Overall this is a nice budget hotel. Two reasons for my low rating: 1 - Mainly because the bathroom was smelling really terrible from the beginning. A disgusting smell came from there even it looked like clean. Totally obviously unacceptable. 2 - There are no power sockets near the bed. Really? Don't they know all of us have smartphones that must be charged overnight?

Great location (15 min walk from train station, in quiet area). Breakfast was good. Rooms are sufficient but shower was not really hot enough and the AC sounds like it's constantly bubbling water. Our manager - this Middle Eastern guy was not very polite and made fun of my friends decision to ask for more shampoo and asked why he didn't bring his own (hot take manager - he forgot). Mr Manager if you are reading this, please work on your customer service skills.

I am very confident that Hassan, the manager, has the talent and sensibility to run a guest-centric hotel - which would be something very unusual for this price-category in this part of the world. Just make sure you get out of the right side of Heidelberg station to find this place and everything will be fine.

Extremely pathetic customer service! Arrive at 5 am after travelling all night and then to be greeted by the rudest man ever. We had troubles with putting in the code after self checkin, call the emergency number given at the door and already on the phone the man is extremely rude:”you’re waking up from my sleep, you’re not putting in the code right, tut mir leid if I’m wrong, but ill be very angry if you’re mistaken”. Angrily comes, rude again when given the code and then when is able to get it to work, slams the door of the reception, telling us he was working all night and how angry he is. How is this a hospitality service? It doesn’t matter how good or clean the rooms are if this is the start of the trip. Extremely ill mannered man, pathetic service and don’t think would stay here again! P.s we had already informed during the booking we were checking in at this time.

The room was basic but pleasant, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The website could be clearer, though, as well as the fact that the special offers are only available through the website, not through such things as a direct phone call. This was a disappointment, because I was very pleased with my initial stay. When I tried to rebook for another stay, the website didn't tell me there were no rooms available - it just froze. When I called, I found out that the only room free was the "premium" room, at an astonishing €40 a night more, because it has a coffee maker. And isn't listed on the website, thus still available. Hmm.

Check-in was organized, easy to understand and quick. The location is good. The room quiet and dark when window shade closed, allowing a restful sleep. Price and quality is good value.

This summer I traveled by car from Portugal to Ukraine and stayed in hotels B&B for 4 nights. I had a good rest in them. I really enjoyed by nice, clean bedrooms, bathrooms, comfortable mattress and easy parking. Price equal to quality. Next trip I will stay in B&B.

The hotel was not really near anything. The rooms were small and while not filthy not entirely clean. The bathroom smelled like the water in the pipes was sour. It was not a good value for price.

We were trying to park at 3pm and we had to call reception from entrance but no one responded so we parked on the street and went inside but it said reception will be there from 5pm. We couldn’t park in the hotel but good thing was street in front of the hotel was free to park. View of hotel was nice and self check in, out was convenient.

Overall B&B hotel Heidelberg was not bad. Staffs are kind . The family room is also good condition and enough space to bring many luggage. The bath room is also good. As a short and budgetary purpose with a family, it looks to be good choice. But as expected there are no refrigerator, coffee pot, guest kitchen. But, what I did not expect and surprised was that the hotel (including the reception) was closed in the Sunday afternoon (12:00 - 17:00, Aug-20, 2023). To make matters worse, there was no notice at all when I checked in on Saturday. Accordingly, I needed to changed the schedule to pick up the left luggage in the hotel before noon, and I also saw some customers were waiting to be checked in, and left somewhere... I think that B&B hotel Heidelberg is not small to close the reception in the Sunday afternoon and people does not expect so. Nevertheless, there should be a sort of notice in the reception desk or web page. Good communication is one of the key to keep the business. Again, the hotel itself is good (clean, calm, location, etc.).

I had a wonderful stay at the B&B Hotel in Heidelberg with my wife and son. The room was pleasantly spacious, making it easy to accommodate our family comfortably. The check-in and check-out process was hassle-free, and I particularly appreciated the budget-friendly rates. Overall, it was a delightful experience for us.

The location is great as far as there not being a lot of outside noise in the area, but not good for proximity for walking to the city center. However, it is really easy to get to though, because there is a street train stop close by. The hotel has a small parking area with not many spots for guests to park. Still, I liked the general local, and I felt getting to the highway or the city center was well within reasonable driving distance. Overall, I would say it was an above-average experience and a good stay.

Was there as an overnight guest. We arrived as a group of 35 people and they had all our checking stuff prepared so it was a quick and smooth experience. The room was clean but didn't have anything special. Since I really only was there to sleep this was perfectly fine. It's easy to reach from the train station so that's a plus.

In every year We go for a car buying tour. For this 2-3000km journey We always choose BB hotels with breakfast.

The service at reception was good. Rooms very basic, perfect if you are back packing. Base of bed very shabby. Carpet in hallways stinks. Yes the room has Aircon however it sounds like a toilet running. If you want a cheap place to stay and don't mind a tram ride into town to see the sights. This will be perfect for you.

We arrived to a construction site down in the lobby... no advanced warning given. The dining room was closed because of the renovations and as they dont provide kettles in the bedrooms anymore so we couldn't access a cup of tea. We were told to go down the road. It was a bit of a walk each morning to reach a diner for breakfast. Maybe we missed a closer place. I didn't find reception helpful at all. Was glad to move on. One positive was that the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the construction activities didnt disturb us with noise once we reached our room. And in fairness the price was cheap

Basic but very clean rooms. Has everything I need when I come here for a few days. Location is in walking distance to the train station.

The room was probably better than average, although the TV was small and in an awkward position so it couldn't really be used from the bed, watched Netflix on my laptop instead. More annoying though was the "gluten free options" at breakfast. Two of our party are coeliacs and there was no gf bread, cereal etc. It seems to be fruit and orange juice. Also the staff seemed to be more focused on replenishing the buffet then making sure there were cups and glasses.

Unfortunately not a good experience. I had advised that I would do the late check in, I wrote a message to find out how to do it after 22. They answered me automatically and until the evening they did not send me the code, I had to call and ask to have a message with the code. It should be the reception's job. In addition, on Saturday morning I was woken up at 7 by the masonry work in the room above. Indecent! Management should understand that I paid for the room! I paid for a service and the service is sleep. He should go back to good manners school and learn what it means to work in the hotel business.

Perfectly fine with parking. We stayed one night and mooched around the town. Very nice. We would have liked to have stayed longer but we were on our way to Croatia. The hotel itself was basic but comfortable. We didn't eat there but we did buy beer from the vending machine before bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was amazing, I could walk everywhere. Room was ok. The pillows are the German pillows that I don't like. I find the price was really good for the room, very affordable.

Great location, clean and nice room. In room there a few electric sockets so it is hard to plug your devices. Parking on the street for free, inside facility out is going to cost you some ,,€. Small TV, bunk bed for kids 👍

Clean, quiet. It's obviously not a luxury hotel, and I have seen some comments about the rooms and TVs being small, and this made me worried, but it was good value for the money: the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, there was a hairdryer, it is in walking distance from the main train station and the city centre.

Great location for us, everything is fine. Breakfast could be better, and you have a nice bike lane at the back of the building. You can find a lots of green parrots just outside at this season in the early morning

Rooms are equipped with ac units, which is great. It is in a quiet area of town, across from a car dealership. You will need transportation as it is about 15 minutes from city center. Lots of student and group tours. Great Continental breakfast.
