I found Hum as I wandered around Hat Yai, went to Songkhla, came back and discovered my new hotel was just round the corner. I went every day during my stay. I only ever had cappuccinos, but it would be hard to find a better one. Made with care and skill, it remains full of flavour to the last drop, without getting too milky. The space is tiny - two small tables and a few stools, so it can get a bit loud. There were times it seemed everyone knew each other. The owner was friendly. Not really a food venue - I noticed some nuts and not much more.

The coffee was absolutely nice! Barista was very friendly and shared the beans with us, and ideally picked for us what blend we need to suit the coffees! I’ve picked the Dirty, it’s like an absolute bomb of caffeine in your mouth, and a next wave of milk. Definitely nice! The spaces are quite limited, so pick a good time of yours to enjoy the coffee here! A truly 5 star rated area to be explored!

Able to try the coffee at the last day of my trip. The cafe is kinda small and simple. Ordered the mocha and it tastes good for me. It tend to more bitter and less chocolatey. Also got other specialty coffee and non coffee drink to choose from.

An unassuming cafe from the outside. It's a small space, which means you get up close and personal with the barista. He can speak a little English. We ordered our drinks and could see him in action preparing it. We liked the cozy interior with the brick wall background, and spent quite a while there waiting out the rain. The barista even let me try some other coffee when he had extra just to try the varieties. Definitely recommended if you enjoy a quiet space for coffee.

The cafe is much smaller than I expected with about 10 chairs/stools. Unfortunately, only drink is served on that day. I'm a bit disappointed.

Small, cosy and chic coffee spot. The soy matcha latte we ordered here was the real stuff, blended up on the spot but we found the flavour of the soy milk used to be slightly overpowering which downplayed that matcha taste a little. Overall still a pretty decent cuppa

Slightly more pricey than other cafes by roughly 20 bhat. But I have to say I was able to taste the beans more from the drink here. Definitely give this place a try! There is limited place to sit, so be prepared to order to go.
