Was here about 9 years ago, after moving to the old wing of the building things went "downward".... Nowadays beautiful, idyllic outdoor area, garden a bit weathered, fountain hasn't been on for years....all points that could contribute to a faster recovery.

(Translated by Google) The current visitor regulation is a disaster! Is this a clinic or a prison? Actually, you would not have received a star from me, unfortunately the rating is not accepted, with zero stars. Rest assured, my final assessment of your clinic is still pending, and out of respect for some of your staff who are actually doing an excellent job, I will give this at a reasonable time. It was extremely important to me to take up this topic with the visitor regulation, because - from my personal point of view - you probably cannot put yourself in the shoes of every patient who, to make matters worse, with regard to his illness, should also avoid visiting contacts as far as possible or must. You either don't seem to realize that this can't be good for your health, or maybe you just see what you want to see!

Idyllically located REHA clinic with very committed, friendly staff, a good canteen and exemplary hygiene and cleanliness of rooms, corridors, windows, toilets, etc. In addition to a wide range of training and exercise options, there is also a great swimming pool available in the evenings for patients who are fit to swim. ..very positive is also the personal request from each patient about the main meal in terms of praise and criticism requests, which are also taken into account quite quickly if necessary... the only small downer is the relatively expensive parking garage, but that's just it also due to the tense situation in the limited parking space in Heidelberg

(Translated by Google) Perfect location for a rehabilitation clinic but that's about it. A cafeteria that closes at 2 p.m., bad. My girlfriend is on station M2.2, and the staff almost only speaks German badly. I had pressed her emergency bell and after almost 7 minutes the nurse came. On my next visit, the same problem again, an emergency and this time a very long wait until the nurse came. I hope and pray that you will be relocated there soon. The gentlemen at reception were very friendly.

Unfortunately, we have had mostly negative experiences. The location is very nice, the rest is okay. I don't want to report negatively on every carer, as we also had a few very committed and friendly ones. My father wasn't really cleaned, we noticed that a lot over the months. Even when giving food, it was often outrageous and sometimes difficult to watch. There was also misinformation that made things more difficult for us... Note: Our father came to the clinic immediately after an operation, which he survived well. His condition there became visibly worse from week to week.

---Big debacle that adorns itself with the beautiful feathers of the medical city of Heidelberg--- Now that my father (stroke patient) was in the clinic for inpatient rehabilitation for six months and I visited him at least four times every week, I would like to report about the clinic: Unfortunately, our experiences were more disastrous than good. The only positive things are good and competent therapies, where my father was able to learn a lot of new things. In addition, there were few nurses who really looked after us well in the C phase. I don't even want to start with the B phase: patients who are not washed and stink. Incontinent patients who ring the emergency bell because they realize they have to go to the toilet, but are turned away scoldingly by a few nurses... Unfortunately, communication with the clinic is poor. Initially, we were unable to reach the doctor's office by phone or email for weeks to make an appointment with the treating doctor. It was only when we appeared personally and emphatically at the secretariat that we were able to meet on the same day. It may have been a one-off mistake, but we experienced similar problems throughout the rest of the hospital structure. As relatives, we neither met many therapists nor exchanged a word with them in six months. The only connection to them was through the supervising doctor. The social worker in phase C seemed very unconcerned. Only when we asked about it was there any communication with him, in which we were ultimately given false information and for which he didn't even have the dignity to answer for it ("The health insurance company cannot be reached"). The organization within the clinic also leaves a lot to be desired. Reactions from the clinic are only shown when the over-sixty-year-old patient is so exhausted that he sits with his relatives crying in fits. I would just like to briefly comment on the topic of Corona: As large as the measures are presented on the internet, they are also not monitored in the clinic itself. Everyone can decide for themselves how to evaluate this. In summary, the clinic offers competent therapies, which only make up a small part of inpatient rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the rest of the “trappings” turned out to be a big debacle for us, which adorns itself with the beautiful feathers of the medical city of Heidelberg.

