However, the hospital had a waiting period of 3 years, which forced me to look for another solution. I eventually ended up at Bergman Clinics. The doctor's diagnosis was immediately confirmed. I would advise everyone to have (nose) operations performed through Bergman Clinics. I had a fairly short period between my first intake and the operation itself. I really liked Doctor Middelweerd and I would advise everyone to visit him. He is a very sweet, knowledgeable man who sincerely explains everything well and gives you the feeling that he wants to help you with everything. I was able to ask all my questions in advance and even during the follow-up check he managed to calm my nerves and reassure me; I was extremely nervous. About a week and a half after my operation, I was able to breathe through my nose better than I had in years. I am also very satisfied with the aesthetics. If I could give 10 stars I would. I honestly had a very nice experience with Bergman Clinics. Thank you to everyone on the team who was there for me!!

Extremely messy location and actually not enough space for the number of visitors, which makes it seem like chaos. Everything fast fast. If only you were old and admitted here. The doctor was friendly, knowledgeable and hopefully surgery went well. But the experience was very negative, specially from an expat point of view. No one could stay with me to at least check on me after surgery, it was a very cold and abrupt way to say goodbye with my mom the moment I entered the clinic (and not announced beforehand). I had to spend the night and the nurse struggled to speak English, she looked at me badly when I didn’t speak Dutch and still tried to talk to me in Dutch at first. I also felt isolated as she and rest of patients wouldn’t stop speaking and laughing in Dutch, no one tried to include me. Worst thing is that I was told to be picked up around 7:30AM but I thought I could wait in the recovery room, in bed until they came to pick me up. When all the patients left I was told to leave the room and wait in the reception (being ignored, sitting, colder than in the room and not the most comfortable when I am still feeling very weak).
