Came highly recommended by local drinkers & we certainly enjoyed their beers. A lot of the beers were can pours though, would've preferred draught, but there seemed to be an issue on the day we visited. Will certainly visit again to try kore of their beer

Nice little local brewery to check out. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Clean industrial decor with touches of greenery which was pleasant. The exterior has a tented area with several tables as well. Enjoyed the beers available but would enjoy more snacks to eat with the beer.

Another awesome visit. This one paired with a pop up event by Chez Dine. Consistently great beer. Really enjoyed the Light Ray session IPA and the new Love Drug Nut Porter. Finally got to try the White Winter Stout. Great beers, friendly staff and a fun vibe. Love all these local breweries!!!

Popped in for a couple beverages to take away for the weekend. Nice location, clean. There wasn’t anything on the beverage menu that appealed to me but I bought a couple cans any way… sours aren’t my thing. But seems like a good stop for those that enjoy

We rented out Grain and Grit for our wedding reception and we were so delighted with how everything turned out. Hannah, Emma and the rest of the Grain & Grit team were absolutely phenomenal to work with before, during and after our wedding reception. Planning and coordinating with Hannah was a breeze- she had so many great suggestions from vendors to how the venue should be set up, and made us feel calm & confident the whole time leading up to our event. Leading up to our wedding day I sent many (stress the manyyyyyyy) emails with questions and Hannah was always quick to reply with an answer or solution! On the day of, Emma and the rest of the team were extremely helpful with setting up, moving things around, and serving our guests. They were quick, efficient and worked on the fly when timelines needed to be adjusted. Our guests were thrilled with the selection of beer and just how quickly they were served. Wrapping things up the following day was a breeze, the G&G team had us all organized and ready to pack up. We know that we made the best possible decision when we chose Grain & Grit as our reception venue, and we will always recommend them to anyone looking to host an event, big or small. Grain & Grit will forever hold a special place in our hearts! <3

Its not good feeling....I have been treated differently this time..may be the way I dressed my skin colour, I visited on last Sunday June 25, 2023 around 1:30 pm two people serving customers.... I have been ask weird questions and not even offered to taste before purchase but still I pick one and moved out as quickly I can. But also like to acknowledge my previous experiences with this place was amazing always welcoming staff/ owner with smiling faces offered to taste before I finalize my purchase good quality beers. But last Sunday experience was different and made me uncomfortable 😣

Greta spot to visit for a pint and hang out. Great staff on hand, and some board games if you're going to be there for a little longer. Small and intimate, so you won't be overwhelmed with blaring noise from other or from music over the speakers. May 7, 2023 Update Brewery remains 5 stars in my opinion. Hosting a number of family friendly events (child and animal families alike), they're a welcoming space that continues to offer a selection of quality made beers.

Had such a lovely first visit here during one of their Babies & Brews events. Such a welcoming space for everyone. Plus, the beers were excellent, especially the Winter Stout!

Wanted to try a new craft brewery and this place is top of the list. Met part owner Joe and he is an excellent stand up guy. More importantly though, the 8 beers on tap are all great. Can't wait for the summer when the garage doors can open. Great job on the brewery.

We had our wedding here. The night was spelended, venue was excellent, the people were fantastic, the vibe was vibing. Hannah was a joy to work with and made an anxious bride at ease with her calm energies. I still remember that night as feeling wholly intoxicated but parts blessed. Cheers to you G+G. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent beer and high customer care. In the attached picture our little yorkie looks on anticipating her own personal bowl of water that is being brought to her. A must visit microbrewery!

We went here last summer for a date night and can't wait to go again! I'm pretty picky in my beer but, found one I loved and even bought some to take home afterwards! We had a nice evening with a great outdoor atmosphere. Service was wonderful and answered any questions we had. They don't really have food choices just a couple finger munchies, but they'll allow you to order from others and get it delivered which is a neat idea! At the time I didn't realize they were dog friendly until I read other reviews but I'm excited for the option to bring my pup with me next time!

One of our favourite spots in Hamilton! Not only is it beautiful, the staff and owners are probably the friendliest people in the city. Amazing beer, rotating taps which is fun and baby friendly which we are so thankful for!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ With Hamilton Day 2021 being last Saturday I just had to support and dine at my favorite locally owned and operated business in Hamilton Shoeless Joes. Love this place for an evening out. The vibe is awesome. Great music and sports galore on the big screens. IT is always such a great place to dine...
