Truly stunning views of all traffic on the Polderbaan runway. If you’re a planespotter or just want a fun day out then this is an absolute bucket list moment!

I love to watch the airplanes ! I had the occasion to stay close by different airports around the world where I saw beautiful landings and takes off ... Singapore AirPort, Saint Martin Island Airport ( yes the crazy one ! Ahhh ), Saint Thomas Island Airport, Miami International Airport, Bali Island Airport and Roma Fiumicino Airport . Lately Amsterdam Airport, I haven't never seen such a beautiful and "organized" spot to see the planes . There is a parking area, food track, some benches and you can basically follow the entire runway where you can find a nice spot of the grass and enjoying the show along the Runway Porlderbaan 36L - 18R ( 3800 mt, mostly used for take off, I didn't see any landings during my visit ) . I definitely recommend to bring a chair, snack and drinks ( umbrella if you suffer the heat and sun/rain ) and of course full batteries for phones and cameras ! Enjoy !

Really nice place to watch airplanes. The distance to the planes is approximately 70 meters. At the weekends they also have a fries stall where you can buy dutch fries. A lot of parking places available and it's a quite bussy landing strip where you can enjoy a lot watching planes.

It is one of the best plane spotting places around Schiphol airport. Excellent view of the runway and plenty of free parking.

Great spot to watch airplanes take off. A little out of the way. If you stay longer bring a chair, but great uninterrupted views of big wide body airplane take offs

Spotter place right next to a runway. Although I visited on a very windy day with 50km/h winds so couldn't get to see any plane but if you are lucky enough may be could see planes coming in to land or take off from this runway. Nice spot to take kids for a view. Plenty of parking available.

Very cool way to spend a couple hours if the weather is nice. Most planes take off right in front of the place and they're very close

My family and I enjoy our visits to this location. It's a place we frequently find ourselves returning to. We like to use the Flightradar24 application to track potential airplane landings and takeoffs. Today, we were fortunate to witness crosswind landings, a spectacle made possible by the high wind speeds. One more piece of advice - the takeoffs, in our experience, are even more mesmerizing than the landings.

Nice place to spend some time especially with kids, watch planes landing every 5 min at this spot. Also has a good truck selling fries

If you like spotting and planes, this is a perfect place! You can park your car for free and watch the Polderbaan Runway. Although I recommend everybody to park the car there and walk along the runway. Because parking lot is at the very end of runway which means you might miss the action.

Good place to spot airplanes, very busy with airplanes coming every 5 minutes (or less). A plus, a small food truck is in case you're hungry (or cold).
