My favorite Sub place! I've tried Vegetarian Sub from this place which cost less than $6, and it has a great taste with lots of options of sauces/toppings. Staff is always polite and restaurant from inside is always clean. Only drawback is : NO DINE IN & NO APPLE PAY but I(most people)can work it around and yet I recommend this place very strongly.

Great Place for A Sub. Got the Hero Sub . Double Meat .Cheese Everything. It Was one of The Best Subs I had For awhile. The Girl Behind the Counter was very Friendly and Polite. Worth the time if you want a Great Sub.

Came to Hamilton for work and all the locals pointed me here for lunch. Place had a real family feel to it and the sub was simply classic. I tried their Apollo sub and it was perfect.

Everything was amazing, the lady that made our subs was super friendly and clearly cares about making the customer happy! I’m not sure her name but I mistakenly took a picture of her when trying to take a pic of the menu. She’s got dark brown hair we were comparing to black. 10/10 will 100% be coming back just for the great service :))

Messiest sub I've ever had. Should be served in a bowl with a fork and knife. Half of it ended up in my lap. The meat they use is cheap and low quality. Staff at this particular location all seem to have the same attitude problem, as if you're inconveniencing them when you order a sub. They like to slap the sub together as fast as they can with no regard for quality even if you're the only person in the store. Also not a fan of being charged extra for pickles. It's a pretty standard topping. But this place insists on giving you a whole pickle on the sub (way too much) and they cut it way too thick. Like a full cm per slice.

We ordered two torpedo subs Sunday, October 1 got to work for lunch to eat our subs. The ham tasted off when I called the next day. They asked me if I still had the sub and which I’m thinking well that’s 12 hours later no I don’t have the sub it’s obviously thrown in the garbage And without proof of the sub I get nothing accomplished so I think their customer service is not the greatest mind you I will see. I’ve never had a problem with their subs before, but I am behold my problem did arise. They pretty much close the door in my face so I haven’t said this I will no longer be a Mikes patron. I will find other place to get a good sub.

If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich look no further quality and quantity a staple of great subs on Ottawa Street for years this place has fed our families appetites for well over 20 years. Cheers

It's a great cheap sub. The prices, in this day and age of expensive food that used to be reasonably priced, are actually surprisingly reasonable. The ingredients on the subs are high end but they are good and filling and the service comes with a smile!

Always good, never an issue always fresh buns prices are great. Staff is always friendly. One thing that caught my eye was that they always wash their hands before making your food.

Best subs ! Peter provided such good service he brought our bag out to the front to personally deliver it. Will definitely be coming back. Peter turned a routine stop for lunch into a warm memorable experience :)

Always great cold cut sandwiches. Very reasonable prices and sandwich sizes are filling. The store can get full fast. So wait your turn and be polite. The people working the counter are also very polite and kind. Id reccomend this after a long day or a simple lunch.

I was excited to try the subs here however the experience was completely underwhelming. The mixed subs were 3/10 at best. Wouldn’t dine there again especially since there are so many great sub shops in Hamilton. The service could be a lot friendlier.

I mean, you're not going here for atmosphere but the lighting is way harsh, Tai Not my preferred sub shop in Hamilton... Mainly because they charge extra for pickles. It's a good pickle but still.

As the website isn't working I have to leave my review here... I've been coming to Mike's Subs for as long as I can remember 20+ years... Tonight we had the worst customer service experience leaving us shocked at what happened and had a very awkward and tense interaction. My sister and I came into the shop at just after 5pm this evening; there were no other customers and the two staff were chatting. I greeted them and asked how they were. They both looked at us then turned back to each other and continued talking without greeting or acknowledging us. At this point I looked at and gave my sister a look like "is this for real"? The lady working must have seen the look I gave and told the other guy to take our order. She proceeded to go out back and started banging things around sounding like she kicked an empty bucket and was slamming the hotel pans around. This young lady really needs a speaking to about customer service. As someone who is always mindful of service staff and I try to make our interaction as pleasant as possible and ask how their day is going and to get that kind of treatment all because this worker was upset that I showed the shock on my face was really upsetting as I've never had an issue with this location in all the years coming here for our favorite subs. Very disappointing.
