Ich war 2022 und 2023 mehrfach als Patientin der Kardiologie in der Barbaraklinik, anfänglich wegen eines Herzinfarktes. Dieser wurde in der Notaufnahme sofort durch einen Stent behandelt. Danach ging es mir kurzfristig wieder sehr gut. Was ich danach in der Barbaraklinik erlebt habe, kann ich aber jetzt im Rückblick nur als absoluten Albtraum bezeichnen: chaotische Zustände mit verzweifelten Patienten in der Notaufnahme, die bis zu 35 Minuten gar nicht besetzt war (niemand am Empfang), nicht stattfindende Kommunikation zwischen den verschiedenen Ärzten, Pflegepersonal, das ausgequetscht wird wie eine Zitrone, Zimmer wie aus den 60ern, und für mich die Gewissheit, dass ich als Patientin in erster Linie dazu da bin, größtmöglichen Profit aus mir zu schlagen- notfalls auch zu meinem gesundheitlichen Nachteil. Leider haben sämtliche Rückfragen im Bekanntenkreis ähnliche Probleme mit der Notaufnahme der Barbaraklinik bestätigt.
