Very Tasty and very creative high quality sushi. However, the prices are somewhat high and while general service is lovely, the cocky attitude of supervisors conveys a feeling of disgust concerning all guests. If you don't mind feeling like you are a nuisance for daring to come to a restaurant to eat, it's a good place with very decent food. But you are the kind of guest who likes to feel appreciated, you might want to look elsewhere.

Very Friendly and polite stuff nice atmosphere. Sushi could be served in a less clustered way, and for such a price it should either me 8 pieces for a portion or a better quality.

We felt very well taken care of. Great selection of different sushi, with something for everyone. Be it low-carb (califlower rice!), vegan or vegetarian. The staff was very attentive and in a great mood. Definitely won't have been my last visit.

We had our first date in 1999 when Raw Like Sushi was still in the Grindelallee. Back then it was already good. But now, almost 24 years later, their special makis are still the best we know in Hamburg (they beat Henssler in our opinion), and the owner is still a nice guy. And he still picks the right service staff. So, 5 out of 5, hands down.

I ordered crispy raw warm Maki, and California. Both were delicious.

The restaurant has some classic charm to it, if you like a theater-like atmosphere. The waitress was really lovely and pleasant. They offer a wide range of sushi, even keto sushi with cauliflower instead of rice. Vegan options are of course available. The dishes taste overall pretty good, except for the classic sushi types. Rice was a little mushy. The egg sushi wasn't soft and the egg layers don't stick to each other. Their own creations are, however, pretty tasty. The spring roll was extra cripsy with homemade wrap, which I really appreciate. Price is a bit high, but they also corporate with Taste of Hamburg for discounts. They also offer online service where you can order DIY-sushi to your door. Price is pretty high, but interesting concept and probably good for people who don't have access to good sushi in Germany.

Best sushi in years! Especially good were the vegan options that are more than just the desperate trys to go with something upcoming (compare maki rice with cucumber in other places to black roll with caramelized pistachios edamame fresh spinach pomegranate... They just have a real nice and big selection of good ingredients that is was a pleasure to go through their menu. Staff also very friendly! Hat a great evening and will definitely come back

Nice location, friendly & helpful staff. My partner ordered a bowl and I had a sushi menu. Both were not bad, but really disappointing. You immediately recognize it’s rather on the costly side, so expectations go up. Both dishes had no taste, everything tasted bland to both of us. A general feeling that everything, including the drinks, should cost max. half of the actual price. We thought maybe the ingredients are all high quality bio ingredients, but they didn’t taste like that to be honest. Good-quality fresh fish in sushi tastes deeper, stronger & just “fresh”, and unfortunately all the fish pieces we had tasted the same, like nothing. A home-made lemon 1L for 11 euros is simply inexcusable! Because it’s identical to what I used to make at home for cents. We won’t be going back.

They offer an Excellent Customer Service & Special Japanese Gourmets! We loved their number 83., 84., their Special Dessert, and Their Jasmin Tea!! All Highly Recommended to you too!

The location is beautiful, I would suggest especially the lounge area with comfortable sofas. Guys are very polite and nice. And the sushi? Sooooo lecker!

Perfect place to eat sushi and the lady she served was perfect and so polite. From welcoming to say good bye was amazing from her. The only negativ thing is no Mastercard valid. You need to have EC card or cash with you..

Amazing food and a lot of vegan options (sushi, starters, dishes and bentos - all vegan and vegetarian options marked as such). A bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

We celebrated our little one's birthday here and it was such a nice night. The staff were so nice and friendly. The sushi, the drinks and the dessert were all very delicious.
