I had previously given the hotel a 3-star rating in 2018 because I found it neither extraordinary nor bad. However, in 2023, they filed a complaint with Google to have my review taken down, citing the cases BGH, Urt. 25.10.2011, VI ZR 93/10 and Urt. 01.03.2016, VI ZR 34/15. They demanded proof of my stay, but I can provide evidence as I have indeed been there. I find their behavior unacceptable, as many people with similar reviews probably don't have the means to prove a stay that occurred 5 years ago, resulting in their reviews being removed. Therefore, I have decided to downgrade my rating to one star.

Came only to the restaurant on the recommendation from a local and it was surprisingly good. Good quality food, from the appetizers to the desserts. Attention was fast and cordial. The ambiance was nice too, didn't look like a hotel at all. There were some vegan options too.

I'm going to be a little picky here, but we are talking preassumably 4* hotel, 230€ a night. Overall the hotel is modern and clean, the people are nice and helpful. The location was OK, but like 20 minutes walk from the main promenade. The problem starts with the garage that is small, narrow and has carlifts. It is quite tricky to operate but at least it is available for 15€ / day which is reasonable. We had a deluxe room booked which included a fantastic terrace which compensated for some downsides. The room was located in a separate building down the road which was a little confusing, especially that the breakfast was served in the main building. During summer it isn't that big of a deal but in winter or poor weather you would have to dress up to get to it. The room itself was quite ok but the bed and pillows were not so comfortable. As I have mentioned the terrace compensated for it, especially that it was on the north side, so no direct sunlight. Breakfast was decent with plenty of choice but it felt a little but cheap which I will cover in a bit. So the main problem for me was that the hotel was trying to pretend to be something that it's not. From the top: - cleaning service is only upon request one day earlier. I don't see a major problem with that, but they should at least check the necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, soap and so on, especially that someone is there daily to check on the minibar. Big disappointment. - minibar is reasonably priced but they are not keeping the track of it, so I was asked at the check out how much did I drink. Strange... - second building had a lift but there were stairs at the entrance inly with the wheelchair lift. People with trolleys would either have to use the wheelchair loft or drag the trolley up. - soap dispensers were very cheap and plastic and the washing liquids were rather poor quality - breakfast was served in a form of a buffet. The plates included various meats and cheeses but only few slices of each which made it look rather cheap. They were of course refilled but the feeling of cheapness was still there. They were locked in some plastic containers which also look poor. There was a free tea/coffee machine in the corridor so that was a bonus. Overall i rather regret spending more than 200 € a night, and the experience was not of a 4* hotel but of a wannabe 4*. Shame...

The personal was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent mostly, but the nightstand had splatters of something sticky and so did the fridge. There was some black mold and sticky stuff under the drinks. We cleaned it but the information that the books provide said that they clean it, so I doubt that part. The drinks in the minibar are not too expensive 2 euro per bottle which is fine. The rooms were quiet and they have blinds that block the sun, but they don't block the whole window. See the images for details. Besides that the bed was nice and I love the two kinds of pillows. One flat and one a bit higher. For me these were the best hotel beds in a long time. There is a nice rooftop terrace. All in all I would recommend it if you don't mind the light.

CLAIMS IT IS A NON-SMOKING HOTEL, BUT THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. The hotel is pleasant, but it’s policies state that it is non-smoking. That may be their policy, but they don’t enforce it. I stayed two nights and the people in the room below mine were smoking. After the first night I talked to the woman at the front desk, she smiled and said she would have housekeeping checked into this. As far as I can tell, the staff did nothing because the people were smoking the second night as well. On the second morning I spoke again to the same woman at the front desk, she just smiled and shrugged.

