Currently being renovated, so no water in the pool and Neptune is left high and dry.

A very nice, historic fountain located in the castle gardens, not far from the castle. There is also a grotto nearby.

It’s a cool Neptune statue in Germany at the castle ruins. Neat little stop.

The statues is nicely and precisely sculpted. you can take a closer look by stepping into the pound if it is empty. otherwise it is surrounded by water.

Neptune surrounded by salamander-filled waters. What more could you ask for?

Quiet, lots of nature and benches in the area.

Another piece of unique art/architecture in the area. You can’t go anywhere near Heidelberg Altstadt without seeing things like this.
