I really enjoyed visiting the farm. The girl at reception is very friendly and welcoming. Before going to the farm we called them and the call was answered immediately. We were told where we should and shouldn’t go. The animals were all friendly and calm. Though it was very cold outside, we still could enjoy petting them and watch them playing/communicating with each other :) Wonderful place to visit and enjoy some rural life. Sending lots of love to the cream coloured goat - she was just wonderful, still miss her a lot ❤️

This year was the first time we joined the Eater egg hunt at this farm, it was wonderful at the beginning, the staff at the entrance are friendly and the activity was really fun, my kid is super happy for the egg hunt and paying part. However when it was the time to take the coach back around 4 pm, we followed a small group of people to get on the coach, after we sit down, one staff told us to leave and said that coach was not for us. We need to wait on the hill. Well, at that moment I thought maybe that coach was for some VIP group of people. Then I took my kid out of that coach and went back to the hill keep waiting. The interesting was after a few minutes the same coach came to us with the same small group of people and opened for all everyone who waiting on the hill to get in, I wonder why they kicked us out at the beginning? It made us quite confused and frustrated, I did not want to ruin my kid’s happy day. But we think the Farm should treat everyone the same! If the rule is waiting for the coach on the hill, then Everyone should be.

My first visit to this great gem in HRM. We went for a wagon ride into the farm. Kids enjoyed the rubber rodeo, zip line and slides. The one thing we all enjoyed though was the interaction with all of the animals on the farm. Great family adventure.

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding at the Farm back in September 2023, and looking back at the photos today made me realize I had to write about what a fabulous experience it was! I was so impressed with the venue, not only for the authentic country vibes and creative spaces, but oh my gosh the staff were so incredible! It is clear everyone really values their work and understands the meaning of hospitality. From the incredible organization starting from the parking lot and into the venue area, to the impressively coordinated dinner service and transition of the dining room for dancing, the staff deserves a big up!! As a special event venue in general, its such a unique spot and so fun to have the mechanical bull, zipline, fire pit, etc. available to us to explore and the ceremony in the woods was one of the most magical I've ever witnessed! Well done to the team at Hatfield Farm!

We just had our 3rd Annual Pumpkin Giveaway at Hatfield Farms this past Saturday. Brian and his staff were so accommodating and easy to work with. Our clients had an amazing expereience (even in the rain! They especially loved the petting pen :) If you need a venue for a work event, birthday party or wedding this is absolutely the spot! - Syna, Phil, Alex & Melisa (The Evans Real Estate Team)

Went with the kids school trip, it was raining but still fun. The wagon wasn't available which wasn't stated until the morning of so it was a little difficult trying to wrangle 30 4year olds around in the rain but they had fun!

Great rustic wedding venue. Service was excellent, the lakeside gazebo was pretty, and the party features looked great; but unfortunately the happy couple had arranged a very long post-dinner schedule which left us (and especially our 5-year-old) completely exhausted by the time dancing started at 10:30pm, which frankly is absurdly late. I know the wedding party ultimately sets the schedule but maybe the venue's reps could have done a better job of influencing the choices given that everything takes a little longer to do outside and in the country. As we hauled our completely-knocked-out kid home in the shuttle minivan, we looked longingly at the indoor bouncy castle & mechanical bull and the growing outdoor bonfires. At least the kid got to have fun on the climbers and sitting on the old tractors, as well as feeding a few crudites to a local rabbit.

I have been on several wagon rides in the winter, and have been to the new petting farm in the summer... and nothing beats the laid back and relaxed atmosphere that they have created for you. If you are a parent, this place is a great spot to show your kiddo the fun side of country and the game barn alone will cater to just about every child's needs. It is also a gorgeous venue for weddings, reunions, or big events held in their main lodge. Love this place!

Took the kids to Splashifax and the course on the water was incredible! There is not enough seating (they have a few picnic tables scattered around), but only had 2 Adirondack chairs, should have a few more seating options and empty your bladder if you’re just there as an observer. They also need to up their first aid crew, was a few injuries and they took one of the 2 chairs for the injured person. Definitely need a little equipped first aid station.

Went here for a winter wedding. Horse were beautiful. The wagon ride was fun. Everything landscape wise was beautiful. The space was huge, cabins fit a couple nicely, staff were friendly. Didn't get a chance to ride the bull, but enjoyed watching others try. Huge space for bonfires at the end of the night. Food was average. The late night pizza and nachos were a life saver. Would recommend this space for large group activities/events.

This place is amazing! Not only is it incredible but the biggest shocker was the price, such is crazy affordable. The horses are gorgeous and the goats are a blast. Not sure if the variety of animals varies and they move between other farms or somewhat so it might be worth going several times at different points of the year. Only criticism I should say is that I wish they had memberships available to make it cheaper if you go a lot. First world problems though...

Stopped by on a road trip; a fun petting farm experience! It’s a great place to hang out for a few minutes up to couple hours! Went during a weekday and it was pretty quite, keeping the experience relaxed. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions about the farm and animals.

We recently had our wedding at Hatfield Farm and we could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. They had everything organized so well, it was such a hassle-free experience. All of our guests had such a blast since there’s SO much to do if you’re not really into dancing at a wedding reception. Everyone was so friendly and they were so accommodating and helpful! We’ll be recommending this place as a wedding venue forever.

Booked our tickets on-line last week, and it turned out to be a great time. Took my girlfriend, her daughter, and two of her friends. They had a blast lol. We stayed on land, and watched them have fun. The petting zoo is a nice touch when your waiting for your ride over to the water park. Lots of animals there, and lots to see, and do between going to, and coming from the park. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun day on or in the water.

Perfect for a sunny fall day! Animals in the petting pen are gentle, my daughter loves to feed them! Playground is fun too.

This was my friend's wedding venue and literally from the moment we got there we were taken care of. The food was phenomenal and the people treated us like family. It was amazing. Highly recommend this place.