(Translated by Google) Clinic very bad Doctors and therapists not recommended, food was a disaster, I have never eaten so unhealthily. The only ray of hope was Sister Anita, without her I would have left after 3 days, therapist for the psyche needs a therapist herself (Original) Klinik sehr schlecht Ärzte und Therapeuten nicht zu empfehlen , Essen die reiste Katastrophe , habe noch nie so ungesund gegessen .Einziger Lichtblick war Schwester Anita ohne Sie wäre ich nach 3 Tagen wieder abgereist , Therapeutin für die Psyche braucht selber einen Therapeuten

I was here for 3 weeks in mid-October. The entire staff was great. Among the therapists, Ms. Balzer and Mr. Rohrmann should be mentioned by name, and among the nursing staff, Ramona, Simone and Jürgen. The therapies were all great. What's not good is that there are only 2-bed rooms and that nothing happens on the weekend. The food also leaves nothing to be desired.

I was here for 2 months last year. The food was okay and the staff tried to find something that would accommodate my various intolerances. The rooms were large and spacious, but unfortunately a bit noisy. But the view was beautiful and I miss the wonderful sunsets. I would particularly like to highlight the special offer for equipment training and swimming. I also really enjoyed taking part in Qi Gong and relaxation, as well as walks in the forest. Overall, the clinic is in a very idyllic location in the countryside and just a few minutes by bus from the city center. Highly recommended for all mobile rehabilitators. The Prinzhorn exhibition there is recommended. Our group was also very pleasant, we organized trips to falconry, to the Königsstuhl (accessible by bus) and even to the Body Worlds exhibition. The good group dynamics and the discussions also led to an improvement in my condition. Also a big thank you to my assigned occupational therapist, psychologist and speech therapist. Everyone tried their best ❤️ Ms. Pavic, my occupational therapist, was also warm and supported me in my plans for my professional future. The group offers were also good. (Would have liked to have gone a little longer) Thank you very much for that. I would like to apply for rehabilitation at the Schmieder Clinic again. 🙂

Never again!!! Such a dirty hospital 😡 Station M1.2 My 41 year old brother had a heart attack and has been in a vegetative state with brain damage ever since 😪 Was in the schmieder clinic for early rehab for almost 3 months My brother is worse than before 😡 You can do it with coma patients, he couldn't defend himself anymore 😡😡😡 He has two open spots because they didn't turn him. I've never seen anything that bad, it takes months for it to heal😪 My brother was a very well-groomed man until he came to this hospital. He smelled terribly of sweat and had scales and calluses on his hands and feet We siblings had a foot care provider take care of it and it cost 49 euros The only thing she did was collect the money without doing anything to my brother 😡😥 Yes, you can do it with coma patients After several phone calls we spoke to a doctor (nothing works without an appointment) The nursing staff and doctor are very difficult to understand (no Germans) I'm so glad he's finally out of this hospital 🙏 This is simply the very last!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal .

(Translated by Google) Great staff, no matter who you meet, whether FSJler, cleaning staff, therapists or nurses, everyone takes you seriously, values them and has an open ear for all questions and concerns. It was my second stay, this time too I could be well supported and supported, which seems difficult in times of Corona, but everyone here tries to make the stay as good as possible. From a medical point of view, I was well looked after both times! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

(Translated by Google) I was in rehab for 3 months and was able to experience the H2 and O2 wards in particular. All in all, I felt very well looked after. Starting with the senior physicians, who supported a clear path through the rehab with professionalism and empathy. The therapists from Physio and Ergo showed that they bring their knowledge to those in need of rehabilitation with all their passion and an individual view of the current sickness rate. However, what excited me the most was the day-to-day work of the nurses. Life-affirming and motivating, they did not let themselves be thrown off course when a patient was depressed or dismissive of the situation. People were always treated positively. And you could have a good sense of humor too. All this helped me to have a very positive rehabilitation process. But your own commitment remains indispensable. It was just a pity that the cafeteria was closed during visiting hours. But this point was not relevant for me.

They don't even deserve one star. My father is being treated here and was scolded and pulled by the hair by the nurse. Another nurse scolded him (while changing his diaper), I will file a report. My father just wants peace and humane treatment, nothing more.

I had been there for 5 weeks due to brain damage from an accident. I met many patients there, as well as very friendly nurses, therapists, doctors, gatekeepers and staff. The therapies were very helpful because they were tailored to my clinical picture. The kitchen and the staff are particularly praiseworthy. There was freshly prepared and varied lunch every day. Even though I have a few points of criticism that I particularly noticed during the Corona period, I still give it 5 stars because I feel much better afterwards than before.
