Very nice park. Super clean. Paved trails. All of the baseball and soccer fields are very well maintained. They have a nice dog park area which i will have to bring my dogs back to try out. A nice sized playground for kids. There is a large lake with a gazebo to sit in and relax as well. There is a roller hockey rink and a larger skate park too

Beautiful park with lots of bike trails. There's something for everyone. Most importantly it honors our veterans. Planes, tanks, helicopters from various wars. Memorial's that will move you. They also have different festivals throughout the year. Killer fireworks on 4th of July. Today was spent on the other side of park. Skateboard park, dog park, tennis courts, baseball fields, bathrooms. This park has it all! Electric unicycling is awesome at this park!

We spent 4 hours walking, chatting and enjoying our pre-packed lunches. One of the nicest park settings in Central Jersey.

Beautiful park with paved trails. Nice playgrounds for the kids to enjoy, picnic areas with grills available. Some areas were flooded when we visited but still able to enjoy the park.

This was a great park! I wanted to have a picnic for my boyfriend and ended up here. I hired a friend who does picnics @lavishpicnicsllc and she set this lovely scene up.

This place is massive and I feel like I come across a new area every time I come here. There's so much to do: Sports fields for anything you can think of, a gigantic lake, nature trails and preserves, a dog park, children's playgrounds, and more. Also the gigantic airplane being displayed at the front of the park is so, so cool. The paths are paved and even so anyone can access the park. I love coming here and exploring around on the weekends.

Any land put aside to pay respect to our Veterans is 5 star automatically. Seems pretty well kept and some amazing static displays and memorials.

We go to vets park often because it's so open and there's plenty of things to do there. We love when they hold events there around the holidays like Halloween and Christmas. Whether it's a birthday party, an event, or just us going there for fun, there's no way you can get bored at this park. It's completely free. Keep in thought though, sometimes it's hard to find parking.

I've been coming here my whole life and the only time I don't enjoy it is when it's too crowded. My favorite time to come is at an off time when I can sit by the lake and watch the drama with all the waterfowl. There's always something going on with them. Looking at the map, I see sections of the park I've never even been to. The sports area, the dog park, skate park.... It's cool there is so much available. I enjoy the lake and the woods.

Awesome trails for walking or bike riding! There is also a beautiful lake that I enjoy taking my son to.

Fantastic park! We've so far only seen the north side of it, but we really enjoy it! Beautiful, mature trees provide ample shade in the picnic areas. There are several playgrounds for the kids to play on. It seems well maintained as well.

There are many different parts to explore and walk around. Various paved paths that go through some beautiful areas, and some more dirt-road paths to explore as well that lead to feeling more connected to nature (in my experience) The park has plenty of wildlife you'll often see when walking around (deer, squirrels, different bird species, and rabbits) and if you're by the lake, you'll spot herons and geese. It's pretty well maintained. Not too much litter really, and there's lots of garbage cans for people to dispose of trash.

I visit this park quite frequently having been a Hamilton resident for quite some time now. This park is great for everything. A quick walk or a few miles doesn’t matter. It’s also almost always clean and lots of animals to see.

This year, 2022, Veterans Park celebrates its 35th anniversary; it was inaugurated in 1977 to honor the war veterans of Hamilton Township. With its vast area featuring walking paths, hiking trails, exercise pit-stops (various fitness instructions displayed at each of the stops), bicycle lanes, gazebos, children playground, forestall and picnic areas, as well as the picturesque and serene Robert G. Martin's lake with its geese and ducks, among other attractions, Veterans Park is accessed through its 4 entraces, the West (on Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Rd), North (on Klockner Rd), East (on Yardville-Hamilton Square Rd), and South (on Kuser Rd). Various military monuments and obelisks commemorating the US war veterans are installed at park's respective entrances. The park is dog friendly. However, we (as the proud owners of 5 dogs) were dismayed to see the lack of consideration on the part of many of a dog owner; the walking paths are often covered with uncurbed excrements - attention is required not to step into one. The park is doing a great job through its bird and wildlife preservation efforts. Bat boxes are installed throughout the park. Very good signage helps visitors to navigate easily. Veterans Park offers ample parking at each of its entrances.

My family and I participated in the Walk to Fight Suicide today hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The walk was at Veterans Park which reminded how beautiful this park is. Felt like I was in a movie walking the trails, seeing all of the colors on the trees, and leaves falling. It was breath taking. Most successful walk ever for this chapter and a gorgeous back drop to bring attention to a cause so important, mental health!

Fantastic park with a plethora of activities for families and solo adventures. The paddle boat rentals are nice. There is a splash park for the kids who line up when it opens on a hot summer day. Plenty of playground equipment in good shape and decent bathrooms nearby.

So beautiful park! There is a lot of things to explore here. Fields are well-maintained, lake is amazing. A lot of restrooms and they are clean. I am often visiting this park with my dogs because dog area here is really nice. So beautiful and calm place.
