Alles lieblos in einem Suppenteller serviert- sry … Rührei geschmacklos, Serano gibts auch besseren … Für das das wir eigentlich 3 bis 4x im Jahr extra nach Heidelberg fahren um dort zu frühstücken enttäuschend. Leute ihr wart schon besser.

It’s rare to have poor service and poor food. But this place has both. Asked our waiter kindly to explain specials and she told us they were written in English already. Super rude. We were nothing but kind to her before this. At the end of the meal she then asked for a tip, where we politely declined (the service was terrible). She proceeded to storm off with an attitude. We walked away a bit shocked as we have never received this kind of service throughout Germany. Don’t go here.

Chicken was still raw and the past sauce wasn't good. No non-smoking area, so you have to sit next to smokers.

Awful place, avoid it! They don't have an English menu and you just have to guess. Prices are very high and the dishes small and not that good. The waiter doesn't provide good service, he is very rude and he insulted us when he learnt from which country we come from. The conditions in the toilet are extremely unhealthy, as they have an extra toilet paper on the floor right beside the toilet!

Wir sind durch Zufall dort gewesen. Die Bedienung war nicht so freundlich, wir haben ziemlich lange auf den Kellner zum Bestellen bzw. Bezahlen warten müssen. Es hat alles ziemlich lange gedauert. Das Ambiente ist einladend und der Außenbereich sehr schön gestaltet. Nach einem Drink sind wir jedoch gegangen.

Very rude staff. I am living next door and have been going to this place for over 13 years now. Two days ago I came with my little dog (a small and very quiet dachshund) and a friend. We were sitting on the terrace when one of the waitress came to order me to put my dog on the floor. It was quietly sleeping on a chair. After having taken it down, I just mentioned that it was the 1st time I was asked that (and this is true!). After that she became quite aggressive and kept on asking the same question 4 times: “This is the rule. Why aren’t you happy?” in a very dominant tone. I really took on myself to be able to remain quiet while desperately trying to explain for 4 times the fact that it was not my personal experience, but she clearly was not listening. Making her notice that, I politely asked her to stop asking the question and leave my friend and I enjoy the moment... When she finally let us in peace, she shouted Crazy in my back. Even the people at the neighboring tables were shocked and came to me to provide emotional support. It really made us feel bad, and I can say for sure that I will never come back.

Das Servicepersonal wirkte sehr lustlos und nicht besonders Kundenfreundlich. 
Das Bier vom Fass war nicht kalt genug. Die Qualität der Speisen ließ ebenfalls zu Wünschen übrig. Hier wäre zu erwähnen, dass der Hähnchenspieß auf der Currysauce (Die Sauce war lecker) sehr fettig war und von. Anderer Qualität wirkte. Zufällig bekamen wir mit, wie ein anderer Tisch auch die Spieße zurück gehen ließ. Vielleicht war es ja Tagesform abhängig. Ebenso waren die Scheiben des Bruschetta nicht (ausreichend) getostet und somit sehr gummrig. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren sehr gut. Der Burrata hat ebenfalls gut geschmeckt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist die Gestaltung der Gerichte und das Ambiente.

I don’t like giving negative reviews of places but the service here is really poor. Not entirely the servers fault, it looked like there was only two for the whole upper floor. We had half of the food served and then the waitress left without giving us any cutlery, or bread or butter which was included in the meal. By the time we were able to flag someone down, the food was completely cold. The rest of the food came eventually but hard to enjoy. the food also took about 40+ minutes to come. the restaurant really needs to hire more staff and improve the service here because the place has a lot of potential. It is far too expensive for the food quality and service you get.

Fourteen of us walked in during lunch hour, got a large table upstairs right away. Our server wasn’t friendly but efficient. We got our food fairly quickly. Half of the party ordered salad and enjoyed it. The hamburger was decent but not the best. The person who ordered the lentil soup though the soup tasted off and confirmed by another person. She had to send back the soup. I have ordered the Curry Beef Stew with Okra and Falafels, it tasted salty. Overall, food is OK.

War am Valentinstag mal wieder dort und Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, auch die Fettucini waren sehr gut zubereitet und schmackhaft. Ansonsten immer eine angenehme Atmosphäre im Rossi - und auch beim heutigen Besuch war ich mit dem Essen - Kalbsschnitzel mit Spaghetti - wieder sehr zufrieden, empfohlen und zubereitet vom Küchenchef Pietro.

Location mitten in der Stadt und trotzdem relativ ruhig. Bedienung war nett, hat uns aber zuerst komplett vergessen und dann hat die Küche/Personal unsere Bestellung (zwei Burger) irgendwie komplett vergessen/falsch rausgegeben, so dass wir fast eine Stunde aufs Essen warten mussten. Burger waren ok, aber etwas zu kalt und nichts besonderes.

