I would suggest going to the other Galeria Kaufhof in Heidelberg Altstadt. The sortiment is in my opinion much better over there and staff is more helpful.

It perpetually surprises me that such an establishment still exists in this country. Shops in the style of the 1970s? Expensive, terribly expensive, the choice of products bizarre. On top of that, this awful building completely demolishes the urban style of Heidelberg. The only good shop is the Asian shop on level -1.

Closing time is 19:00 but one staff at the entrance tried to stop me from entering at 18:30, by yelling and even having body contact. No apologies at all. Very rude and disrespectful behavior. You can also tell from the other one-star comments here how they always treat the customers badly. So glad they’ll close forever and hopefully the staff will never get another job that allows him to throw tantrums at anyone 👎👋

Very good for shopping. Here is possible to buy different goods from kitchen stuff to close and toes. Always something with discounts is prevented.

A great store. For those visiting from the UK it's a bit like John Lewis/Debenhams. We came here with a friend to get him a suit and the staff were very helpful.

One of the best places to shop with many options. A little pricey, but often worth it.

it's all about: the final cut. In the basement there's only a chinese supermarket any more, the 5 stories aren't well visited and the stuff they sell is still expensive...

Extremely bad experience at the customer toilet on the basement floor. The toilet was not clean. Water on the floor, unflushed toilets. When I went out of the toilet, the cleaner lady (a lady with darker skin tone) was sitting at the entrance where you are supposed to give 50 cents. She was very friendly and greeted everyone warmly. I was looking for my wallet for the coins and it took a bit longer, finally I had the coins and placed them to the plate. She looked very arrogantly at the coins (yes she lifted their eyebrows all the time) and showed a very unfriendly cold face all the time when I was there. I did not expect that she greeted me as she greeted everyone but as a customer I cannot tolerant the staff at the shopping mall to show such an attitude to me. Obviously she treated me differently than others. I am just wondering if that is because I have a different skin color than the other customers?! As a customer at Galeria Kaufhof and also someone why paid the toilet fee completely, just because of the little thing now I have a pretty bad impression on Galeria Kaufhof.

Clothes are expensive and not much variety in style. They don’t have much for kids and women’s sizes aren’t all-inclusive. Was only able to find a couple things here that I liked and that fit me in the past few years. Staff is friendly though.

Provided Great sale but are very disorganized. Bought pants wit sale tag but at the cashier they refuse to sell. Other products I collected to buy were even cheaper at the cashier. Such a mess. They Let me and baby waiting and insinuated the tag was “put” there by someone not from the shop. Meanwhile they passed other people with similar problem but insisted and did not sell the product with sale. Very disappointing. Felt mistreated.

Everything is very nice, but whoever has money can shop there

It's a great place to buy almost anything but I feel it lacks variation sometimes. My favourite sections are Sephora on ground floor and KIDS + Dining on top floor.

Sales still on. I enjoy shopping here especially with my spouse. Lots of male clothing and shoes available. Prefer to buy my luggage and perfumes here as well. Well stocked , high quality. Yes, you can sit down to enjoy meals, cakes and coffee. Asian cuisine available. Freshly cooked and variety.

No/ little service. On top of no service, when I did get to the goods collection I was unable to collect a order for my wife. I had the email, ID to show same name and address for goods worth 10€. After spending 20 mins to get that far. Then told bad luck. Merry Xmas. Any wonder such places are going broke. I won't be back.

Yup. The place is good and ambience are better especially for beauty products. You will get free WiFi and can be a good meeting point.

Visiting from out of town and had to find a place to develop some photos and buy a couple frames as gifts. A local shop owner directed us to the photo shop and development at this store. The lady who works here was so kind and extremely patient to cater to our needs. We received two 15cm x 20cm color photos in less than 10 minutes, she helped me picked out frames while the photos were developing. The picture quality was extremely clear and colors were perfect. It was such a great experience! (If you don’t have data, you can download the photos directly from your smartphone through an IP address.)

If you are visiting, stay at a hotel near there. Great location! I stayed at the NH Heidelberg hotel and I was close to really good restaurants, Rewe and a Muller. It's all about convenience.
