Very unethical and inhumane. There is a lack of regard for animal welfare. I am disappointed in myself for not properly checking the animal welfare before I attended. Large animals such as the buffalo and horse are tied up and must walk around the same pole for the rest of their life. They look tortured and in pain, I was on the verge of tears. There are Guinea pigs and rabbits in pens, and goats too. The goat enclosure was too small. I also saw they were growing vegetables and herbs, however few were in fruition. I did not stay to support the restaurant so cannot comment on this, I fed the animals as they were hungry but I left after 10 minutes. Do not come here.

Nice place if you have small children! Have a few animals rabbits, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, birds, chickens and also a horse. A wide variety of plants planted are also described in detail! However, food and drink are more expensive than normal white ones!

I really enjoy the farm to table, herb driven aspect of the food at Ginger Farm, you can really taste the quality of the produce. This location is also one of the best, on the farm, so you can walk around and see vegetables and fruit trees and eat while relaxing on the patio. Great for families and plenty of kids activities.

Came to coincide with a store where a customer bought the entire store but didn't inform the customer. Call, no one answers. There's no sign posted, so I'm confused. It's my first time.

The perfect tourist trap, that's how to describe this place in one word. There is no Ginger to see here, there is no Ginger cultivation, the green spaces are practically abandoned. there are two cages with rabbits and guinea pigs, and a pen with a few goats where kids can come in and give herbs and carrot for 20 baht a basket. You can also see in other cages, some parrots and chickens. The second trap is the restaurant, the average price of each dish is between two and three times more expensive than in town, and even if they have made an effort on the presentation and the quality of the ingredients, the dishes are still ridiculously small.

During my stay in Chiang Mai, I visited Ginger Farm (about 30 min drive from the city centre). It is worthwhile visiting this lovely farm. I had lunch (all fresh from the farm) and great, healthy and unique drinks (freshly made to the order). I ordered a noodle dish, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The environment was very relaxing. The farm is full of various vegetables, spices as well as some farm animals (chicken, cows, and rabbits etc. Also, there was a large bull). Not sure why it is call Ginger Farm, but it is well maintained farm. They also offer various farm related activities, but I didn't have time to participate.

Very well organized teaching farm. The juices and meals are also very delicious. There are no tickets required to enter the park, and the staff are enthusiastic and worth visiting.

We went on a Wednesday only to realise it was closed. So we decided to come back the next day. It is a lovely farm to table restaurant. I think kids would love it here too. There are some little animals to see and you can also feed them for 20baht.

Totally recommend this place for family with kids. There are many farm and non farm animals to look at and feed including goats, rabbits, hamsters, buffalo, pheasant, peacocks and macaws. There are also sandpit, play set, mud slide and painting activity. Kids can learn about the cycle of rice. They also have farm to table restaurant (we didn't have the food here). Next time we will come here for longer and for a meal! Staff is friendly. There is no entrance fee but you can support them with animal food and or by eating at the restaurant

Great for city kids to come for 1-2 hours. Adults can relax and watch the kids play safely. Thai food is good~ except for the kids meal (pasta) and fish is not that fresh. Seems like the activities are all suspended, we can only go see the chickens, cannot collect eggs. Overall my 2 and 4 year old had fun!

The location is a 4/5 ⭐️ but…we waited 45-60 min for our food to come. I get it, you have a private party. Come to other tables and say you’re sorry it will take long and offer some fuits on the house. Food is expensive and mediocre. A good place to bring your kids though, has an old but nice playground and some animals and the farm is very green, so nice. Work on the food and time though…

We stumbled upon this place by surprise and what a great one it was! Not only is the place absolutely beautiful and cutely decorated, the food is amazing and really creative. This is definitely one of the best places we ate around Chiang Mai. You could easily spend a whole afternoon at the place eating amazing food and slurping smoothie after smoothie ;)

About 20-25 minute drive from Nimman, this family friendly farm is great for a day out. Buffalo, rabbits, goats, baby pigs and chickens for the kids to see. The menu was extensive but very expensive compared to places in the city, which you would expect for a place like this. Tasty fresh fruit smoothies were delicious.

This place did not disappoint! I’d recommend renting a moped and driving out here. There seems to be a Michelin Star restaurant attached. It’s a beautiful peaceful spot that seems to be less trafficked by tourists. If you’re into birdwatching this was a surprisingly good spot for that sort of thing. Bring binoculars! I wish I had stayed longer but I think you can ask to give the buffalo a bath, and I wanted to ask about the farming and agriculture.

There is not much ginger here. They have ginger syrup soda. 2 drinks where they mix a little bit of ginger. But to get a ‘custom’ fresh pressed ginger shot they said 1-2hrs, which was not on the menu. Even though they have the juice maker? And a ton of fresh ginger next to it. Confusing. Just warning incase you are also looking for fresh ginger and pressed ginger shots. They do have a cute goat though.

The original Ginger Farm (not the kitchen @ One Nimman). Some farm animals for kids to feed - goats, rabbits, buffalo, etc. Lots of vegetables, herbs, fruit trees and even padi fields! Kids friendly space. Serving similar items to their One Nimman shop. Son had the Chiang Rai fried chicken.

Beautiful place! Very calm and peaceful with small cafe place, you can feed animals they have, rabbits and goats🥰 very nice for families and specifically get children closer to the nature! I wouldn’t go out of my way to check it, but if you have a calm cycle in the suburbs def swing by

It’s an awesome place! So basically it’s a restaurant, but as a bonus you can walk around the farm where the products for the restaurant are coming from. They even have horses and buffaloes! What’s cool is that in a little space you can see the rice, veggies, greens, fruits, and flowers - and people are very friendly and ready to tell you a lot about farming

I passed by that area and went for a quick visit and took some photos. There is a restaurant there but I didn’t try the food as I was not hungry at that time. It looks like a decent place to chill and have a meal

Great kid friendly cafe, small animal farm and play ground. Good coffee and nice mango sticky rice. Affordable prices and a nice environment.

One of my favourite restaurants!!! It embraces a farm-to-table concept using organic and seasonal vegetables from its farm and local artisans. Excellent foods with reasonable price, lovely ambience and it’s a good learning ground for kids. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍👍

The name ginger farm is misleading... since I want to grow ginger myself, I was hoping for a few tips. You could see a harvested bed with a ginger bulb on top...that was all about ginger. Otherwise, it's ok as a farm for children or a learning program (rice cultivation was clearly shown). Food and drinks good (4 people - different dishes - everyone satisfied). As is often the case, it depends on what ideas you arrive with. Still a nice afternoon.
