cares about making money. Do not go there. See a specialist somewhere else

I am writing a review on behalf of a friend who I accompanied to Hamburg for an operation. Due to corona, I could not be in the waiting area and was instead recommended to take a walk. Yep, understandable. When we arrived in Hamburg, we called to confirm the times so we could plan our schedule accordly. We advised that the operation would take about an hour but no more than 2 hours. When she arrived for her 1.30pm appointment she specified at the beginning that we needed to leave for our train at 4.30pm where I needed to be back in Berlin for a meeting and also because she was told that she could not "linger around for too long" after the surgery due to corona. So after waiting for 30 minutes (around 2pm) she followed up to see whether there was any delay since we have a train to catch. My friend was rest assured by one of the receptionists that someone would come pick her up shortly and that she would not miss her train. She waited another 20 minutes (so 50 mins altogether) until someone finally attended to her for the preoperation process (tests and measurements). In the operation prep room, they gave her numbing drops. A couple of minutes after another patient arrived and got the same and shortly after 10 minutes another patient had the same. Both patients who came in after my friend had their operation completed before her. It was already 3pm so she spoke to the nurse as she was worried we would miss the train. The nurse said that everything will be done by 4'oclock. But another patient came after and went in for their operation, which triggered my friend to stress and cry. As a result, the nurses came to ask what was wrong. My friend explained everything and the nurse left to consult with someone and then came back and to tell my friend that the train tickets will be reimbursed and that she relaxes. The reason why we came to Hamburg was because she scheduled the operation with Dr Lerche (two months ago) who can only perform this certain operation/technique in the Hamburg clinic. The doctor who came into the room was instead someone else. Another nurse came to put drops in her eye again but this time put it in the wrong eye... Just great.. the perfect way to make someone feel relaxed. I just don't understand why they keep making promises. If they are going to be late say so. So we could make alternative arrangements. When I came to pick her up at 3.30pm, I was told me that it will take another 30 minutes and that they would call me. I came around 4:05pm, after taking a walk outside for the past god knows how long in the cold where everything was closed and yet she still wasn't out. At 4:20 she was out, after we had to explain the situation, they advised us that if we didn't make the train they would reimburse us. I found it absolutely contradicting when they asked her not to do sports but to somehow get herself to HBF to make it for her train in 10 minutes. I don't understand how they could put a patient through all this stress. All that aside, I am looking to somehow obtaining my friend's file in Berlin by 12pm tomorrow as promised :) My poor friend had to experience all this unnecessary stress. I really hope that no other patient will have to go through anything even close to this experience. Please work on internal and transfer of communication!!!!!

I had my nearsightedness corrected here using Lasik surgery and I am absolutely thrilled - not only with the result (I can see wonderfully), but also with the friendliness of the staff, the unproblematic operation and the sensitive, very nice doctor! I had trifocal lenses inserted in October 2022. After a year and 4 months, 2 follow-up laser treatments and 10 check-ups in Hanover later, I can only say that I very much regret the procedure. Vision has never been so bad in my life... I constantly have the feeling that everything is out of focus. I have zero contrast when I see, everything looks like it's through a filter. Every time I check, I supposedly get 90 to 100 percent vision in the eye test, which is true, I can see everything, but everything is out of focus, without contrast, milky and blurry edges. Reading and screen work is extremely tiring, the area in which reading is possible is limited to the maximum, 1 cm too much or too little distance and reading no longer works. When driving, I feel like I have to get within 5 meters of the signs in order to see them clearly. I'm extremely disappointed with the result, a lot of money for a very, very bad result. I've worn glasses or contact lenses for 30 years and my vision was 100 times better. I don't want to advise anyone against the operation, but I can't recommend it to anyone in good conscience, think about it carefully!!!! I wish I hadn't had the procedure. In retrospect, I would be happier with glasses.

