Really nice hostel - small, quiet, clean, friendly staff, female dorm, towels are provided, super central, everything in walking distance, many nice cafes and restaurants around the corner. Don’t book, if you are looking for a party hostel.

If you're going to a hostel, I definitely recommend this place! I've been to several hostels in Hoan Kiem, but this one was the most comfortable and nice. It's 1 minute from St. Joseph. The air conditioning is great and the bathroom is really clean. Towels are changed every day and the staff is friendly. It's right behind The Chi Novel Hotel, and it seemed like it was managed by the hotel.

Top three hostels in Hanoi

I stayed in a private room. Clean and spacious, everything is comfortable. Check in and out is easy. Breakfast was nothing special,i ordered toast and eggs. The only thing I really hate is there is a construction nearby and they start being VERY NOISY as early as 5am!!! I couldn't get enough sleep and I am grodgy the whole day due to that. Do not stay here if you intend to get a good sleep, especially not in the next few months I guess.

Well run, secure, comfortable beds with lights, fan, and power

This hotel has been closed for more than a year but they still accept and charge for online bookings. Avoid!

In my experience of travelling, the thing that has topped staying in hostels for me has been the attentive, friendly, helpful and outgoing staff. The place is pretty small, but clean and quiet. Shout out to Todd for being so helpful, he’s a very nice guy and is always smiling. If I come back to Hanoi I’d be staying at a Chi Novel again purely for his excellent customer service!

A great dorm room to live

I stayed there for 6 nights. Staffs are very very friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom and bedroom are very clean. Highly recommend if you’re going to stay in hostel in Hanoi!

Superb home! Friendly & kind staff, they are all thoughtful! Room are quite small but clean, pretty soft mattress & private space for each bed. Pretty cool location, very near by grocery stores, supermarket, Hoan Kiem Lake, beer street, pharmacies, restaurants, coffee shops, it located totally in shopping area. It is good choice for who has time to explore Hanoi. Valued for money with professional services
