The room was big but everything was overused and dirty. I was there for a week with my family and it was almost a nightmare. The location can't be worse for families, the street is full of nightclubs. I have spent 2 sleepless nights because of probably drunk drivers drifting in the main road beside the usual extremely loud music and noise from the street, it is better to avoid the entire street of the hotel. The breakfast was good enough but not excellent. they have a nice garden and pool. the beach is cross the road but it was full of garbage and you can't actually reach the water even if you liked 2. The staff is very nice and helpful, which is the only thing I liked.

I really enjoyed my stay at Portaluna Hotel&Resort. It’s a perfectly European style of a hotel with an amazing management team. They offer a free buffet serving three meals a day. Their menu is changed every day, offering a rich and healthy variety of both local and international dishes. No other hotel in the area offers similar services. I absolutely loved chilling in their garden after my morning swim. They recently built a big swimming pool and redesigned their open-plan fitness centre. It’s simply lovely! I definitely recommend Portaluna for all travelers looking for a hotel in Jounieh.

We stayed at this hotel with our newborn baby . It was first trip with our little son. The staff is amazing . They provided a crib , offered to warm the milk every three hours and offered us room service whenever we needed. I highly recommend this hotel for families travelling with babies or small children . You have nothing to worry about and you can truly enjoy your holidays.

A superb hotel in a great sea-side location. All restaurants and cafes are within a walking distance. 24/7 security and a parking space just in front of the hotel. Cool gym, sauna and swimming pool. Jogging area! Planning my next stay soon.

This hotel is not 5 starts at all. The food isn’t good it’s cold, the bed sheets are dirty, the wifi is trash and the rooms Are not even close to looking as luxury as a 3 star hotel. Also how can his hotel/resort not have an outdoor pool? And it specifically said that they did have an outdoorpool so they are actually catfish. Not going to lie service is really good and the workers are really kind and generous. Lesson learned : will never trsut pictures online cause in real life it’s Gucci vs Walmart😂

Excellent staff, extremely friendly and highly professional. We went as a family with a 4-year old girl who got a crib for free, breakfast was rich and generous, no extra hidden fees, rooms were extra clean and bed and toilet are 5 star standards with all its facilities only there are no slippers or toothbrush. Thank you staff!

The hotel is located in Junya Bay-Beirut. The scene of the Mediterranean sea is amazing. it is near to the aerial lift station so you don't need to have taxi. the room service and the all other services are good. the breakfast is mostly composed of healthy food which was delicious. I recommend it for weekends visits.

One of the best hotels in the area. Every time I visit family, I stay at Portaluna. Great location from Beirut, and to numerous attractions. The hotel boasts a pool, gym, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet included in the price of the rooms. Complimentary WiFi is also quite fast and good for Lebanon. I highly recommend for anyone willing to be out of Beirut proper.

Terrible experience..totally ruined my vacation day! The room was not clean at 3 pm (time for check in) so we went back to lobby and waited 30 minutes to go up and find it full of dust..no way to explain how much dust there was in the room, and the minibar had pepsi garbage cans from the guest before! Couldnt breath in the room! Lunch was awful! Silly buffet truly, 2 kinds fruits and one salad! Juice not fresh! It is nothing like a 5 stars hotel..barely 1 just for the seaview.. I skipped dinnet and checked out..couldnt spend the night in there and the receptionist didnt bother to ask why we were checking out in just few hours! Knowing that we did let him know that we didnt like our stay! He didnt care to know what botherd us and made us leave ....

Breakfast is of low variety, water in the rooms costs extra, location is too noisy, swimming pool is tiny. BUT Rooms are very clean, room service is good, all rooms are air conditioned, staff are friendly.

Great location, close to all tourist places. Nice, spacious and clean room, really pleasant. Beautiful interior and management. Parking is adequate and safe. The food was awesome: various, fresh and tasty. Even my little picky eater (my daughter) loved it all and asked to come back to the hotel for lunch from the city tour / monastery visit. But the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special. Everyone had a smile on their face and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. In a nutshell, we are very pleased with this hotel organization and their hospitality. If someone is visiting Lebanon with family and looking for a safe and agreeable place, he/she may opt this option. We (my husband, daughter and me) were staying in Portaluna for 11 nights in March 2017 and came back this year again. We are already planning our next vacation at Portaluna!
