My wife and I had a really excellent two night stay at Domein holset. The property is in a lovely and picturesque location. Eventhough the weather was rainy and foggy when we arrived it still looks amazing. We had the Atelier room and I would highly recommend it. Connectivity wise we took a train to Maastrict and then bus to Lemiers , from the stop it's a 20 min easy walk to the property though some excellent scenery. It is fair to say that having a car will make it much more convenient, but we managed fine without one. The breakfast is simply excellent, good coffee and lots of local cheese. For dinner we stayed in and got food from property's menu, it is a limited menu but tasty. We had the soup, vegetarian quiche and beef stew all were good. On the first night we had the borrelbox a mix of cheese and cold meats along with a bottle of the bubbly, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our only downside was that we could not enjoy the scenery as much and take as long walks as we wanted to due to rainy weather , but we will be back in the summer. Bram and his team do an excellent job when it comes to ensuring the stay is comfortable, they are responsive and very courteous. It is a great way to getaway to a scenic part of the country with the lockdown.

Absolutely loved our stay here, we stayed in the guest rooms on their beautiful vineyard. They provided ebikes for rental which is wonderful for exploring the little towns nearby that are very hilly. We enjoyed the wine tour, our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. Their sparkling wines were some of the best we’ve had outside of champagne!

Visited in July for hugely enjoyable wine tasting in the garden next to the vineyard. 7 Months later we finished the last of the purchased great sparkling wines they make here. Prins is our preferred one. Fantastic road trip destination.

Very nicely decorated vineyard with a lovely view. Tasty sparkling wines with a reasonably priced tasting menu that comes with a snack. Owner was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge about wine.

Proeverij en rondleiding van de kids gehad voor onze verjaardagen. Met staplaats bij kampeerboerderij De Schrouff. Dus op pad met de camper. Op naar Limburg. Wat een leuke plek en leuk verhaal is dit. Patrick is een begenadigd verteller en de mousserende wijnen zijn uitstekend. Natuurlijk namen we wat mee voor thuis....

We zijn hier uitsluitend gepasseerd voor een rondleiding in de wijngaard + proeverij omdat we ergens in de buurt logeerden. Ze zijn gespecialiseerd in sparkling wine en de wijnen die we mochten proeven waren qua smaak dik in orde. Enkel jammer dat dit slechts drie proevertjes waren voor een bovengemiddelde prijs. Daarom ook besloten om geen flessen mee naar huis te nemen. Prijzen per fles variëren tussen de 25 en 35 euro wat toch zeker niet goedkoop is. De kamers waar je kon logeren leken tof van buitenaf gezien. Waarschijnlijk de volgende keer toch weer een brouwerijbezoek.
