Been here a long time ago but just leaving a review as of what shows up in the news. The people that are talking here about the economical potential that the "big" Wendy's would bring should read about how employee's are being treated in the US. The only economical gain will be for the corporate Wendy's, if they will come here. In the meantime we have enough fast-food chains in Europe.

This is a quintessentially Dutch snackfood place with condiments such as peanutsauce with raw onions and REAL mayonaise and it is just a delight and a must eat when visiting Goes! I also loved the 'shoarmarol' with garlicsauce, so crunchy and full of flavour mmmm, the people working there really know their snacks :D Maybe next time I'll try a burger with peanutsauce and fried onions (winkwink)

Delicious crispy fish&chips and very helpful and kind staff. Highly recommended

I tried out this place on my birthday last year. Unfortunately, the fries had no salt at all. Furthermore, when I pointed this out, I was cursed at and accused of trying to waste perfectly good fries. This makes me wish the real Wendy's was actually in my country.

Read an article about this place being the reason the hypercorperation chain Wendys can't be in Europe and thought I'd have a look at the reviews that pathetic people left calling for the guy to shut down, as well as all the fake reviews of this place when the people have never been here. Keep up the hilarious work. People who want another mcdonalds style, soulless, and overpriced chain in their town are morons and I hope you continue running for decades to come. Also, the people who have never been to Wendy's acting like it's some amazing thing, have you lot had a taco bell? That's lauded in america and in the UK, and the US (yes, I've actually been shockhorror) is absolutely tasteless and average

Delicious Dutch snacks by Wendy from Goes in the Netherlands. Stay strong and don't be bullied into submission by McDonalds ripoff Wendy's from the US. Edit: The false reviews here are atrocious and I would urge anyone to report these at Google for violating the terms for review placement - in particular these reviews suggest a conflict of interest. To those 1 star reviewers: why on earth would anyone give up their name for the sake of a US multinational? Show some backbone, support your country and ignore US venture capitalists who will never have your best interest at heart.

Love the name and even more the fact that full-scale American arrogance by a huge multinational company was halted by one Dutch man. Wendy's USA... You should have been friendlier, honey.

I haven't been there yet, though I live close enough to Goes to be able to change that soon, but managing to keep a multibillion American fast food chain out of pure principle is enough for me to give this place a five-star rating purely out of anti-corporation spite. Given the average score though, I expect the food to actually deserve the score anyway.

If you are in the mood for some tasty Dutch junk food, this it the right place! If the weather plays along, and you are lucky, you may even be able to find a bench free around the corner (left out of the shop) and enjoy the beautiful harbour!! If you haven't tried it, you need to ask for the peanut sauce (Pindasaus) on your French fries! It is not exactly low-cal, but delicious!!
