I’d give this place 6 stars if I could! This little family farm does the covered wagon rides on demand. Grandpa drives the wagon and daughter and granddaughter keep you company and tell you about the area and history. You get a super scenic ride through the forest and meadows past a castle and other historic buildings for an hour. It’s SO WORTH IT!!! Our kids got to ride in the front and loved the entire ride. If you’re in the area I highly recommend this little gem we stumbled upon. If you only speak English or German they won’t speak to you over the phone, but we stopped by in person and were able to arrange everything in English. There also isn’t a sign on the road or in front of the farm so you just have to stop at the gate. It can get windy so bring layers to stay warm - we went in late October and loved the tour through the fall leaves. It was the highlight of the trip!
