Das Essen war lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und der Gewölbekeller sehr ansprechend. Das Pfännchen hatte etwas wenige Kroketten für die Menge an Fleisch, der Salat hätte mehr Sauce vertragen können. Die Portionen sind übersichtlich.

Had a great experience here, we went for the hot stones and cook your own meat, was a large group of us and has a group it was great fun. Not sure as a couple it would be all that exciting. So the waiter bought us out salad which if you like loads of it you'll be fine, for me there was just too much. Then for mains they bring out hot flat stones on which you cook your chosen meat, we had beef and shrimps, you just cook your meat how you like, as the stones get too cold they are replaced. At the time there was a wine festival in the square and the atmosphere was wonderful. The group had coffee and creme brulee all of which were really good

Auf dem wunderschönen Marktplatz von Heppenheim sind die örtlichen Begebenheiten ideal. Dazu noch ein fantastisches Frühstück mit bestem Service. Absolut empfehlenswert. Am Wochenende sollte man vorher reservieren.

Service could be faster and it's hard to get hold of a waiter. Bread ordered with salad didn't come. Fried potatoes were a wee a bit limp, not crispy. Schnitzel with Kochkäse (cooked cheese?) was OK. Nice atmosphere with good view of the idyllic Market place with the city hall.

Nice restaurant in the central square of the village. There was a fair there and was a bit full but the service was fast and friendly. The food was really nice and they have vegetarian dishes. Not need for reservation they have a huge terrace for summer and the place inside is also big.

Perfekt für eine kleine Einkehr am historischen Marktplatz. Ich habe eine Ofenkartoffel für 9,90€ gegessen. Sehr lecker, reichhaltig und kam innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Dazu einen Grauburgunder vom Heppenheimer Weingut. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn auch die Preise eher gehoben sind. Aber das ist es wert und die Bedienung ist sehr schnell und super nett :-)

In erster Linie möchte ich auf die Freundlichkeit aufmerksam machen, die leider fast nicht mehr üblich ist. Ich hatte angerufen und gefragt, ob man mit Hund kommen darf, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Wir waren unten im Gewölbekeller, was wunderschön und sehr Einladend ist. Dieses Resraurant hat absoluten Stil und ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist super Klasse und das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Wir wohnen nun schon seit 8 Jahren in Heppenheim und waren heute zum ersten mal dort zum Essen, was wir im nachhinein sehr bedauern. Wir haben heute unser neues Lieblingsrestaurant gefunden. Vielen Dank dafür.....

love this place. when ever I am in town, I stop on by. the staff is friendly and the food and drink are great. they serve many local specialties. Local hot spot.

Streusel-Rhabarber-Kuchen mit Sahne (das musste mal sein) und einen Cappuccino in herzlicher Kulisse des Heppenheimer Marktplatzes hat sehr gut geschmeckt! 😉

I love to be there.

I ordered capuchino and when I went to the cashier one of the waiter tried to scam me. I asked him how much was it bc I didn't check the price before, and he said 90 euro!!! 90!!! I asked him twice more "how much is it" and he kept saying 90euro. And he even WRITE THE NUMBER DOWN. I asked "are you serious" he said "I am". Even though he said it's just joke, he was seriously saying that the coffee is 90euro for so many time. If it was actually joke than he shouldn't joke around for his lifetime.

Very good food. It was a really neat experience too cook your own steak on a hot stone. Very good meat and the salad was awesome. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
