A great spot for vegan food! I absolutely loved the jackfruit kimchi panini and the patatas bravas was a good portion. I’d say it’s a little more on the pricey side for some of the items, but they are quite tasty.

Wow! What a treat! We stopped in for lunch and were all incredibly impressed. We first tried the Chik'n Waffles, and wow! The flavours were there, the textures were there, it was so flavourful and delicious. I'm not usually one for vegan meats, but this one was so good, I'd for sure order it again. Next was the Cauliflower Wings, and they were so delicious, the breading was so light and crispy, they were definitely a table favorite! Our other dish was the Grilled 'Cheez' this was the only one that didn't hit quite as hard with us. The cashew cheez wasn't too flavourful and the smoky flavours, and caramelized onions just weren't really there. It was definitely still good, but it didn't hit the mark quite as well as the other dishes. The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was clean the staff was super kind and pleasant as well! We will definitely be back. The only downfall this place had was that its an older building and either doesn't have or doesn't use a/c, so the air was sticky and humid while sitting down. It wasn't overwhelming, but it also wasnt an overly hot day, so take that into account if you are planning to sit down for your meal. We will most definitely be back to try more of 5he menu!

The green bar has been good source of consistent positive high-quality customer service and healthy option from appetizers to main alternative courses to desert. One thing I love the most are all option of their smoothies and drink option menu. I will come be sad and leave with a huge smile on my face all because their staff treats everyone equitable. This is my first time trying the Chic Avocado option breakfast sandwich and believe me, if heaven had a formula for greatness on this earth you will find it all right here at Green Bar. Phenomenal Food. Phenomenal Staff. Believable experience in every bite and sip. More stars? Yes Please!! 🍾😀

Try the Pasta Bolognese! One can taste all the flavors of this dish; onions, peppers, and Italian spices. Vegan ricotta cheese was a nice tasty touch (don’t usually go for the vegan cheeses, but this one was so good with the dish!). Side salad was fresh, fresh, fresh! Macaroons were chocolatey & coconutie goodness!

Terrific food. Friendly staff. One of the best vegan burgers I've had, and I've had many. A+!

For a place called Green Bar, I have to open with the fact that I was super surprised that my dine-in order came with my smoothie in a plastic cup and with a plastic straw. That aside, it was a very good espresso smoothie! I enjoyed the bowl (pictured below) but did not love the falafel 🥙 I will definitely come here again for a quick and healthy meal, and would recommend it to others for the same!

We simply went for smoothies and it was a great experience. We got two smoothies. Stop, drop, and detox and Espresso Yourself. Both good but we preferred espresso yourself more. Service was good as well. Would recommend to check it out, didn’t try anything in the menu so we’ll save that for next time!

I love having this place in our city, and enjoyed it over the years.. however, the quality has gone down. Today, I ordered the super OG bowl - was NOT GOOD and over priced for what we got. I asked for less rice but the bowl was almost all rice and very little veggies! The falafel wraps were small but were tasty. It looked like very little effort or care went into it. I’m not sure if I will return. :)

I ordered the Pasta Bolognese and the side Sweet Potato. The sweet potato tasted like it was seasoned with salt and pepper, which is fine but I was hoping for a little more flavour. The pasta bolognese just had a tomato flavour to it. This was an Uber eats order.

I had brunch at the Green Bar on September 12, 2023. I treated myself to the Bayfront Breakfast - home fries (the best I've ever had in my entire life), tofu scramble, and tempeh 'bacon'. It also came with toast and fruit compote which I just didn't want. It was delicious!! A huge portion. They have an extensive menu. The staff were fantastic and really went out of their way to confirm my allergies and make sure I felt comfortable ordering. The restaurant was very comfy, relaxing, and clean looking. I can't wait to visit Hamilton another time so I can eat at the Green Bar again :)

Big shout out to the Green Bar for the epic nutritious and delicious plant based food. This isn’t junk food veganism, and bless that! We were sublimely delighted to stop in twice and were met with wonderful smiles ‘n service. The food was heavenly, and the juices pure bliss! Thank you for all the soulful LOVE, it truly is the most important ingredient!

I’ve tried almost every vegan restaurant in Hamilton and then I thought to myself, why haven’t I ever been to green bar? Went out for lunch and tried the Seitan chick’n burger and it instantly made me regret never trying this place after being in Hamilton for so long. The panini bread was fresh and aromatic, along with crisp cucumber and spinach to compliment the Seitan that wasn’t too greasy but exactly the texture you’d want for fried chick’n. I love the aspect that it comes with a side, in which I got the marinated tofu that was super good. It carries its flavour super well and I really wanna know how they make it! Price friendly too and I will definitely be back to have some more great vegan food!

Not impressed. I got a mango and strawberry little’r smoothie ($8.95) which wasn’t bad. I got a Pineapple Kimchi Bowl ($14.95), but literally there was no kimchi in it. It was half steamed veggies, and all rice and pineapple. The tofu scramble had no flavour, and there was barely any other veggies. It had a few diced red peppers but it was mostly just rice. The food was underwhelming and bland. Definitely not worth the price. Not to mention the long wait time. It took almost 30 minutes for my food, so ridiculous. My first and last visit.

Excellent food. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Delicious and filling. I loved the black bean burger. Was still feeling full at dinner. Returned next day for a smoothie while in town. Nice decor and relaxed vibe. Would eat here again without hesitation.

I want to love this place. I am a huge smoothie person and I would likely be here daily since I live so close by… unfortunately I find the smoothies to be lacking... You can see the water and greens separately in the green smoothie even when freshly made. It's like a glass of green water with kale flakes. I love kale, and I love green smoothies, but I have never experienced anything like this when paying for smoothies. I have also had at least 10 of them, because I am desperate for smoothies, and they are consistently made this way. edit: I have tried some of the other food, and enjoyed it a lot! We did order some soup the other night, and the to-go bowl was about 2/3 filled, but the soup itself tasted good.
