We had high hope for the glamorous new brunch Cafe opening up, peering through the window during construction showed promise! Our first breakfast was just what we wanted from this new cool Cafe. Perfect eggs on a nice bun was great for a breakfast. The coffee was great and the tea selection offered a lot of variety. Can't wait till they grow the menu a bit with baked beans, mushrooms ect as they get into their stride. Well be back again for more I'm sure.

Several times visited. Really nice atmosphere and they have great coffee & cappuccinos; also very good coffee beans for takeaway. Friendly staff. Tip: bear in mind the service might feel slower than other bars if you are sitting, so make sure to spare some time beforehand

I went there Saturday afternoon and the barista was great and made a cup of fluffy cappuccino. I also ordered a chicken sandwich which was very fresh and lekker.

Al the time when I’m getting my coffee, they welcome me with a smile and remember how I like the coffee best! Large cappuccino with an extra shot! Love them! The place to get my morning started!

Great lunch spot.....chicken sandwich of kip ceasar are great choices.....coffee is terrific.....a beer with Bitterballen cant be wrong

I totally loved this place! Went for lunch for my birthday, ordered the chicken and the Belgian stew plus the homemade fries. Everything was delicious and the waitress was attentive, kind and friendly. Reasonably priced for Dutch standards, we will repeat for sure :)

One warm hazelnut chocolate croissant and raspberry kombucha.. If it’s a large group, service is bit slow but they serve everything warm 🥐

Got beef stew for €16.50 and it came in a smaller bowl than the fries (worth €5) and it was only 2/3 filled with stew. Friends got a full breakfast for €14.50 that includes a coffee which was a better portion than what I got. Saw another picture of soup in another review and that was even in a bigger bowl. Stew felt more like a side to the fries than an actual main. Don’t think the price is worth the food.

Great eggs Benedict, or shrimp or cheese croquettes! A bit on the pricey side, but great for when you want to spoil yourself, or take someone out for a cozy Sunday brunch. I also definitely recommend the ham and cheese croissant - best one I’ve had (they use old Bruges cheese which is amazing!)

Ordered coffee got no milk or sugar. Asked for the menu card and nobody came to take my order. I went inside and the i told the girl what i wanted and she asked me if i had taken the order from the others. We also had to wait for nearly an hour. When the order arrived , ships and a croquet I asked for Mayonaise and she gave me salad saus. So you can imagine that we where not happy at all and we said we will never come back. Thank you for your reply. We visited the one on the Nachtegaalstraat. It was the taller girl with black hair in a knot. She was older then the others. I don’t remember her name. Vascobelo never disappoints! Every time I go the staff is exceptionally nice and welcoming. They always adapt to allergen needs and service is fast.

I recently moved to Utrecht but have found my new favorite coffee place. This location is in a busy shopping street, with lots of competition. After visiting many places, I keep coming back here. The staff knows exactly what I like to drink, and the coffee is really great. In addition, there is a casual atmosphere, and smallest details of the old building really make me feel at home. Definitely highly recommended!
