Met up with a friend for lunch. As a vegan she loved that she could order anything on the menu. Delicious Anti Warrior Burrito and Chicken Salad Wrap bowl, followed by ice cream! Also took home some cookies!Friendly staff. Great place.

The most delicious burritos I've ever had! 🤤 The staff is lovely, the prices are totally reasonable and did I mention their food is delicious? Highly recommend going here.

My Fiancee and I tried this place for the first time, and I have no idea how I didn't know about this place before. Their food is the epitome of comfort food. I had their specialty, the Original Vegan Pizza Pocket, and if you can't already tell by the picture it was the size of my hand stretched out and as heavy as a loaf of gluten-free bread. Absolutely stuffed with cheese and pepperoni, the crust is flaky and absolutely divine. They have some gluten-free things on their menu, including deserts and some tasty salads, but if GF isn't something you need they have an extensive menu for any vegan to be excited about. I'll be dreaming about having this pizza pocket again, I will absolutely go back to get another!

Tried for first time yesterday with my wife and son. Really funky atmosphere walking in, as a 80’s baby all the retro stuff really hit nicely. Immediately greeted by the friendly staff and seated right away. He dropped off some menus for us and gave us a moment for deciding on drinks. I went with the signature angry redhead and my wife got wine. The angry redhead was amazing. Ordered Mac and cheese for my kid, and my wife and I split the nachos and dill fries and we got the pepperoni and cheese pizza pockets. Fantastic meal, left with full bellies. Been a while since I felt that the service and food was worth the price. I definitely felt that here.

obsessed with the atmosphere and vibe in this place. the menu was really large with tons of food and drink options. we ordered mac and cheese that was very good and flavourful, a blt, cream of mushroom soup which was so good and reminded me of my childhood. we also got a chocolate and strawberry milkshake. the chocolate one was super chocolatey, the strawberry one was more muted but still good. the bathroom was cool af too 10/10 will be back. food is getting too salty. ** Update, recently the last few times i ordered from here, food is either extremelyyyyyy salty or too bland and portions are getting smaller. overall food quality has gone down. food feels rushed and not worth the price anymore 🥹🥹🥹which is unfortunate

Everything we ordered was delicious! The prices are super reasonable for the big sizes of the food. My sisters aren’t vegan and would have never guessed the food was vegan had i not told them! Should be mentioned though that the burritos are a bit heavy on the cheese for my taste and the pizza pockets are very big!

Today was my second time at this delicious plant based hot spot and everything was amazing! From the deco to the energy and the food, the place is amazing and a must when in Hamilton! ❤️ Very grateful for a restaurant that doesn’t exploit nonhuman animals and proves that plant based food is so incredibly yummy! 🙏🏽

Absolutely delicious! I have been there many times and have always been amazed at how delicious the items are! The pizza pockets are so far my favourite meal. The cookies and cupcakes (especially the lavender one) are to die for! I love this place and will continue coming back! Great, positive and friendly environment as well.

Overall great experience with amazing food. I’ve had poutine, dessert/snack, and a variety of drinks while visiting. My only complaint was depending on time of day it can be a bit slow ordering some items. Such as my poutine took over 30 minutes. Lastly service for the most part has been friendly but been a few times front staff seemed uninterested in helping or that I annoyed them. Might be vibe they are going for in combo with the grunge bar look, but unsure.

Delicious food in a fun/funky environment. Don't miss the poutine, and save room for dessert. Everything was tasty but we especially loved the BBQ brisket.

Stopped in for a quick bite on the way home from center mall. The crunchwrap and housemade lemonade were both fantastic. Almost forgot to get a picture of my food, it was that good. The staff were all friendly and the vibes/music are great (especially if you like the Simpsons)

Wow! I've wanted to try this place for so long as I love exploring new food alternatives, and I finally had the chance to dine here. My sister and I each got a Crunchwrap, and shared a large order of Uncle Moe's Million Dollar Birthday Fries. Oh my God! The Crunchwraps had such a good amount of spice where it hurt just a little bit (aka the perfect amount of hurt), and we couldn't even finish the fries while there! Food came quick and hot. We also ordered shakes, I had gotten "the Goth shake" and it was amazing. Servers checked in with us a good amount of times and were super friendly. Prices aren't outrageous either! Considering we ordered 3 "dinner" dishes, two shakes, and a glass of Coke, 65$ is not horrible at all. I will definitely be talking about this place non-stop for a while, and WILL be back again! Also added note, it is so amazing to visit a space that is so welcoming to LGBTQ2S+ as a safe space. They also have Naloxone here as advertised in the front window! I was very, very happy to see this. If I could give this place unlimited stars, I would!

What a rustic vegan restaurant experience! You can tell when you walk in here that these people are the real deal. There's a sense of comfort and finding people you have a lot in common with. What's there not to like. The food was really good. It is self-proclaimed vegan junk food but many if not all is homemade. The food here's certainly decadent and my son and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The desserts were really delicious although we just had cookies and the one that we ate was so good we ended up taking home a dozen. If you're vegan and you're in the area this is a must stop.

I don’t know how they do it but their cupcakes are the most moist cupcakes I have ever had (vegan and non vegan)!! Icing was great and there wasn’t too much that it overwhelmed. Pizza pocket was stuffed to the max and tasted amazing! I will definitely be back for more!!

I recently moved to Hamilton and I'm so happy there's a vegan restaurant down the street! The Seitan Brisket platter and pizza pocket were good, and the loaded pickle Mac was AMAZING!! I'm definitely ordering from here again to try more items.

Amazing dunkaroo-type cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes (I took the peanut butter chocolate one which was just the right texture and density for me)! Pizza rolls were also wonderful! Service was awesome and would go back 110% next time I’m in town!!

Great vegan good, the BEST chocolate shakes I've ever had. Staff is amazing, friendly. Awesome vibes with cartyons ponated on the walls, worling video game machines as tables. Love their social media posts. And LOVE that it's an inclusive, LGBT+ space

The food here is amazing. The chocolate chip cookies especially. And the sweet tea. Can't wait to come back! Love that it's down the street from my work. Super kind staff as well.

I have never had a bad meal at Hearty. Each menu item is somehow more delicious than the last. I am not a vegan, but I am vegetarian with dietary issues and I appreciate that everything on their menu is safe for me to eat. The staff are all great, and I love the atmosphere. So fun and punk rock and free. I have recommended them to everyone and anyone who will listen.

My wife and I have been here at least 5 times, 2 to buy gift cards, once for Seinfeld trivia night (AMAZING) and we have had drinks and food 2 different times. We are not vegan or vegetarian but the food is fantastic and flavourful. Staff is always super friendly. Board games are also there for customers to play with. Amazing decor and they love the Simpsons. Highly recommend!!

This is my favourite restaurant ever! I go there so much they know me now and whenever I tell my mom I’m going out to eat, she knows that’s where I’m going even though it’s a 45 minute drive. Everything on the menu is delicious, even my non vegan friends love it. Plus the staff are awesome & very friendly and the atmosphere is super cool!

One of the best vegan spots in Hamilton! Food is always amazing, I love the Crunchwrap. Wait time is not bad and customer service is good. Very fun interior. Great unique menu items that you won’t find elsewhere. Bakery items are decorated wonderfully but a little too sweet for my taste sometimes. Can be a little pricey but nothing too out there compared to other restaurants in Hamilton.

We were passing by and found this absolutely insane (!!!) place. From the amazing retro-punk atmosphere to the friendly and hearty service and the tasty food, everything was wonderful. Vegan or not, you should definitely check this place out. Heck we'll probably make a detour on our trip just to come back.