Came here because of my very high myopia (-12 and -15) and EuroEyes provided me with the amazing solution of intraocular lenses (ICL). The service and support from all staff is exceptional, the premises very modern and comfortable. If you wish to improve your eyesight with lasik or ICL lenses, this clinic is highly trustworthy and I would recommend it 200%.

4 years ago I had a relex smile procedure. Overall, it is much more comfortable than before with glasses or contact lenses and I am glad to have had the procedure. In a few years the costs (compared to contact lenses) should have been paid off. It is never certain and obvious that an operation like this will go well, but most people do it. I'm one of those cases where - so far - everything went well.

I spent 500 euros for an eye test, 300 euros for 2 nights in a hotel. traveled by car 1300 km Prague-Hamburg-Prague. Now I've decided to have surgery. Multifocal lenses. As a result, I have been waiting for 3 weeks for an answer to 2 letters asking me how to do the operation. Conclusion. 1 star is too generous for these doctors.

Ich habe mir jahrelang überlegt, ob ich meine Fehlsichtigkeit korrigieren lassen soll und hatte furchtbare Angst vor der Augenoperation. Ich bin stark kurzsichtig und mir wurde die ICL-Linse empfohlen. Eine tolle Sache, wenn man Angst vor der Augenoperation hat, da der Eingriff reversibel ist. Das Euroeyes-Team hat mich sehr gut beraten und am Operationstag hätte es nicht besser laufen können. Ich war unfassbar nervös, aber das Team war sehr lieb und unterstützend. Ich habe mich die ganze Zeit über in guten Händen gefühlt. Die Operation ist schmerzlos, aber fühlt sich sehr merkwürdig und unangenehm an. Sie ist aber super schnell vorbei und Dr. Jørgensen hat mir ein gutes Gefühl gegeben und die Situation stetig aufgelockert, indem er mit mir gesprochen und auch ein paar Witze gemacht hat. Bei der Operation hat eine Op-Schwester meine Hand gehalten und ich wusste, dass alle nur das Beste für mich wollen und tun. Ich konnte gleich nach der Operation scharf, aber natürlich noch verschwommen sehen. Trotzdem war das der absolute Wahnsinn und unbeschreiblich. Einen Tag nach der Operation hatte ich auf beiden Augen schon 100% Sehkraft und ich hatte schon eine klare Sicht. Mir ging es einen Tag nach der Op schon richtig gut. Das ist bestimmt individuell unterschiedlich. So oder so lohnt sich die Operation. Ich würde es auch in keiner anderen Klinik machen wollen. Ich danke dem Euroeyes Team und besonders Dr. Jørgensen so sehr! Es fühlt sich für mich ein bisschen wie ein neues Leben an!🤍

