Perfect stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and made out stay so easy for a super short stay just traveling, they booked the cab for the morning and made sure every was ready for the morning it was great! Only a tiny downfall, the room didn't have a microwave, but they had one in the lobby we used to heat up some breakfast. The bistro was a definite miss. We should of ordered delivery. It was $40 for 2 school cafeteria meals, without drinks. It wasn't terrible, but I would suggest delivery if you want a real meal. 😉..

Hotel staff was super friendly. The breakfast food was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Conveniently located to restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice room and the staff was fantastic! We even extend our stay an extra night instead of moving hotels across town because the staff and room were so nice.

Originally checked in Tues, slept in my room and realized there was no heat, the internet wouldn't connect to the TV and the shower had the coldest water. I mentioned it the next day and spoke to the nicest person, she upgraded my room and even threw breakfast in on top of it. Where they lacked with the room they certainly made up with service. I just wish I had gotten the person's name.

Sparklingly clean, tidy, attractive, with lots of amenities like an exercise room and whirlpools, and the conference rooms are very efficient and usable. The food service for our huge group was also excellent. This is exactly the sort of place you would hope to find when you're enjoying a large conference with coworkers. Staff, of course, is accommodating and all-round superb.

Was a lovely stay. Everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and there was immediate hot water.

Room was nice and clean, slept very good. What I do not enjoy is the fact we have to pay for breakfast and how expensive each selection was. Hotels with free breakfast are always 🤌.

Just started my 40 Over 40 Luxury Magazine Campaign and needed a place that would be great for a photoshoot. I loved starting off the ladies in their dress in the courtyard. The Marriott has done a great job with the waterfalls, bridge and a cute water feature outside. The flowers also work for some great photo opportunities. Now in the suite it was spacious. I love that I have one area for some couch shots. One area for some bedroom shots. The jacuzzi can be used dry or filled. There is something about a milk bath shot that allows you to show just what you want. I love the glass showers that allow you to spray some water on the outside and shoot through the water droplets. I have another shoot booked for tomorrow and cannot wait to shoot there again.

Room was clean and comfy. We were five and before arrival called and asked for extra bed. We have been told that this won't be a problem. Once arrived, we have been told that there is no such option. We said that we called before and that was specifically said that there is no problem. The receptionist than promptly checked for a possible solution and moved us to a room with a couch that can be opened into a bed. It would have been great to have a good breakfast at the place as part of the room rate and not as an additional payment in the hotel bar. We didn't try it as no people were doing that and we were afraid that the quality won't be good The location is in a commercial area and driving to everywhere is required

Went to a wedding here on the weekend... what a gem of a find. Who knew there was a beautiful courtyard with a waterfall and a huge reception room in here? I live 5 minutes from this place and would definitely recommend it for a wedding. I was pleasantly surprised. Bar was huge with top shelf selection, and the meal was typical wedding food. We had a great night

We had a work event there, early morning and then do to an intense storm, we were there all evening. I am not sure what the gentleman's name was, but he was incredibly attentive and helpful. Not only did he facilitate our work event room, but later on worked the restaurant area and further continued his amazing customer service skills. We very much enjoyed our time here. Great staff!

Staff was fabulous, rooms clean, very nice lobby and bar. Had a birthday black Cherry old fashioned which was amazing! I wish the pool and jacuzzi were larger. About 20 kids in there and not a lot of room. Smaller than an average back yard pool. Overall though, a classy place to stay.

In Hamilton for a week for work. Nice room and slept well. Staff was great to talk with and very helpful. Clean room and hotel with a nice lobby and bistro. Enjoyed my breakfast before heading out in the morning and had dinner there one night, limited selection but satisfying so I didn't have to walk around to find other places to eat. There are lots around and it conveniently located close to the highway.

Was in town for an event. Room was spacious, well laid out, clean and had plenty of towels. This hotel also has forgone the typical hotel toiletries and refills larger bottles provided in the shower. One less thing to pack! The lobby is large, well lit and welcoming and has a stunning garden space through the back windows.

We love this hotel and have stayed a few times, as Hamilton is my hometown and it has easy access to everything. The rooms are always clean, modern and cozy. Zero issues with that. However! We specifically booked this again, for the indoor pool and hot tub. We stayed four days. And you can imagine our disappointment when we saw the “pool out of order” sign on the door four days straight. When asking reception staff, we were told “the guy that was supposed to come before the long weekend, they never came”… and they don’t know when they will get it in order. No estimate? Nothing?! A hotel?! Can’t call an after hours place that works the long weekends? It was the long weekend you should know better to get that pool in order asap. You don’t have that extra money to spend on a different “pool guy”?! However, we were told the ridiculous option…. if you cross the super busy upper James street and venture to the right, there’s a hotel (that I’d you’re not from Hamilton you wouldn’t see it right away) and we can use their pool. They just need to call ahead and let them know. I’m sorry, that doesn’t fly. You’re telling me I have to go across the busy street, swim, cross upper James wet or wet in my car then come back in through the lobby? Very inconvenient. Not a good option. I would’ve preferred if they would’ve let guests that were checking in that weekend know, ahead of time through an email or a quick call—that their pool was out of order. We checked in on Saturday and out on Wednesday. This was a long stay. We had a right to know it was out of order. Because you go on vacation, hoping to relax and enjoy that pool during your downtime and you are told to go across the street? I was too embarrassed to ask for a discount or what could I be compensated…. but in hindsight, we paid a lot of money for no pool and no hot tub, and I should’ve been given some compensation.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. Have gone to this location for meetings and am appreciative of the kind staff that is very welcoming. The conference room is clean and the breakfast and dinner served there was delicious.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Marriott's Hotel in Hamilton I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at Marriott's hotel in Hamilton, and I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. From the moment we entered the room, we were greeted by a strong and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke that lingered throughout our stay. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or aired out before our arrival. To add insult to injury, there were no bottles of water provided in the room. We expected at least a basic amenity like this to be available, but unfortunately, it was missing. When we called the front desk to inquire about it, they informed us that we could purchase water from them at an exorbitant price. Not only did they fail to provide the basic necessities, but they also attempted to overcharge us for something as essential as drinking water. Furthermore, the front desk staff's behavior was unprofessional and intrusive. Despite having a confirmed checkout time, we were bombarded with incessant phone calls every 15 minutes, reminding us of our departure time. It was beyond irritating and disrupted our peace and privacy. On top of that, they even had the audacity to come to our door and knock, disturbing us noticeably. This lack of respect for our privacy was truly unacceptable. Lastly, the front desk staff's demeanor left much to be desired. Not once did they offer a friendly greeting or bid us a pleasant farewell. Even though we maintained our patience and did not complain about the numerous issues we faced during our stay, they failed to provide even the most basic level of hospitality. Overall, our experience at Marriott's hotel in Hamilton was nothing short of a nightmare. The room smelling like cigarettes, the absence of water bottles, the overcharging, the incessant and intrusive calls from the front desk, and the lack of common courtesy from the staff made our stay incredibly unpleasant. I would strongly advise against choosing this hotel if you value cleanliness, basic amenities, privacy, and a friendly atmosphere.
