Very unique place. Its so Deep, that its hard to grasp

Nice scenery of an engineering masterpiece, however, with a frustrating, but area typical low grade gastronomy around!

You can walk with the water on one side and road on the other side. There are also nature rich walking ways away from the water. Great for a day in nature.

Must see when in the area. Take bus 861 from Goslar station at 8:25 or 10:25 up the mountain. Impressive dam in the forrest. Café and walking paths, too.

Good place for every season even winter time! Dog walking, some small walking too but make sure that you have a proper cloth to fight with the minus temperature here❄️❄️

Nice for a quick stop. Free parking. Nice to walk over the dam. Quite a difference in height on both sides. Weird that there's a pretty nice building on site which looks like once was a restaurant of some kind and now it's closed and they've placed food trucks and portable toilets in front of it. Why not make (re)use of what's already there? Little trail going down was completely overgrown and inaccessible.