I had a LASIK in my early 30’s. The result was perfect and I didn’t need contact lenses or glasses anymore. It just felt sooo great. In my late 40’s, I decided to get my emerging presbyopia fixed with multifocal implants, also at EuroEyes Hamburg. Quick, easy and the result was amazing. I used to have a high degree of myopia, -7.5D on both eyes. Contact lenses created terrible difficulties in wearing, and there were not even any points about glasses because I doing a lot of sports - running and triathlon. I’m originally from Ukraine and I don’t trust to our local eye clinics. I always dreamed of doing the laser eye surgery in a German clinic and then finally opted for EuroEyes clinic at the end of 2014. I’m very pleased that the clinic personnel speak very good English. I had a choice between Femto-Lasik and the new ReLEx smile. I was explained in all details about these two procedures and I made a choice for ReLEx smile. I knew that I had to pay more for this procedure, however it worth this kind of money. I was lucky that my surgeon was Dr. Jorgensen – he made everything perfectly and painlessly. I was not worried during the procedure and I fully trusted him. I was very surprised that the operation went so fast, only about 10 minutes. When I left the operating room I opened my eyes and could see everything very clear! I didn’t feel any pain after the surgery at all. However I had to wear sunglasses because of the high sensitivity to light on the surgery day and the next day. When I came to the clinic the next day to check my eyesight, it turned out that I see almost 100%! It was difficult to describe my emotions at this moment. Two days after the operation, I had my flight back to Kiev, during which I did not experience the usual feeling of dry eyes when wearing lenses. A few days later I was able to put on my favourite sneakers for training, and a week later I ran a personal best at half marathon! Frau Schmökel hat die meisten Vor- und Nachchecks gemacht und mit ihrer lieben und beruhigenden Art wirklich grandios zugearbeitet. Das gibt Ruhe und Vertrauen in das was folgt. Herr Jørgensen (Inhaber) wiederum hat die OP super schnell und routiniert durchgeführt. Der Erfolg gibt ihm absolut recht. Der Gesamteingriff bei der ReLex Smile hat ca 10 Minuten gedauert. Insofern frage ich mich heute nur warum ich das nicht schon eher gemacht habe. Angefangen mit den Präsentationsabenden im wunderschönen Flagship Store, über das große und stets nette Team, die vielen Aufklärungsgespräche, Vorchecks und vor allem Nachchecks erfährt man hier stets Betreuung auf höchsten Niveau. Nach vorher -3.25 habe ich nun auf beiden Augen über 100% Sehfähigkeit. Außerdem möchte ich die Sauberkeit und schöne Dekoration loben - hier machen nicht nur einige, sondern alle Hände alles richtig. :)) Gerne empfehle ich EuroEyes und die beteiligten Personen aktiv weiter.

