4 star hotel with 5 star rooms. Lavish rooms, lange, impeccably clean and all expensive materials used. When you enter your room you're welcomed with some soft classical music to get you in the mood. Located in a nice area in Hamburg.

We came to Hamburg for a musical a s stayed for four night at the hotel. The hotel is located very central and close by the port, tram station and only 10 minutes away from the city centre. We had a penthouse on the 7th floor. It was very spacious, clean and absolutely stunning. The breakfast was great as well. Loved everything about this place. We had a great stay and great accommodation.

Beautiful decor. Walking distance to the waterfront. Top of the line food. Very comfy rooms.

A lovely hotel, well presented rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed here for a short work trip and was very impressed. The bar and restaurant are both excellent.

We only had 2 nights in Hamburg and staying at the Madison was wonderful. The location was so convenient to what we wanted to see and the staff were lovely. The room was a very good size and with the kitchenette facilities it was very comfortable. One of the most luxurious elements to the hotel was, believe it or not, the guest laundry. When you are travelling to many countries in a short amount of time, the luxury of being able to do your laundry in the hotel you are staying in cannot be underestimated. Highly recommend this hotel and when we return to Hamburg we will definitely choose to return to the Madison.

I stayed for five nights with my family. The location was excellent, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast was of high quality, and the rooms were comfortable and modern. The availability of laundry machines was a significant advantage for us.

The hotel has some good points, location, the room size, the standard of the hotel in general and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The hotel is not value for money when you can’t get a good night sleep.

Very rare hotel run by family offering excellent service and experience. The interior and design of the hotel are timlessly beautiful. Now days many hotel changes and follow the quick fast trends but this hotel has a history and spirit. Please keep it like this forever. Love.

very friendly staff. rooms clean and well presented. David Lloyd fitness pool, sauna etc is also excellent.

Location as a place to meet up for business or as a basis for seeing the city could not be better in Hamburg. (Private parking and EV chargers make visiting easy) Staff are very professional and attentive. Rooms bright and spacious. (Rituals as the hotel soap brand when I was there). Bar had a good range of drinks and good service with a nice outdoor area. Breakfast and dinner were both very good and the business lunch was excellent value. I would recommend this hotel for any purpose of it is in budget.

Great interior design. Very thoughtfully planned rooms with everything you might need, even for a slightly longer stay. Very nice staff. Good accessibility and support for wheelchair users.

What a great find this place turned out to be. A clean, large (even by North American standards), modern room in which everything worked (something not always guaranteed in older central Euro cities) especially the awesome push-button shower. ;-) The staff were fantastic -- helpful and friendly. Location is right in the thick of where you'll want to be if visiting this vibrant, fascinating, historic city. For easy eats, consider the nearby Portugese Quarter.

The staff is awesome and very helpful. the place is easily accessible by trains and taxi. Lots of beautiful building and heritage structure at walking distance. lovely place. rooms are excellent. I paricularly liked the fact that when I entered the room the radio jazz music was switched on automatically. gave me an instant mood lift from my 10 hour flight. the music is also audible in the bathroom as well...so even more better. rarity found this in any hotels so worth mentioning.🤗🤗

Nice hotel in a good location which provides ease of access to the city centre. After three stays here over a about 13 month period I've found the rooms somewhat noisy but I'm a light sleeper (street/outside noise). Staff are accommodating and friendly, they've generally corrected problems quickly. Maintenance (minor) and housekeeping consistency (bathroom cleanliness and removing partially used amenities from previous guests) let this hotel down. Breakfast has a broad selection which I found to be good value.

Very nice hotel, located just 15 minutes walk from the city center. Friendly staff. Spacious and modern room. When you get in, the lights and the music turn on, even in the bathroom. You can choose the pillow you prefer from a good range of options available. In the business room the minibar is included with a wide offer of food and drinks. Breakfast various and fresh. Both international and continental.

Absolutely amazing! I liked everything on the hotel!! The reception staff were great! The public areas were super clean. The breakfast was great. We also had lunch twice there as it was one of the best places to eat. The rooms were big and comfortable. Very clean! Coffee making facilities are available. The bar staff were very nice, polite and friendly! We really enjoyed our stay there and will choose the same hotel on our next business trip to Hamburg!

I booked the Madison because of the great reviews and compared to other top hotels the room rate was reasonable. It’s easy to reach via u/s-Bahn. A lot of attractions are in walking distance. The hotel is super clean, my room was big and bright with a view of the Michel. So nothing to complain, would come back. And if u like tea (like me) housekeeping will give you lots of tea.

The hotel is very much like many other “standard type” hotels, but everything was just better than we were used to. Large quiet rooms, excellent beds and bathroom and good service. We tried the restaurant for the included breakfast which was okay but probably something we would skip another time

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and when we first went in to our room classical music came on and we loved that!! The room was so clean and the AC worked perfectly. The toddler was very excited about her rubber ducky, Max. The restaurant serves amazing and delicious food and the bar has great drinks! The location is also perfect for the harbor or for a quick hop on the public transportation. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone and stay here if we go to Hamburg again!!
