Found this gem passing through. Pizza was great! I'm not easy to impress but I was impressed with this. Thanks for spreading the love and thanks for the awesome pizza!

Exactly what I was looking for! Honestly one of my favorite dining experiences to date. The food was amazing, the portions were huge! You can totally tell the time and care that was taken for each dish. I'm a bit of a pizza snob so the pizza wasn't the best I've ever had but it's still really good you should definitely try it, like I said I'm a pizza snob and it's just my opinion, very, very generous toppings on the pizza, definitely worth trying. Everything is made in house, including the carrot cake which if you like carrot cake it is a must try! It was just the owners working when we were there and they were incredibly friendly and it was a pleasure meeting them! I'm already planning to go back to try their infamous chicken sandwich, (and have another piece of carrot cake! 😉) can't wait!🤤 I highly recommend you stop in if you're in the area!

We were told of the great food at Johns restaurant and while we were snowmobiling in the area we walked over to the restaurant to enjoy the food we were told about only to find out that the dining room was closed and it was take out only. If it’s only take out the Google profile should be updated. They are missing out on the business of many snowmobiles that come into the area.

Fantastic pizza!!!! Montreal style!!! So glad I stopped here on my way out west. Definitely stopping here again on my way back!!! Wonderful family!!!

Super service...delicious fries... pizza not bad .

John’s Restaurant is newly renovated and serves delicious food and large portions. This place is an institution in Hearst. Those who leave Hearst and return for visits very much enjoy going to John’s. The food is consistently good. Everything is nice and clean. Highly recommend. Must try.

First time there, was recommended by a friend, definitely had the best pizza ever

Fish and chips... Server gave my order to someone else adding time than I got the "food" Chips were fried few times, saggy inside burnt on the outside. Fish had so much batter that it's better to order a banquets... Couldn't finnish it. Got the carrot cake as an apology.

I was recently in Hearst with the Beavertail trailer and was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming we received from the staff at John's. The food is beyond compare, the pizza is second to none and don't ever leave that place without having the souvlaki. Did I mention the homemade burger buns? Absolutely fantastic food! We truly felt at home. The staff treated us all and everyone who goes there better than family. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Thank you so much for an amazing dining experience.

Poutines are really really cheesy and great…. Should try out there large poutine .. yumm talk about delicious.. service is also good when eating Dining in • friendly staff - Not a long wait - waiting for take outs and eating in about the same time frame …

Great service, good food,large portions, whats not to like! It seems that they are keeping up the traditions of the previous owners...still seems like a great place.

Fantastic pork souvlaki. Best I've had in years. I only wish it came with some tzatziki instead of having to lay extra for it. Menu should be update to say that it comes with French fries and not "potatoes" as that usually means mashed or roasted. I would definitely go back.
