One the worst restaurant service I got in my life! The waiters were very rude. Our terrible experience got started right entering the restaurant where the waiter stopped us with a very unfriendly tone as asked us what are we doing here!? He was almost yelling at us. He mixed up the table we reserved he was yelling at us for no reason. We were 8 people and arrived in different times but we had the same terrible experience by receptionist. We tried to forget about that unpleasant experience thinking that he might have had a very bad day. But the whole night service was awfully obnoxious. Other two waiters were shouting at us in a very angry way to deliver the dish to the right person at the table. One of the waiter who was extremely rude even did not were here face masks properly only covering partially his mouth. We politely asked him to wear his mask properly and he refused!!!!! The food is nothing special considering the price and the sushi’s are coming with so much of mayonnaise!!!! I would never get back to them would not recommend them.

Sushi looked good but the quality was pretty bad. Loud, expensive and a bit fake. One ok thing was ceviche, but still not up to Hamburg standard. Overall we were a quite disappointed

The appetizers were amazing, but the main courses and sushi platters were unimpressive. The duck was bland, while the ribs were full of fat. The sushi themselves should have been the stars, but the restaurant used way too much rice, so they didn't taste of anything. The service was also very slow - we waited half an hour for the appetizers then over 45 minutes for the main courses. At least the staff was very polite and took the platters off the bill.

Really enjoyable place with great food options

Special ambiance, innovative and delicious dishes and the service is a super harmony of so warm, friendly and also highly professional. Thank you for such a special dinner.

Honestly the best Sushi I have eaten so far. It's on the higher end of the prices range, but worth every Cent. If you want to know how amazing Sushi can taste, you should give this place a try. The Service was impeccable and the interior really beautiful. Without question 5 out of 5 stars!

4 stars for the look, between 1 & 2 for food & service in view of the price you pay. Certainly a cool location, impressive metropolitan vibe, nice bar, but… the service was somewhat pushy and overselling, and the food is really not up to the level. While they don’t claim to be an authentic sushi/Asian cuisine place but rather a fusion place, the fusion really doesn’t work out here. You pay a lot for dishes that look cool but simply lack the sophistication in taste, best example is the taco sushi attempt (which merely is dry & chewy on the taco, stuffed with rice and thereby overpowering all the sushi…). There’s more dishes like this that want much but don’t deliver much on the taste. Needs some upgrade in the kitchen.

Excellent service and food, zero complaints!

Have been recently there and was quite underwhelmed. The staff was nice, the location was kind of relaxed an chill but what about the essential part, food? For Germans it might be suitable, if they have never been abroad but for international guests, this one would be an expensive disappointment. Good sushi in Germany still remains very rare... And by the way, a cocktail with cheap honey is quite bold for an price of almost 10€ a piece. Tdlr- more shiny than diny- for this price you can fly to London an back and would still have had better sushi for a third of the price.

Very good, though portions in the shared menu could be a bit bigger. Staff is also very nice and firendly, we found the ice tea drinks delicious. The location directly by the water is perfect if you want to enjoy ghe dinner outside.

They should not label themselves as Nikkei cuisine if they are not. It's a disservice and misuse of the origin of this cuisine and a lack of innovation. It's truly an insult to the entire Nikkei community out there. It's sad and completely lacking in innovation. Google the concept next time! Poor restaurant experience! The food here was a disappointment.

Had one of the best dining experiences ever here; the serving team were friendly and helpful and helped us to have a great dinner! The food was simply amazing! Would strongly recommend people going here!

Very delicious food (from everything we tried). Probably my least favorite were the ribs. Good atmosphere, we had to a wait a bit too long to give our order that’s the only reason I gave 4 stars for service. The staff however were all nice and pleasant. Definitely will go back!

Superb and high quality food with great atmosphere and unfortunately a very slow service. ~Pros~ • the food was excellent. We had edamame, sushi, and chocolate cake - and we loved everything. • reservations can be done online and are very uncomplicated. • we sat outside next to the water. The view and atmosphere was lovely. • very pretty and modern decorations, and table settings. ~ Cons ~ • not cheap. • our waiter was very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately super slow. We waited over 15min just to order our drinks, and waited more than 20min to get and pay the bill… If the restaurant was packed, we would’ve understood. But especially in the beginning all waiters just stood together and had a casual conversation with each other, instead of taking care of the guests, that all waited to order. 🙃

Food was amazing! Hats off to the chef. The quality of the salmon was top notch and also made sense given the price. 5/5. I had the salmon sashimi and the chicken tempura (in pic) and it was enough for one person. I also had a nice desert (definitely recommend the chocolate lava cake). Service, however was subpar. Whilst the entrance staff were nice enough, most of the waiters seemed to be students (which I don't have a problem with, but for the price I expected them to be given better service training). 3/5

Been here a few times and the food is yummy! The prices are a bit high but worth it depending on what you order. However the service could use some work. They are very slow to take your food and drink order; yet will walk by your table 15 times without stopping. Overall a good place to eat though.

What a “black heaven “ Everything was amazing! We reserved a table for two and it was only available in 8:30 wich was fine for us! A little bit crowded the tables for the twos but the atmosphere was great! Everything in black! Even the toilets! Even the toilet paper ! I really love that kind of style in modern restaurants! Sushi was the best part... fresh , tasty , amazing... our service was polite and in good mood and she explained everything! Prices are super normal for sushi wine and cocktails! Keep it earthy to make more young people to come! Definitely an “instagram friendly” place! We enjoyed really our experience n definitely going back.... keep up... we want that kind of places in boring gastronomy of Hamburg !!! 👏🏼

The food was so delicious and different. A very unique sushi experience that’s nothing like regular sushi. But it was also very expensive. The staff was pretty rude and very busy and it wasn’t the best service. We had to wait a long time for our table even though we had booked one. And overall the service wasn’t that great, which is disappointing for the price you pay for a nice restaurant experience

Amazing place!! Luxury style! So beautiful presentation of dishes. Food was really nice, but the place for “one time visit”. Prices very democratic. So upset about staff there, hope they will be more friendly and attentive.

Service was a bit overbearing with asking too often if everything was OK. But they did try to make the experience as comfortable as possible, so it was "ok". The food was not good, the fish quality was mediocre at best as the tuna tasted the same as the salmon (which is watery and nothing else), and most of the fish was masked with unfitting flavours that were too overbearing. The asking price was also too high - I wasn't full after ordering a Chef Special AND a roll with 6 pieces and I paid 60+€ for my whole experience. The decor was pretty nice though, but ultimately it was simply too expensive for too low quality Sushi with low quality ingredients.

The food is very good. But it took very long time since we took our table until somebody came to bring us a menu.

Modern place with its own unique character. Amazing food, super nice service and a great view and atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend. You should definitely come check this place out.

Gian - best barkeeper ever! The drinks menu is customized by him and he is just full of surprises! The bar is the spot to be ;)
