I've been in the mood for turkish foods for sometime. We came across this restaurant soo suddenly and fell in love just like that. It is apparently one of the best turkish food in hamburg and it is really close to altona station. The food was really tasty just like the one I ate in turkey. The servers are really nice and you can ask for more bread and turkish cai tea for free. We will be visiting this restaurant again soon. :)

Amazing food and the restaurant is located right outside the railway station. The restaurant serves authentic Turkish delicacies, and they also offer a very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. The food is totally delicious and the portion size is big. The quantity, quality and the price of the food are perfect.

Hello, we are 3 girls from the Netherlands. We came here for a Harry Styles concert, but stayed for köz urfa. We stayed in Hamburg for 4 nights. The first day we came here we were so hungry and the first thing we saw was köz urfa, a light in dark times. We sat outside in the beautiful sun, they immediately gave us a menu with many options. We ordered and our food arrived in minutes. The food was AMAZING! Most delicious falafel we ever had, big portions and a very small price. It was the highlight of our day. The next day we went on a tretboat. During the tretboat adventure, the only thing we could think about was going back to köz urfa. We immediately went there when we stepped foot out of the tret boat. This time we decided to eat inside, even better! Beautiful ambiance and the sky on the ceiling is amazing. The service was perfect again, as was the food. Then we left again….sadly. The next day we went again, just for a drink. It was amazing, as always. In the 5 days we were in hamburg, the only thing we ate was köz urfa. Then sadly, the last day came around. We had to mentally prepare to say goodbye to this place, we planned our whole day around coming here for the last time. köz urfa will forever be in our hearts and we will never ever be the same. We love you. We will miss you. Until next time. Yours sincerely, Your number 1 fans❤️ (ps. go to the toilets for a pleasant surprise)

Literally the best Turkish food I’ve ever had. We’re only in Hamburg for the weekend and we’ll probably eat here all 3 nights- so good!

Great place to grab a quick bite, food is delicious, service is fast, ambience is nice inside but take out works just as well. Finishing touch is the Turkish tea served at the end of the meal

This place is the DREAM restaurant for anyone coming to Hamburg! Amazing food, wonderful service, and affordable food for the portion size! I had the Köz Urfa Plate, which is the best Turkish food I've had my whole life! It's also the best decorated of any Turkish place I've ever been to. Would absolutely recommend!

Nice place to eat when waiting for your train. Right outside the train station Altona next to the Intercity hotel. The people working there are professional and fast, not particularly friendly and welcoming, which is a shame, because the place is nice. Besides the typical Turkish meat dishes like kebab, there are also vegetarian dishes, which is very tasty. Exquisite: the Turkish mocha.

Food is good, almost all is meet. Prices 12-20€. Depends on how much hungry you are you can take one plate for 2 people. Design of the place is awkward to such extended that it's even good.

I only had 5 minutes left to catch my train and chose this place. They helped me instantly with my notification about the journey home. I am sure this is one of the best Döners in Hamburg! The bread was amazing and the ingredients all had their own bite and flavor. Big size and a good choice of 2 sauces. This is a real treat after a week of beer, booze, fish and the Reeperbahn. Until next time!

Had a kunefe, i had to ask them to add ice cream, normally it comes automatically as part of the dish. It was incredibly good. The dish is a sweet one normally, this one was like that too, a bit too sweet in my opinion, but it's a delight none the less.

Superb food and service. The waiter is always very friendly and responsive. The quantity is very satisfying and it’s a ideal choice for a starving stomach. Best of all it’s in a great location. Right outside the Hamburg altona station you’ll find the place, without even walking 100 meters from the station. From the central station takes a S bahn, 20 minutes and you’re there.

Large portions, very tasty and reasonable prices. we have been here a few times and there is always many guests which show the high quality of the turkish food they serve. You get time to enjoy your meal, eventhough there are people waiting for a table. The staff is fast and friendly. I like you can see the raw meat they will cook for you, when you enter the restaurant and walk past the Kitchen, you can see the quality.

Overall the best grilled middle east food on hamburg. I ordered their best menu, called aiueo and it was a blast the meat was very smoky and all of the vegetable is super fresh! The amount of the food is crazy even for me! We ordered 2 portion and shared for 4 people. Their spices was top notch and the place has this cozy ambient. Service is great they let you refill the bread as much as you want. I also ordered ginger tea, but it was just fine.

Delicious meal, we got a huge plate to share. I was going to say that it was a bit on the expensive side but they serve a lot of food, so it's fair.

We have eaten there several times and both the food and the service are excellent. It's a well-known hot spot in Hamburg Altona if you really want authentic Turkish or Anatolian food. All dishes are grilled or cooked in a stone oven and you can watch them being prepared if you like - open kitchen. The restaurant is always frequented by locals, which also speaks for the quality. We can only recommend the restaurant.

Don't you love it when haters eat their words? I lived in Hamburg in '83, and Turks were the refugees of the day (not well spoken of by the now AFD types). I'm sure most of those peeps are now eating their 1534'th döner. If they are, they should do it here. Bloody wonderful in every way. Makes me wish I lived here again, and able to watch hateful words washed away by great food from beautiful hearts.

Visited here last year and I can’t forget the food, food here is really amazing. Enough tables and a huge menu, can get busy here although the staff should give more attention, service was quick and friendly. Overall a great experience surely looking forward to visit here again in near future.

The Turkish restaurant is located in front of the railway station Altona. I ordered Pastrami Pide but the pastrami tasted like salami and rice pudding for dessert, I liked it but I prefer it less sweet. The portions are big and filling and the staff is friendly and offered us free traditional Turkish tea. They accept card payment.

The food was quite good & cheap comparing other shops. Friendly waters but a bit more busy against the amount of guests!

Best turkish restaurant I have ever been to. Outclasses even some actual turkish restaurants in Turkey. Food tastes awesome and nobody had anything bad to say about in our 30 people group. Desserts taste good too as well as the drinks.

Pretty good for a very good price. For €20 you get an absolute feast platter, almost too much to stomache Great meat, great quality, friendly service, debatable interior 🧐, definitely come again anyway

Very good place for meat and döner. The restaurant is quite big and the ambience is good. I had been here multiple times and have tasted their Pide, meat platter and döner kebab - all very delicious. The staff is friendly. They also offer take-away.

The place is bustling with customers when I visited for dinner, but thankfully Köz Urfa is huge with 2 main segments with generous amount of tables, so it wasn't difficult to find a place for a meal. The 2 main areas are connected by a dimly-lit, narrow "tunnel", where it's possible to be seated although personally I find the choice rather awkward. The establishment has an extensive menu; vegetarian option is available. There's television for those who wants to be entertained while having their meal. An alternative would be to watch the staff in-action, busy preparing meals in the open kitchen.

No wonder why it is always full! The food is simply amazing! This nice restaurant is located close to the Hamburg Altona train station. I would recommend the Urfa platter if you are not familiar with Anatolian food. The meat was tender, the portions very generous, the price quite okay and the staff friendly. What else do I need to say? A must when in Altona!
