Nice restaurant in a lovely old building, within the city center of Amersfoort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff foresees in your needs and helps accordingly, resulting in a relaxed atmosphere where you can focus on the food and your friends. The food itself is tasty and well prepared. Overall the amount of fried supplements on the Chefs platter was a bit on high side. The portions however were large enough as we could barely finish all the food. Price/quality wise it might be a little on the high side though, regarding the economic situation we are in this might not be only the restaurant’s call. To answer some critics about if this is true Spanish food or not; No. The kitchen is clearly influenced by the Spanish cuisine and delivers tapas inspired dishes. The ingredients are Mediterranean however not necessarily Spanish. Just like many other restaurants in The Netherlands like Greek or Chinese, you can’t define a true country’s taste anymore. Gaudi’s has -like them- broadened it’s flavors beyond the borders of Spain and adapted them to the average customer. Most likely to attract a larger audience. The kitchen maybe could use some ‘Pinchos’ to add some Spanish tint to its palette. Overall it’s a place worth going to embrace mediterranean vibes on a cold winter night.

Service is a bit slow. Don't order Grolsch here if you feel like drinking beer, it's "suspiciously" watery. Also the menu is quite confusing and they don't have a menu for drinks. A neutral 3 because I've not actually tasted the food here so no comments about that.

Este no es un restaurante español. Ni el dueño lo es, ni la comida. This is not a Spanish restaurant, neither the owner is, nor the tapas. If you want a real Spanish place, this is not the choice. Regarding the response of the owner last July when he - she wrote: ¨I'm sorry you didn't like your experience with us. We are a tapas restaurant, but our food is more than just tapas, as is stated on our website. We are a medeterean oriented restaurant, not just Spanish. Lo siento.¨ First. I dont think you want to be just a Mediterranean restaurant as you have several flags of Spain in the exterior of your restaurant (pictures attached). And what is worse, you have the one with the bull to feed the very narrow-minded image of my country. Neither you serve authentic tapas there, nor is a Mediterranean restaurant. Please, honor the name given to your place, Gaudi, and change either the flag, the cook, or the owners. Dankjewel!!!

Went with 5 people, we ordered the 3-course menu; 5 menu's!. Next to us sat 2 people at a table; they had more food on the table then us... We payed 250€ and went hungry home... We decides to give 5 stars in the review, this is my star.

My boyfriend and I had the chef’s menu in this restaurant. The service was good, however the food made us sick afterwards. We sat on the 2nd floor which was also a bit noisy considering there was a big group sitting next to us. There was no background music or anything and also felt a bit crowded and too warm. Not to mention passing through the kitchen when you go to the second floor. Overall, the surprise menu was too basic and I would not recommend it.

I liked that they have vegetarian options, that they marked in the menu, that they accept cash and have WiFi. But the atmosphere feels like very old and needed to be improved (as well as menu).

The food is good, staff is friendly, and the prices are very moderate. Alltogether I would recommend Gaudi's as a great place for tapas.

I am really sorry but I wasn’t that satisfied with the service, they really did their best but I got a big beer instead of the 30cl I specially asked for but I didn’t send it back bc they were already super busy, we had to ask for our own cutlery after we got our food for a while already and also for the menus we had to ask them ourselves while we’re sitting there for a long time. For the rest of it the food was fine just a little over priced, if you get nachos there is not enough guacamole and sources on top although you pay 9€ and the staff was very friendly that’s why I felt bad to say something about it. I would recommend the restaurant I just hope they take better care when it comes to the basic needs of the customers like I stated before. Also there no prices on the beer card so you LITTERALY don’t know what your paying ! Staff was jvery friendly I just think they were understaffed maybe

Decidedly average. Don't believe the hype, the food here is nothing to write home about. It's not terrible but it's definitely not amazing. We had a vegetarian tapas platter and it was that unmemorable that I can't even remember what was on it. Staff are nice, beer is on tap, food is average, and prices are steep because it's on the Hof.

This is the best Spanish restaurant outside Spain I've ever visited. The place itself is nice and the service is ok. But what is shocking is the quality of the food. Being Spanish myself I discovered new flavours here in some traditional "tapas". Some special recommendation would be: patatas bravas, beef steak, chicken on lemon sauce, croquettes...even Rioja wine here is amazing. Yes, mainly everything.

The food was ok. Staff was friendly. To reach the upstairs seating area you have to go through the kitchen, which seems fairly unhygienic. Lots of vegan options which is an upside.

The service was great and friendly but the tapas were not all that tasty. We choose a 2 person tapas chef menu but we could not taste authentic flavors. Somewhat overpriced
