Food is usually good. Unfortunately the last two times the service experience was deplorable. I guess the waitress forgot to send our order to the kitchen for 40min. So I ended up waiting over an hour with my hungry 5 year old who only has so much patience. By the time we got our food, we were rushed to finish because they wanted to close. It was uncomfortable trying to eat while they were waiting for us to leave. We didn't even take 10 min to eat, and it was only 7pm. I didn't enjoy that.

We stopped in for a quick meal on our trip. We waited an hour and a half for our meal!! An hour and a half! At a diner! They were very clearly serving people in the front section that I would venture to guess were locals. But our table and another in the back, who was also not local, waited for 90 mins. The food was fine.... but clearly not worth the wait. The service was terrible. Never explained the wait. Never offered to fill our drinks. One of our worst restaurant experiences. If not THE worst.

I'd love to comment on how good this was, but honestly after 50 minutes past the time we ordered, and only one cup of coffee, we decided to leave. Instead of asking if we needed a refill on coffee while we waited, our server decided to clean tables and prepare for the next customer to have a long wait... I understand food service, as I worked on in the industry for about three years back in the day- I understand being "in the weeds" and they weren't even close. Restaurant was at less than 50% capacity at 11:00am on a Saturday morning... Best of luck if you go there. I was looking forward to it- but I left hungry and thirsty. I left a $5 bill to cover two coffees. Let me know if I need to send more to cover my tab. Disappointed, Neil

Arrived at 10:45- ordered and got coffee. At 11:46 still no breakfast delivered and never offered coffee again. Everyone else around us who came in later was served and diner started to empty out. No idea why waitress let our order go so long but very frustrating. We left - no food.

Although not welcoming at first, our waitress seemed to become a bit more pleasant as we ate. Portions were ample, but when presented with our bill everything was more expensive than listed on the menu. 😡The explanation for this is that “everything is getting more expensive and it says on the menu that prices are subject to change “. Restrooms are clean and well stocked.

Nice hometown diner in the heart of Hancock, NY. We met some family here to catch up. Service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Some of the sandwiches we ordered were the Burger and Fries, BLT and the Sportsman breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 stripsof bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, home fries & toast. The food was served hot and was very tasty. The bacon could have been crispier & home fries could have been a little browner. Then again it was lunchtime and I should have ordered a sandwich. We definitely will be stopping here again for our next meet-up.

Awesome staff and awesome food. Everyone there is so nice. I’ve been coming up here for years and they have always been very well.

Ok place if they like you. Big local gossip place. Say nothing or there will be stories all over. That is the God's honest truth. Took my friend, waited too long for service and the club sandwich had the picks in backwards and all the plastic pieces were where? I guess we ate them.
