In the beginning it was great value for a summer holiday, unfortunately since covid ( way before energy hike ) Landal have increased prices so much I can just about afford an off season weekend. The accomadation is in a nice location but the last few times I've been with my family the facilities and furniture within are tired and over used. All in all I still like the location but if there was a better park in that location I would go elsewhere.

We stayed here as guests of our Dutch friends. Superb surroundings with lots of beautiful wildlife, many birds, and red squirrels. A lovely leisure centre with a very nice swimming pool and children's activities and a shop. There were cycles for hire and lots of places to walk. The cottage was lovely and clean, warm and cosy and would definitely recommend staying at one of the parks and will be investigating the ones in the UK.

Our stay at Landal was short but very nice and full with activities. We stayed in a lovely bungalow which had everything included what you need for living. It was clean and ready to move in. The park in general is integrated in a forest with a small lake in the center. It’s focusing on mainly to families with children as there a lot of options for keeping them busy, such as an indoor playground, several outdoor playgrounds, atelier or riding a buggy. There are couple of options for dining within the park and even a supermarket with all necessary goods. Only the prices were a bit more expensive compared to outside but that wasn’t a surprise.

Had a short weekend away with baby and toddler. Unfortunately the park isn't really good for this age group, all the playgrounds are concentrated on the beach. The indoor playground is small. The baby bungalow is two floors, with the kids room on the ground floor. This setup didn't work well for us, my toddler was too scared to sleep on her own floor. I think it is better suited for older children. On a positive note, the food here is very good, especially at the Brasserie. You can’t do that because all the exits are blocked! You can really go out with the car and access the parking ONLY on given days (arrival and departure). This is the puzzle I couldn’t solve. I myself got this reminder and spent good 20 minutes riding here and there but all was blocked. Some notes to address old reviews: the stove is electric, showers are fine, it feels like the place is freshly renovated. There is free WiFi in the rooms. Still true: there is nothing to do outside of the park, maybe some forest walks and some sheep farms?

Park is beautiful, pool is smallish, but there is special aquaplay for younger kids. The cottages were clean, was in a 6 person cottage, which was ok, but a little small - livingroom wise. There are many activities for kids: crafts, playing board game, expeditions, escape walk and the service of the people working at the park - reception and animation were very enthusiastic and friendly.

Great site, we were there at the end of the English summer holidays which meant that there were mostly families with younger children there and it was very quiet. Very few English guests, mostly Dutch and a few German. The accommodation is exactly as described. The only negatives were that the stairs are very steep and narrow with no barrier or rail on one side, and that it could have been cleaner (debris under beds and lots of cobwebs), but the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a small pack of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc in the kitchen, plus toilet roll in the bathrooms. You need to take your own tea towels, hand towels and hand soap plus all other toiletries. Bike hire was easy, all staff were very helpful and friendly, food and drink were decent quality. The shop is well stocked and there are supermarkets in the local town. The aquapark on the lake costs extra and has to be pre booked but was good fun. We also visited Utrecht, Zwolle, Amsterdam and Gouda which were all great. Overall highly recommended.
