The hotel was great, really loved it, big parking lot, handicap access, the room was really comfortable, the beds were great, they have great Wi-Fi speeds, the room was pretty clean and the service was great, i would definitely go back to this hotel and to this city.

As a family with kids the whole experience at this whole deserves in my opinion 5 stars. The rooms are ok for a 4 star hotel, but the free access to the indoor swimming pool facilities really makes the difference: perfect pool to swim. There are two water slides (the very favorite for kids), heated swimming pools outside,... All in perfect condition. The breakfast buffet is very nice but nothing luxurious. The staff was very nice and always helpful. The place I would rate as very quiet. You will need a car to reach the city and tourist attractions.

Nice hotel and great staff, all my requirements were met. Rooms are big, could say bigger than usual 4* room, comfy, maybe AC would be required for the hotter summer days. The beauty of the hotel is that you can use a decent equipped gym which is 3 mins away and as a hotel guest you can also use Aquarena, pools, jacuzzi, water slides. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Very nice Hotel with clean, spacious and renovated rooms. Nice and friendly staff and free parking directly in front of the Hotel. During our last stay we could also use the free entrance to the connected Aquarena swimming pool, which was a highlight for our Kids (during Christmas Holidays the pool was closed this time). The room is very silent and beds are comfortable, I would say it's our number one choice to stay in Heidenheim (last time we tried a small Hotel directly at the B19 and it was terribly loud, I couldn't sleep at all). Price performance of the TastHotel is as well very good and we will come back for sure.

The location was very nice, with an easy access to the pool. Service was great, same as for breakfast, offering many options.

All fine, just hotel has no A/C and if you have west oriented room in summer, expect some overheating...

More like a 3-star hotel. Rooms: So the pictures were a bit deceiving, because apparently the rooms have been kinda renovated but the hotel itself feels outdated. Room was clean. No AC in room! No safe and no mini fridge (it was annoying for us being with baby to cool his food etc.) Another thing is that you need to go up 3-4 stairs to reach the tiny elevator, which is not so good for families lis with strollers and bags, and people on wheelchairs and so on. Breakfast: it was ok-good, most basic things are available. Area is spacious and clean. Pool: what seems to be a facility of the hotel, but it is not. It is a public pool for locals, but you would get free entrance. Working hours are separate, which means you have to google them... Parking: Free for hotel guests. E-Station (2 spots) available with regular charging fees. But also was bit confusing because at the entrance it shows it is a parking for the pool and then you have to find your way into the hotel parking area. Ticket must be stamped at reception to avoid charges. (which aren’t that high anyway, 2.5Euro/day) Reception and Staff: general staff are nice. One lady at the reception was unfriendly and not so welcoming. We asked her if we could check-out just 2 hours later than regular time and she refused claiming hotel is fully booked, which is obviously not true. All in all is not a bad hotel, but maybe I should’ve read more about the details before booking. But it was a spontaneous reservation and just had quick look on pics and overall rating which mislead me resulting in this disappointing review.

Gutes Hotel mit angenehmen Räumen. Frühstück ebenfalls gut, toll auch das Schwimmbad nebenan (nicht genutzt). Guter Service abends an der Bar und Biergarten. Alternativ ca. 15 min zu Fuss in die Stadt, leider zurück bergauf. Allenfalls eine Klimaanlage wäre noch wünschenswert.

Wir waren 2 Nächte in dem Hotel. Alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider hatte unser Zimmer keine Klimaanlage, war aber sauber. Die Lage ist gut- man erreicht die Stadt nach wenigen Minuten und kann dort shoppen oder Essen gehen. Das Essen im Restaurant war teuer und leider nicht so lecker. Das Schwimmbad ist toll. Unsere Tochter hat ihr Kuscheltier vergessen, welches schnell an uns zurückgeschickt wurde.

Visited this hotel for the second time during our Legoland holidays. It is around 40km away, but it has great benefit - access to the swimming pool with 2 tube rides and outside heated pools. The rooms are renovated and well equiped, some with nice view of the castle. Breakfast tasty and with variety of choices.

