New Aldi charging station. Completed at the time of my review (February 4, 2021), but not yet in operation. Like all Aldi charging stations, charging and parking are expected to be free. Charging ports CSS and CHAdeMO, type 2 probably only with its own cable. The charging station is not covered. The Aldi store is in an industrial area. Therefore, there are no offers during the charging period other than the market itself. Toilets are not available. Addendum: The charging station is in operation, 2x CCS, for type 2 only a socket with its own cable. CHAdeMO is not available.

Charging speed after switching to payment is actually always 150KW when I'm standing there alone. Another positive thing is that charging is possible until 10 p.m. after the store closes. Big drawback: The display lighting has been defective for months and even after calling support, unfortunately nothing is happening there. In fact, you almost have to guess what is on the display. Addendum: Display has now been repaired, but the 2nd column has been out of operation for weeks.

One of the CCS ports has been broken for months now, card payment does rarely work, charging does not get initiated despite payment getting accepted. Super unreliable, better avoid it!

The charging station didn't want to start charging via the app, and my EnBW card wasn't read either. Due to a vehicle defect, I just arrived here with an almost empty battery and then the part doesn't work 🤬

Great charging station. Reliable. Unfortunately, 1 CCS connection has not been usable for a few weeks because it is defective, which is why 1 star is deducted.

If it works, you can charge here quite cheaply and without any problems. At this point in time, 0.39ct for the kWh is a good price and it is also possible via EC card. If required, the receipt must be downloaded online. Unfortunately, it often happens that one or both of the fast charging ports are defective and the repair takes weeks.
