It's Bauhaus! Germany's answer to Home Depot. They have everything for your house and garden. Great place to get small screws and other items for small repairs.

Perfect place to shop for your household items. I went to buy some plants for my apartment. And you get a lot of options to choose from

Items shown in their website to be available in that specific location, but in reality it isn't there. The sellers are not helpful and seem to be annoyed that I asked them a question regarding where to find something. In the end, I decided not to 'bother' them and strolled around for over an hour to find 2 products. Their range of products were good and the price was reasonable.

Quite large and you get almost any hardware here.i had to reassemble some Ikea furniture for which I lost some spares. The staff is really very helpful. They really know hardware and you can even consult on your troubles. Other then the cashier's everyone was okay to help in English which is not normal. Great shopping experience!

22 Dec 2023/ stopped by to buy kaminbriketts, but someone at Bauhause had the Great Idea to block the entrance to the Drive in entrance with a big truck i.e. Blocking the Entrance, Mind you they have 2 exit gates one is Never Used !!! waited for about 8 mins and them once again went to HornBach and gave my money to them, guess Bauhause dosnt want to earn $$$$$$$$ July 2023 // Very bad service waited 15 min to have some wood cut, 2 people were in front of me! Ask another employee if he could get someone to help him was given a very very unprofessional answer, left and went to Hornbach very fast service and advice/ help got everything done with in 20 min, they were probably still waiting in Bauhouse

Good place to get stuffs for building, renovations , and household appliances. Garden section as well. One can borrow implements transport etc. Nice idea. Self-check in and cashiers available. Do I mention 🤔 that a delightful coffee / snacks/ bread is just at the entrance 😋 go buy and relax

They have just everything. We are refurbishing our house and garden so we have to buy quite a lot. For the moment we are very satisfied with the quality of the products. People working there are nice, although some are not as willing to talk and explain (to not-perfect-german-speaking people like us maybe) as you would expect. On the web page everything is exhaustively described, however, expert's advice is welcome anytime.

Awesome plant selection, customer service and on top of it all we could use their cargo bike for free to take the plants home!

Update Jan 2023: Still the same choice and price of product. Massive store with a large selection of DIY products. Prices are about average for other stores I have been to.

Up to date and well stocked. Plenty of parking space and a drive-in area make this the perfect shopping experience when you come by car. If you do arrive by bicycle it is a bit intimidating. It would have been easy to connect this place to the emerging bikepath network in Heidelberg. The bike racks and space for cargo bikes etc is far from ideal and doesn't feel safe at all. There is space to grow here and adept to a changing customer demographic. doesn't make it a bad store though. I've never had a problem a trip to the bauhaus couldn't fix.

They have it all, you name it, but don't expect much of service from the staff!

You can find everything you need here! Nice and helpful staff. You can also order things online and pick up in the store, which is of great convenience.