Ich empfehle den Kaffee an der Bar zu trinken. Einladende Atmosphäre und wahrscheinlich eher für die höheren Semester gedacht. Sehr ruhig trotz der Nähe zum Bismarckplatz.

I do not advise tourists to go to this restaurant. There is much better than that in terms of staff behavior. Me and my wife went to this restaurant, and when I kindly asked for an English menu, the waiter answered no. Then I requested if he could suggest any cold drink as long as we couldn't read German. He answered in a rude way I'm busy, and we have a lot of drinks; I can't suggest anything, and he ignores us and leaves. I never faced rude staff as in this restaurant. If I were German, he would be polite and will not talk in this rude way.

The inside is much nicer than the outside. I had been there several times but only sitting in the yard, which is ok but a bit noisy and dusty. I recently went there for breakfast on a cool day and we sat inside and the interior is really beautiful. The food is ok, brunch on the weekend is best and breakfast is good. In the evening I have only had drinks.

Nice place to sit outside and enjoy drinks. The food was okay but not convincing.. We prefer to have only drinks here. Kind service though!

We we’re with a group. Waiter brings out random food, only speaks Italian and when we ask for something his reaction is “I’m the boss, i decide”. Completely overpriced and unfriendly. Additionally, the waiter had us all pay 1 euro extra for the drinks (per person) AND charged for more people than we actually were. Management go check on your waiter.

Super Netztes Ambiente, nettes Personal. Café draußen und auch drinnen schön. Leckeres Essen. Kuchen haben wir leider nicht probiert, sah aber auch sehr lecker aus. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We went there for breakfast on a Sunday. I got the smoked salmon dish, and it was quite good. A lot of salmon, great Avocado spread, soft bread. Everyone else got the Tante something (can't remember the name- Susan? Anne?) And it was basically like an American breakfast, and everyone liked it. The restaurant itself is very pretty inside- amazing what looks like original tile floor in the center of the restaurant. Accessible clean bathrooms, and friendly service. Definitely on the pricey side- we wanted to get a bottle of Proseco to make mimosas (their orange juice is delicious) and they said a bottle was going to be 37 euro, which I'm sure is much more than the bottle costs at the store. They have a huge outdoor seating area too that was nice, but it was covered in wasps all around people's food so we chose to sit inside!

Went due to recommendation on Google maps. Had breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was busy, but we had reservations. Food is good, diverse alternatives and great location for a day downtown.

Delicious, fresh as advertised and the coffee is extraordinary! I ordered the salmon on toast. pancakes and fruit. Service was outstanding 👏🏽 👌🏽

Came here on New Years Day for breakfast, and it was great!! The service was good, the food was great, and the place is so cute! And lots of seating. Would highly recommend for a good brunch in Heidelberg. ++ good vegetarian or vegan options.

Good place to eat for breakfast, they had tasty bagels and fluffy pancakes. It took a bit to order, but besides that the food is tasty.

Beautiful downtown setting in a historic building: check! A selection of fresh juices and top-shelf coffee: ja! Artfully prepared breakfasts with great veggies, local fare and fresh flavors: of course! We had a wonderful time at Rossi, enjoying a full breakfast at a fair price. Both food and coffee exceeded our expectations!

Lovely place to spend time.

Good place for breakfast especially when all other restaurants nearby are full. Service was good and staff very friendly. Value for money is okay - coffee was good, bread rolls and pancakes very basic nothing special.

This place has a lot going for it: location is superb, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and an extensive menu In terms of the quality and taste of the food I would say it’s ok, nothing outstanding but it does offer a little something for everyone

Beautiful cafe in the core of Heidelberg city. Has a nice terrace for sunny days an a very nice art-deco interior. Breakfast is delicious and the sevice was great.

Really nice and cozy place. Service is great prices are decent. Can also sit outside when is cold, heaters and blankets are provided.

Nice place with a lot of inside and outside seating. Would recommend to book ahead of time as it can get busy. Friendly service and good choices for food all day long from Breakfast to Dinner.

I had no particular feelings about this place after living in Heidelberg for several years and with my office nearby, until recently I discovered they have this special offer at the bar, all sort of coffees only cost 2 euro, croissants also 2 euros. It is just nice to come to the bar for a cup of coffee in the afternoon.

I was there yesterday, the room was nice, coffee was good.. but something really disturb, the Bar was so noisy! With someone put something like they throw it somewhere. Please be professional, the guests wanna have a comfort atmosphere.

Doesn't get 5 stars cause its too formal for my personal taste. Great, pleasant place for whatever you want food or drink wise. Some of the best coffee in town. The prices are what you'd expect in the location but you can get a "standing coffee" for very good price.
