A great place for a continental breakfast and coffee. You can watch the world go by as you enjoy the generous portions of cold cuts of meat and cheese. Recommend the fitness and classic breakfast, came back on every day of my past 2 trips to Hannover. Also enjoyed a gigantic ice-cream on a nice sunny day. As an international traveller my only comment would be to have more pictures in the menu. Will be back when I'm in town

This place always was my favourite ice cream parlour of all time! Unfortunately the staff have changed and the new employes are quite unfriendly. The ice cream portions are very very small, which is not ok for the price you pay. The drinks are good though (see picture) and the taste of the ice cream is fine. The menu has changed giving guests more to choose from, which is nice. All in all, I would come back if I was passing by, but I wouldn't come all the way from my home City to here, like I have in the past.

A nice cafe, good hot Italian cappuccino, there is free WC. The prices are high

The worst ice cream experience in Hannover. The waffle was handled by the personnel with bare hands and then it was put on a rack touching the cashier. Absolute nightmare. That one I didn’t even eat and the other one was half melted and didn’t have any taste. Highly not recommended

Unfortunately, can be paid cash only. All international cards (VISA, MasterCard) are not accepted. You could pay with a special German Card (EC-Card), if you have one. In order to pay with those card you have to go to the bar (only there are payments with those special German card are possible anyway)

Great tiramisu, hot chocolate and tea. Service was very friendly and fast. Prices okay. 👍

For the first time we decided to book the hotel without breakfast... so while having the train 🚆... we have to haave our breakfast 😋 No high expectation... Normal breakfast A colleague picked a croissant wasn't wow 😳 Decided to take a cheese toast ... eatable ... nothing left in my memory for the taste... must be more than normal The orange juice was fresh 🍊

This ice cream...sooo amazing. I have made this a necessary stop every time I pass through since I was a high school exchange student. I if I had more than a 5 minute connection, I would rush to get the tiramisu. So wonderful!

The Colosseum is arguably Hannover's best ice cream parlor by a mile. The variety of ice cream dishes, sundaes, they offer, is huge. Various fruit sundaes, nut-flavored ones and half a dozen different "Spagettieis" types. Not only is their variety great, but so is the quality of their ice cream. And lots of fresh fruit is served with just about any sundae. The portion size is on the large end of the spectrum. Don't come here if you're not hungry. Price value is incommensurable.

The location of the place is amazing as it is right there at Hauptbahnhof and the sitting area outside is cool. But i tried just normal icecream and it did not impress me. I tried Mango and Strawberry, mango flavour really disappointed me.

Ice creams are not good.Ambient is very loud and a lot of people i there.

Coffee is basically milk with a little bit of added coffee beans. Done with little to no care. Useful spot to spend time waiting for the train on a sunny day. But better to stop at Balzac on the other side for a nice coffee.

Excellent ice cream. If you find yourself at the Hannover train station and you’re having a sweet craving, definitely stop here for ice cream/dessert. I recommend the spaghetti ice cream dishes. But be prepared, it can be very crowded.

I came here at 21:37. The cameras caught it. When I wanted to place an order, the waiter refused to take the order, stating that there were 20 minutes left before closing. I don't get it, making scrambled eggs and reheating bacon takes more than 10 minutes? In my opinion, for a normal cook, this will take a maximum of 5 minutes. I hope the head of this institution will take action against this employee who does not perform the necessary functions of a waiter. The worst service staff, where not a single person even knows English. In simple words: the most uneducated people without intelligence work here.