This hotel has no child policy, we have reserved a room with our 12 year old daughter, which is possible online.. when we arrived in the hotel, we are told that we have to pay 30 euros more for a third bed; but this doesnt end here, when we accepted this, they could mot find any other available room for 3 people. İf this is the system, why are they selling a room fıor 3 people? Ee could pay 30 euros before to not to have this bad experience.. I stiil dont understand if they have a bug in the operation system or şt was just an incompetencw

Good boutique hotel, great breakfast with some minor issues: -the room floor was dusty, as well there was some trash behind the bed stand, also dusty (so it was there for some time); -staff entered the room in the afternoon, although we were inside and shouted occupied - reception said it was probably to check mini bar fulfillment. It is not acceptable because there is no warning for that. - noisy in the morning - once the house keeping starts, with noisy closure of doors.

Modern but comfortable hotel that is close to the train station and within walking distance of the old town. Staff were polite and helpful. Great free coffee in the lobby. Large room with a comfortable bed and the best shower I've had in years. Not only has heating and A/C ventilation, but also has heating/cooling floors in both bedroom and bathroom. We upgraded our room and ended up with a private patio which was a delightful surprise. Restaurant had high quality food and excellent service. Shame that we weren't hungry enough to have more than main courses, as it all looked delicious.

They don't clean up your rooms until you ask for it the day before; which is highly surprising for a hotel in this category. Rooms are very dark in the evening, top design but not enough light.

It’s not up to the standards of 4 star hotel. Breakfast is not fresh, the hotel has no lobby for guests. There was no water kettle at the room. Cleaning service of the rooms are poorly organised and the pillows, bed is not comfy. Overall price to performance is poor!

We stayed a week here in a terrific room with a terrace. Very spacious and modern. Our extra long bed was a huge plus for us, though the sheet was too small so it often slipped off during the night, which led us to sleeping directly on a plastic-feeling mattress. The towels and sheets did not match the overall quality of the room. Housekeeping could also be improved. Floor was dusty even after cleaning and there were many cobwebs in corners. Overall though the hotel was really great for us: convenient, very good value, and matched our taste. We really took advantage of the terrace. Cannot speak to the restaurant as we did not eat there.

Great hotel, sparkling clean and very nice staff. Breakfast was great, but a bit expensive, and the hotel is right facing the street, but had sound proof windows and good air-conditioning.

Great place to stay, a little out of town but an easy walk. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were pretty good for the price, nice rooftop area to relax (can take drinks up). Food was surprisingly good - incredibly good ingredients or together in really interesting ways

The hotel is pleasant and very clean. Located a brisk 10 minute walk from the center. The rooms are somewhat spartan and could use a splash of color on the walls, some minimalist painting or black and white artful photographs would make a huge difference to the feel of it. The one BIG negative for my family was very uncomfortable cheap pillows and blankets. The bedding was the worst in quality of all 5 hotels we stayed in on the trip. It is somewhat unexpected, because everything else was done very well. Overall it is a good option if pillow comfort is not a problem for you. Breakfast is excellent, but expensive and they charge for small children as well. Beware that parking garage has a lift for cars, so if you are leaving when reception is closed, be sure your car is accessible.

Few places in Heidelberg can hope to match the ambiance and look of Qube. The staff and service though are just amazing. The selection of drinks is nice and the food quality is excellent, even though choice of vegan and vegetarian food is limited. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place, close to the railway station and old city. Rooms are clean and big enough, internet connection is good. The restaurant is quite expensive, including the breakfast. Limited choices on the dinner menu, but they are of good quality. The staff is pretty young and syyentive.

Rooms are very small ans in very modern style. Breakfast is quite poor for a 4 star hotel. Compared to other 4 star hotels in Germany this hotel is below average. For the quality it offers the price of more than 160 euro per night is too high. Price / quality ratio is low.

Good, modern hotel. Located a good distance from the main attractions of the city. Hotel itself is in two separate buildings. The villa is around 50 meters down the road from the main building, a slight inconvenience but the spacious and clean rooms make up for it. The staff is quite helpful.

Friendly staff and comfortable hotel. Charged €18.50 for a rather poor breakfast with small selection and low quality. Apparently fresh eggs are available but I was never asked if I wanted to order any. Best to check if it is included at check in as otherwise you could be in for a surprise!

Nice hotel, finely decorated. The restaurant was not open at night but the suggested an Italian restaurant on the other side of the street and was perfect.