Toll, einfach toll. Ich kann den Linsenaustausch von ganzen Herzen empfehlen. Es hat tatsächlich mein Leben verändert - nicht nur benötige ich keine Brille mehr und kann in jeder Situation alles lesen bzw. klarsehen, sondern ich habe auch das Gefühl, dass mir Jahre abgenommen worden sind, als wenn ich eine Verjüngungskur durchgemacht habe. Ein neuer Blick auf die Welt! Vor ungefähr einem Jahr hörte ich in der Sendung "Ina's Nacht" von Ina Müller, dass sie sich Trifokallinsen bei EuroEyes hat einsetzen lassen. Man merkte ihr die Begeisterung an und ich dachte mir, ja, das will ich auch (Altersweitsichtigkeit beheben). Also machte ich mich auf zu einer großen Recherche und habe wirklich ALLES zu dem Thema gelesen, was das Netz hergibt. Schnell kristallisierte sich EuroEyes heraus, da sie m. E. die meisten OP's dieser Art machen und über die größte Erfahrung verfügen. In meinem Bekanntenkreis war man skeptisch und Argumente wie: "bitte nicht beide Augen gleichzeitig" oder "was ist, wenn du hinterher nicht mehr richtig sehen kannst" waren oft zu hören. Für mich war sonnenklar, dass ich einen refraktiven Linsentausch machen lassen werde und zwar beide Augen gleichzeitig. Ich war durch meine lange Recherchezeit so positiv gestimmt, dass ich mir ganz sicher war, das Richtige zu tun. Und ich glaube, dass diese Einstellung auch enorm wichtig ist. Am Gründonnerstag, 6. April, war es dann soweit: mein Mann fuhr mich nach Hamburg und ich habe mich wirklich schon tagelang darauf gefreut! Das EuroEyes Team in Hamburg ist unglaublich freundlich, fürsorglich und kompetent - an dieser Stelle noch einmal ein herzliches DANKESCHÖN dafür! Es wurden noch ein paar abschließende Untersuchungen gemacht und ich bekam die "Schiet-egal-Pille" kurz vor der OP. Eigentlich hätte ich die gar nicht gebraucht, denn ich war super entspannt und locker. Da man sich bei EuroEyes den Operateur aussuchen konnte, fiel meine Wahl auf Dr. Lerche. Ein wunderbar sympathischer Chirurg, der mir jeden Schritt bei der OP erläuterte. Ein richtig gutes Gefühl! Ich hatte bei meiner Recherche vom LensX - Laser gelesen und mich für diese Variante entschieden. Das kostet zwar etwas mehr, hat mich aber nach Ansicht mehrerer Videos komplett überzeugt. Präzision in Reinform. Zunächst wurde das rechte Auge operiert und ich habe mich gewundert, wie schnell das Ganze ging. Dann gab es ein paar Minuten Pause zur Entspannung und das linke Auge war dran. Ich hatte zu keinem Zeitpunkt auch nur ansatzweise Schmerzen! Nachdem beide Augen fertig waren, setzte ich die stylische EuroEyes Brille auf und wurde von der so netten OP-Schwester zu meinem Mann geleitet. Der bekam noch ein paar Instruktionen mich bitteschön zu verwöhnen :-) Ich konnte sofort sehen, wenn auch noch verschwommen, da Tropfen und Salbe in meinen Augen war. Was ich aber sofort bemerkte waren die Helligkeit und die intensiven Farben. Auf dem Nachhauseweg (3 Std.) hielt ich meine Augen vorwiegend geschlossen und ließ diesen Tag noch einmal Revue passieren. Bei einem Kaffee-Stopp konnte ich in der Bäckerei schon alles erkennen und selbst die Preisschilder lesen. Ich war komplett begeistert. Noch im Auto stellte ich die Anzeigegröße auf dem Smartphone auf ziemlich klein, da die vorher eingestellte Größe meiner Altersweitsichtigkeit geschudet war und mir nun riesig vorkam. Abends konnte ich sogar die allerkleinsten Buchstaben auf der Kosmetik lesen - was für ein Erlebnis! Am nächsten Tag waren wir wieder in Hamburg zur Nachuntersuchung und alles war bestens. Ich sehe in der Nähe PERFEKT, in der Weite ebenso. Der mittlere Bereich ist zwar gut zu erkennen, aber noch nicht sooo scharf. Ich bin mir allerdings ganz sicher, dass mein Gehirm diese sg. "Neuroadaption" in einigen Wochen mit Bravour hinbekommen hat. Klar, ich sehe abends noch Halos, aber das ist völlig normal und wird sich geben. Heute ist Tag 5 nach der OP und ich habe dank EuroEyes den perfekten Druchblick. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie glücklich ich bin und vor allem wie dankbar gegenüber diesem perfekten und professionellen Team. Könnte ich 10 Sterne vergeben, würde ich das sofort machen! Allen, die darüber nachdenken, sich Trifokallinsen einsetzen zu lassen, sage ich nur: MACHEN lassen. Es ist ein ganz neues Lebensgefühl und ich bedauere sehr, nicht eher diesen Schritt gemacht zu haben. Noch einmal ganz herzlichen Dank an das grandiose Team von EuroEyes!!!

Ich bin super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Aber nicht nur das Ergebnis, sondern auch die Betreuung und der Umgang mit mir war sehr beeindruckend und ließ von Anfang an keine Fragen offen. Es fing an mit der ersten super Beratung und den ersten Tests durch Frau Fritsch und endete mit der OP. Klar ist man aufgeregt etc., aber während der OP hat man keinerlei Schmerzen. Anschließend braucht man wirklich Ruhe und bei mir waren es ca. 4 Stunden brennende Augen, bis ich sie das erste mal wieder öffnen konnte. Aber sind wir mal ehrlich….4 Stunden brennende Augen ist ein akzeptabler Preis für ein Leben ohne Brille oder Kontaktlinsen. Ich war am nächsten Tag bei der Nachuntersuchung und hatte direkt 100% Sehkraft, so dass mir das Autofahren auch direkt einen Star nach der OP wieder erlaubt wurde. Damit habe ich echt nicht gerechnet. Ich würde mich bei EuroEyes jederzeit wieder in Behandlung begeben.