Great reception very helpful lady at the counter. Room comfy with small fridge stocked up. A bit pricy so please do tap on the TABLET with all the info on the counter for the prices. Shower good with plenty hot and cold with good pressure. Bed quite firm. Only 1 pillow. Plenty light for room and beds. Both dinner and breakfast were fine but DO get to the buffet early if you like your meat etc. I give it a 5 star rating fir a budget hotel. Wear a mask inside and use the plastic glove for dishing up your plate.

Sehr nettes Personal. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Sauberes Zimmer mit super Bad/Toilette. Selbst der Eintritt zum daneben liegenden Schwimmbad ist im Hotelpreis schon dabei. Ist ein nettes extra.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel auf einer Anhöhe. Zimmer gut ausgestattet und geräumig. Wir waren mit 2 kleinen Kindern dort und haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt auf Nachfrage Babybetten und neben dem Restaurant ist ein Spielzimmer für die Kids. Im Restaurant gibt es genügend Hochstühle und neben der Terasse ist ein Sandkasten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Wir haben uns auch aufgrund des zuvorkommenden Services sehr wohl gefühlt. Lediglich eine Klimaanlage in den Zimmer wäre,vor allem im Sommer bei über 35 Grad, wünschenswert.

Unser Zimmer war schön, hell und neu renoviert. Sehr sauber mit schönem Bad. Herausragende ist die schöne Aussicht vom Balkon über das Tal aufs Schloss. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Lobby und Gänge des Hotels sind etwas in die Jahre geraten.

Uns hat das Hotel sehr zugesagt, von dem freundlichen Empfang an der Rezeption, über das sehr schöne Zimmer, Bad. Ist modern eingerichtet, schöne Farben und alles Tip Top! Schöner TV und sehr gutes WiFi. Das Frühstück war sehr Abwechslungsreich, sehr leckeres Essen. Das Personal beim Abendessen und Frühstück war sehr freundlich. Der inbegriffene Zugang zum benachbarten Hallenbad ist perfekt.

Ein tolles Hotel. Man hat direkten Zugang zum Schwimmbad das viele Möglichkeiten bietet. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich und sauber und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Schade war das an unserem letzten Abend eine Hochzeit gefeiert wurde das Restaurant geschlossen hatte und die Terrasse ebenfalls geschlossene Gesellschaft war. Hierzu hat man leider im Vorfeld keine Info bekommen (ein Aushang wäre toll gewesen ;).) Ansonsten sind wir super zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt!

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders geschätzt haben wir den Bademantelgang, der das Hotel mit dem angrenzenden Schwimmbad verbindet. Besonders mit Kindern unschlagbar komfortabel. Auch das Frühstücksbüffet lies keine Wünsche offen, reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Wir danken für den tollen Aufenthalt und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

The rooms and the location were actually not bad but the service was really bad. We traveled to heidenheim for a fencing world cup and the "taste hotel" was one of the official hotels of the competition. On the morning of the competition the staff went out of their way to no let us have breakfast (even though the food was already there and ready) a lady named jovana and a gentleman who refused to give us his name were extremely rude saying it was not their problem that the competition was taking place and that they didn't care if we had breakfast or not. In more than 10 years traveling the world for different competitions I never saw staff being so unfriendly and unhelpful. I hope next year this hotel won't be in the list of official hotels since the experience was the worst I had and I would not like to come back one bit. Only silver lining was a staff member named Irina who was the only one who tried to help us.

A good hotel in Heidenheim, were the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is very near the train station (around 20 min walking) and offer a good bedroom, cozy and clean. The restaurant offer very delicious meals.

Hotel is good and has great view from window. Very much vibrant and buzzing place. Rooms were good but could have been better w.r.t. charges taken by hotel for 1 night stay excluding morning breakfast. Breakfast was good. Please is up hill and when we visited construction was going on for the road. Expensive hotel for accomodation.

Big wow for the hotel. The room was cozy, breakfast a big buffet of mainly salty German specialties. There is also a dinner buffet, which is tasty as well. Very recommended!

Located near the center of Heidenheim. We where there for 1 night, as a stop for our Italian trip. Friendly staff. Due to Covid-19 the pool was closed, so no swimming after a day of driving. Plus rooms are a bit noisy. Breakfast was good.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Even during CoViD19 times excellent service.
